Apple TV constantly loosing Sync

I have three ATVs in my home and all was working well until this month. Now there seems to be a connection problem. Everything says it is working properly, but when I push or pull movies from my laptop they stall, as if the download is not going fast enough. Then ATV loses connection with the librarys and I have even had it come up completely losing Network info. I have updated all software, rebooted all ATV, Laptops and Airport Express and still am unable to watch movies, they even lose the movies tab across the top on a regular basis. I am stumped and looking for help before I throw them out in the trash.

I get the same problem occassionally. I find that on itunes if after i get the firewall message i click somewhere else on the apple tv droplist (for example music sub tab) then back to the apple tv main tab and click sync button it now works. No idea why it just does. Worth a shot if you have not tried it.

Constantly loosing 3G connection

I constantly loose 3G connection for edge in my Iphone 5S, especially in my office, at one of the commercial centers of my city (oil & gas). When I contacted my carrier (TIGO), they told me that 3G signal (is not strong enough or) has interference from other devices and that all Iphones grab the strongest signal around and cannot be set to use 3G only (Android phones do).
Don´t know how important Third World´s Iphone market is for Apple, but our 3G networks are not mature yet (no LTE at all). So please add this feature in a future IOS update. All Third World´s Iphone users will be very thankful.

Losing signal inside an office building is not unique to iPhone. Most phones have reduced if any signal in metal buildings, underground etc.
Even my beloved android phone.

Creative Cloud looses synced Typekit fonts

Hi.
I'm having a lot of trouble with desktop synced Typekit fonts; Creative Cloud constantly looses some of the fonts I have synced. When I'm online, this is not a problem, but offline it is - I cannot sync the fonts again and so every workfile I have with synced fonts is totally un-editable until I'm back online. And this was also fine, but today Creative Cloud lost ALL my synced fonts, and told me that font is already added although Photoshop and all the other programs said it is not available. Same when I tried to add via Typekit; says that font is already added, and only option is to remove font. I could get the font back by first removing and then adding again with Typekit, but is not possible to do this with all fonts; I cannot remember every single font and style I have used by heart, only way knowing what is missing is to go thru all the files where I've used Typekit synced fonts.
Any suggestions how to solve this? This is harming my work a lot since there are several website projects going on that use Typekit fonts. I'm having serious doubts whether the whole Typekit is now unreliable to use on customer websites... The great Adobe support chat, that should be available 24/7, is closed so cannot ask them. I would highly appreciate a quick answer.

TS3048 Wireless Keyboard constantly looses connection

My Apple Wireless Keyboard (Part Number: MC184LL/B) constantly looses connection (as often as once/minute; but sometimes it will stay connected for up to 20-30 minutes before cutting out).
Details
>It is 2' from my Macbook Pro.
>There's a Drobo next to the computer, but the cut-out happens whether Drobo is on or off.
>Battery indicator says keyboard is 100%.
>Thunderbolt Display in vicinity.
>Happens at multiple locations within my house.
>Error message is "connection lost"
Suggestions?

ACTUALLY: Problem is NOT FIXED.
Making the keyboard a FAVORITE helped--the connection goes down less often, but it still cuts-out, sometimes regularly. What else can I try?

Upgrading to Lion, used cloud, now my apple mail no longer syncs on my computer. Can't get any apple mail to come in. Mail window not working properly. Connection to Internet fine. Anyone know how to fix this issue? All worked fine until I opted for Cloud

I am using a MacBook Pro. Bought in April 2011. Upgraded to Lion, OSX 10.7.3
I have an Apple mail account that synced with a gmail account in my Mail Program.
I then chose the CLOUD activation. I can find my mail if I go to cloud.com but I no longer get any Apple mail delivered to my Mail program on my computer. My gmail account syncs just fine. In fact, the Mail program doesn't even open any longer when I double click. I have to go to the Mail menu, select Message Viewer to even view my mail program now. The Internet connection is testing fine using the Connection Doctor. But when the Connection Doctor program just whirs for eternity and never finishes checking the accounts.
Is this a bug? Do you have to set up your mailbox again for Apple mail to get it to sync after having mail hosted on the Cloud? Or does hosting on the Cloud mean I now always have to go the hassle of logging in at the cloud site to even access my Apple mail?
Any ideas out there? I am sure there are Mac geniuses, the real ones, floating around in cyber space and would love to get some intelligent directions to solve this new issue.

I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.
Still hoping someone out there can help me.

Confused....

As long as you have iTunes logged in with your Apple ID, you can just plug your phone in and sync it, and all your music will appear as your Library (e.g. "Nolan's Music"). When your husband plugs his phone in, he'll probably have to log you out and login with his Apple ID, before he syncs his phone.
The problem is that Apple IDs are accounts. Your phone is linked to your account, and his phone is linked to his account. I don't think you can sync them both while logged in to one of those accounts. Have you sync'd your phones before? What happens when you plug them in?

Sky is right you can restore the old backup and it will not affect the old iPad
To make sure do this:
1. If you have the old one then just turn off wi-fi and the iPad (that's just for your peace of mind)
2. Put new iPad on airplane mode (just for no interruptions )
3. Connect it (while it's on, don't shut it down)
4. Follow prompts and when it asks if you want to setup as new or restore CHOOSE: RESTORE
5. It will make its magic (just wait for it to sync, restarts, and finishes) it might ask you to update software if it does just accept
6. You can rename your new iPad like that you can have a fresh back up
7. ENJOY your new iPad

1. Do the above steps 1, 2, 3.
2. On step 4 you can choose to set up as new
3. Then you can choose what to sync on it (click on iPad on the left panel then the tabs on top you choose what you want on it (you can also do that if you restore)
4. Follow steps 5, 6, 7.

The user acct my apple was connected to no longer works (corrupt). My Apple TV is still synced to that account and all of my recent purchases are going to that username. Does anyone know how to get all of the purchased items back and to the new user?

I created a new user on my computer and moved the itunes folder to the desktop but never changed the path to which the apple synced to. Now I can only see old items I purchased before the user profile went bad. PLease help!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Changing the library the Apple TV is synced with will delete all synced content from the Apple TV, but it won't delete purchased content.
You should be able to change the library, resync any content you want and transfer your purchases back to the new library.

Apple TV (2) Not Syncing with iTunes 10 on MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.8

My Macbook Pro was recently updated to OSX 10.6.8 and iTunes 10. I cannot get my Apple TV (2) to sync with it. It is connected to the internet and I can watch trailers on the Apple TV as well as see/listen to my pics and songs from before the sync. In wireless settings, everything is set up properly.
The TV does not appear on the left menu bar in iTunes. Halp!

ATV2 does not show up in iTunes nor does it have syncing abilities. You have to enable home sharing in iTunes and ATV2 (in settings) and it you library will show up on the computers tab on the ATV

Why loosing sync when coming back from Sountrackpro to FC7?

I am having a problem that happens for the first time, never had it before. I finished a project in FC7 and then sent the audio to SountrackPro to work it.
Everything was fine but when importing the final mix, the track was shorter by a number of frames than the lenght of the project, which makes sync to be lost.
My native setup work is in 25fps. My guess is that somehow something in the preferences or some setup has been changed. I checked in FC7 and my timeline settings and the system are at 25fps non-drop. Also checked in Soundtrack and I have the same settings, but somehow in the process everything gets screwed. I think is Soundtrack thats is messing it but I am not sure anymore.... Any ideas please?

Hi Nexus_9, I've had this very same problem for some time now. No matter how I exported via FCP7 it would always loose sync going through STP. By accident I opened up a new project with a new sequence and voila! it didn't happen on that project. I went back to my standard project template and it did it again. Something had to go screwy on the old template and there was no fix. Now I have no problem. I can't tell you what was wrong, but I know it works fine once I started with a new project file and sequence. To save all of your already precious time, just copy everything from your old sequence into the new sequence and it should all work out okay.

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

ITunes and Apple TV Won't Sync After Moving to New Mac HD

I've had to clone my 10.5.5 system onto a new HD. Now the Apple TV that previously synced doesn't see iTunes 8.0.1. On the Apple TV under Settings>Computer, the link to my iTunes library is greyed out. However from iTunes on the Mac, I can still select the Apple TV for AirTunes and stream to it so they are connecting on some level. I'm fairly certain that I could turn off the sync on the Apple TV side and set up a new one. However that will likely result in the entire 23GB library being erased on the Apple TV and copied again over the network. Is there a way to save many hours and reconnect the libraries without copying everything again?

I haven't seen any reports of it being done with version 2 of the tv software, but under version 1, if you set up a new primary library from the tv which was essentially the same as the library you were replacing, it wouldn't re-write anything which it didn't need to.
As I say, I have no idea if this is the same with version 2 software.

Apple TV music purchase synced with itunes..... now can not find original

Recently purchased a CD via Apple tv. iTunes completed the sync and the album appeared in my library. After another re-sync the next day and error in itunes appears. "original file cant be found. would you like to locate"

Yes it may be simply stuck on there after being downloaded and didn't properly transfer, but if it has been downloaded, transferred to itunes, removed from the tv and then synced back again from the copy (that's now missing) from itunes, then if you remove the listing in itunes (the one that reports the original as missing) then the next sync might remove it from the tv.
