Apple tv doesn' find mediathek anymore
All of a sudden apple tv can't connect to my mediathek anymore. Did work 1 week ago, no changes have been made. Just in case I reset apple tv, but didn't help. I can access the itunes store without any problems and dowload stuff from there.
Home sharing is off the local network, accessing the iTunes store and streaming/downloading via the internet is a separate thing.

My Apple ID doesn't exist anymore?
I tried to login to my Apple ID on my iPod but it said something like "wrong email or password". I kept trying and nothing worked so I went on the apple website and clicked "Find Your Apple ID". I put in my name and my Apple ID usename (which is my email) and it said it couldn't find anything. So I had an idea, I clicked on create new account and typed in my email for my apple id and one of the requirements said "not in use" and there was no red X so it said it wasn't in use even though I knew it was. Then I tried it with my friends email for his account and it has the red X for "not in use" which mean it was already in use. So is it possible my account was deleted and is gone now? I had hundreds of dollars of music and apps on it but I can't login. I even still have emails of iTunes receipts for purchases I made and i saw an email that said my account info was updated and it said this:

The content of the email that you received is normal. In other words it's normal for nothing to appear next to Apple ID and email address(es).
The concern is that if you did not change your Apple ID, someone else did without your knowledge or consent. That someone must have had your Apple ID credentials, either by guessing them or through a scam, and subsequently changed your Apple ID. That person now has access to your purchase history and everything else including whatever payment information is stored under your account.
If you did not change your Apple ID and email addresses, you would not have received that email.
Since it seems that you no longer have any control over an Apple ID that's rightly yours, you must contact iTunes Account Security for this.

Then click the blue Contact iTunes Store support link
Then Account Management
Then Apple ID Account Security
Continue until one of the contact option choices appears. -
Weird problem: apple-F doesn't work in Finder anymore!
I've just noticed 2 really weird problems. When in Finder, hitting apple-F (to "Find") doesn't work - I see the File menu blink for a second but the window to search for files never comes up. Also (and perhaps related?), since the latest set of Apple upgrades, when I run iTunes, it doesn't see my library. The newest version runs, but never brings up its main window. The older version does bring out its window but my music doesn't appear there. What the heck is going on?!? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,
MikeWell, first, the likely fix for your Command-F problem (and other problems you've probably been lucky enough not to stumble upon just yet) is to fix permissions. But you'll probably find you can't do that in the first place until you do the main fix discussed in that large thread.

Reveal in Finder, doesn't work anymore
Using iMac 27" 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7.
Since I have upgrade to Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and iPhoto 9.4.1 and 9.4.2, using menu «Reveal in Finder» (original or modified photo) doesn't work anymore.
This menu was working fine beforehand.
Could it be related with the last upgraded version of Java (version 7, upgrade 9) ?
Thanks for your advices.Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

MMy old iPhone 5c is wanting a password for logging into my apple account. The problem is that the email address its tied to doesn't exist anymore. I changed the email to a different one. But can't figure out how to change the email address on the phone to the new email address.
The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.

Help: I have recently downloaded the newest software version for apple products. I have a iPod touch. After the process of updating my software, my photo app doesn't work anymore. I can't take pictures or view them at all. Every time I try opening the app it kicks me out of it and sends me to the home screen. I have tried turning off my iPod and back on multiple times. Even double tapping the home screen button and closing my opened apps. And I tried looking for the photo app in the app store but I did not see it. So I am wondering what can I do? No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

Hello, I got a new computer with the old harddisk. Can't play my itunes music because not authorised. Apple ID is very old e-mail adress that doesn't exist anymore and I forgot the password (5 years old??). When chose for secret question birth date seems wrong. Tried everything. I need to make a new apple-id but cannot connect the music that I bought under my old name to my new name. Can't reach anyone!!! Automatic FAQ system is of no help. What to do?
That doesn't help me. For itunes it brings me to the express lane which doesn't help because my case is not in it. It's all standard procedure things. I understand those but my situation is different. The combination of a passport forgotten and an non-existing email adress (and birth dates that are not correct or not accepted). What I need is my password emailed to another email adress than the original one because that no longer exists.

Help!!!The apple id login is never deleted. The emaill address itself can be disabled or not in use any longer. The apple id login will still be available to you. If you will go to the website My Apple Id

and use the listed apple id login that your apps are asking for to update - once you have changed the password at the lsted website you then will be able to update using the old apple id once you have logged into the device using the old apple id and password.
