Apple TV failing to reconnect - why it happens
As I reported a few days ago (before the thread was locked...) my AppleTV would lose its connection with my server PC every time the PC was shut down and restarted, and would need to be deleted from within iTunes and reestablished every time.
In case it helps anyone else, I have found out why this was happening. On my network I have a Roku SoundBridge M2000 and a LinkSys NSLU2-based NAS device running the mt-daapd media server. As soon as I turned both these devices off, AppleTV was able to reconnect with no problems - it also took a lot less time to transfer library details across each time you changed sources.
So, it looks as if having other (non-Apple) media devices on the network breaks connectivity between AppleTV and iTunes. AppleTV can't see the files served by mt-daapd, but the SoundBridge can play files from iTunes. I therefore suspect that what was happening is that it was establishing a connection to iTunes and this was preventing AppleTV from connecting to it. Not sure why this should happen, as you should be allowed multiple connections to iTunes, or why deleting the AppleTV connection from iTunes and remaking it should fix it, but there is clearly an issue in there somewhere. If you have other media clients on your network, be warned that they may not be compatible with iTunes.

Nice find, but I have a similar problem and have nothing other than two (Windows) laptops and the Apple TV on my network.
The Apple TV loses connection to the network after a few hours, and sooner than that if the sync PC isn't connected to the network.

I am unable to download iTunes on my second Windows 8 computer (64 bit). I got it fine on my first one and have used it quite a bit. After downloading the program and installing it on the second computer, I keep getting this error message: "Apple Mobile Device Failed to Start." Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

choose appstore and forcequit.

Hi I've tried changing my billing information on settings and iTunes and it's still referring me to the apple support website anybody no why this is happening?

Contacts are synced with a compatible programme in the computer; in the iCloud or with Yahoo and Google Mail. You can directly "edit" a contact on the phone and/or within the programme that you are syncing your contacts with.
Have you configured/setup mails on your iPhone? If yes, check the contents of the mail account(s) individually. (including iCloud) from SETTINGS - MAILS, CONTACTS, CALENDARS

This may be the right answer. However, there is one problem I need to work through first with the Restore before I can go back and rename the folders. The files I backed up from the old computer originated from two drives: C and an external hard drive and were backed up to another place on the ext HD. When I Restored the backup, Adobe PSE 8 copied all the files to the Adobe folder as requested. However, the Organizer looks on the ext HD for the files/folders that originated on the ext HD, instead of the C where I want it to look. (I chose the copy to new location option without preserving file structure.) I didn't realize this at first, so I have probably been making changes to files on the ext HD.
Does anyone know why this happened or an easy way to fix it? Otherwise, I will have to go back and manually reconnect all of these files/folders to the C drive.

Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

Close all Apps and see if Activity Monitor shows any processes runnung.
Not that I think this is the cure but have you tried these resets:
SMC RESET

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and ALL peripherals.
Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
The 5 second timing is important to a successful reset.
PRAM RESET
Zap the PRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
