Apple TV download 88 hours!! I have amazing bandwidth
I am willing to attach a screen cap of my bandwidth and a screen cap of the 88hour download of the movie I just purchased. This is crazy. I know Apple doesn't like to give refunds, but this is rediculous!
Hi. Rented it. It did finally finsh, kinda a buzz kill to be 20 mins in and have to wait a half hour for it to start back up. Will stick with Neflix and Redbox. On a plus note I have an AppleTV2 for sell. $50 sound fair?

How fast is your internet - sounds as though it's 1Mbps or less?
For HD movies 6Mbps is needed for near instant playback.
AppleTv has to prebuffer much of the movie to allow uninterrupted playback if you have <6Mbps, how long this takes depends on the average connection speed - at 3.5 Mbps currently it takes around 40 mins for mine to buffer HD whereas Sd is near instant to play.
AppleTV2 has limited memory and using it to do other tyhings while a rental is prebuffering can flush any downloaded protion requiring you to start again from scratch - it can be better to rent in iTunes then once it's fully downloaded play on AppleTV under Computers>iTunes library>Rentals column.

Apple TV is continuous loop after accepting to download and install of the latest version of software ( sept 21) has been for several hours I have unplugged and hoped for some sort of reset or at least the chance to start the download again! Any other suggestions?
Same thing with me. Shows apicture of hooking up to USB which I did in iTunes then it told me it could not be restored

After two months of working perfectly and swiftly my apple tv now tells me I have to wait over 2 hours before anything is available to watch.
The wif-fi box seems to be working fine for any other devise and the apple tv says the signal strength is strong.
I've tried unplugginmg and turning everything off and on again.
I've only just replaced my first apple tv box which was very irratic, when an apple support guy in the store advised the arial thingy that picks up the wif-fi signal was probably damaged. Really hope I don't now have to buy a 3rd.I don't think I fully understand what you are describing as problems. However, some movies that are downloaded directly to the Apple TV can't be moved or viewed on a PC. There are a lot of movies in the iTunes Store that are only available through the Apple TV (i.e. can't be viewed or moved to the PC).
Also, what version of iTunes are you using and what version of the Apple TV software are you using? Some of the ways in which content is listed in iTunes changed with the v3.0 release of Apple TV. -

I updated to iTunes 12 and didn't like it. Followed advice to revert to 11.1. Now my iPhone 5 won't sync and error message says I need iTunes 11.2 or higher. Apple Download choices didn't have anything between 11.1.5 and 12. What can I do? Using iTunes 12 is not an option. Many features I used for audiobooks have disappeared.
The version immediately prior to 12 was 11.4.0.18. Here are direct download links from Apple's servers:

I recently purchased FaceTime from the Application Store. After approx. ±10 meg, the application resets and starts downloading again. I have tried to download it at different times of the day but with the same results. I have been in contact with Apple support and have tried different options with the same result. I cannot download a new Version because in my Purchased List the applicaiton (FaceTime) is still there, and because I have halted it it tells me to resume. I can’t, because the same thing is going to happen. I have tried all the various troubleshooting tips supplied by my ISP and also Apple Support with no luck. I am currently working on a IMac OS 10.6.7. Has anybody got any ideas? Any suggestion would help. Thanks

Not much consolation but even new products can have issues and might need a trip to a store to return/replace.
The reason i asked about the LED on the AppleTV is that occasionally it thinks it's paired with a specific remote and ignores others - the unpair keypress I described is quick and free.

Whenever i try to buy a new song or download an app my ipod says that "your apple id has been disabled" i have changed my password several times and it still says the same thing. What can i do???

Was it a genuine email from Apple or a phishing attempt to try and get your account and payment details ? Whether you will be charged will depend if anything was downloaded on your account, and whether or not it was a free item - we are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know if anything has been bought on your account.
The iBooks app is free app, but if you haven't already done so then check to see if anything shows on your account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store.
If a purchase shows there and you didn't make it, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and made it, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

For the past few hours I have been trying to download ios 7.0.4 from itunes onto my iPhone after trying many times it would give me a error saying network failed! then i tried to download Ios 7.0.4 manually and then put it on but it keeps failing? i have tried everything that i have came across and nothing seems to work please help!

If so, before beginning the download try temporarily disabling your antivirus, anti-adware, anti-spyware, and any other anti-whatever that is required with the insecure OS your computer is running. -
I recently update my iphone 5 and had lots of problems. Apple support helped but now I see that none of my music is downloaded. Do I have to download each song/playlist individually?
Updated the phone to IOS 7.1.1 but there was a problem with my computer. Everything was removed from the phone but I couldn't get it back without help. The tech helped me and everything is fine now except the music. I did sync it and backed it up but wonder if I should restore backup. I'm a little nervous to try that, what do you think.

I have been suggested to down grade to 10.6.6 due to issues with Adobe and Apple working things out. I have downloaded 10.6.6 but wont let me install. Any ideas?
Yes, simply reinstall from your Snow Leopard installer disc. The reinstall will not erase the hard drive. After reinstalling you can upgrade to 10.6.6 with your updater.
