Apple TV Freezes images after about 3 mins of playing
Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. My ATV suddenly started freezing images after about 3-4 mins into watching a show, pictures, or playing music. The sound still shows but image freezes and you can't even exit to go back to the main menu the whole remains frozen. All you can do is unplug it restart it.

Does this happen to all content, it's not clear whether this is every video or whether it includes music or not. Where is the content, are you syncing or streaming, if streaming how are you connected, wifi or wired.

Laptop freezes completely after about 10 mins
I have a satellite p305-S8837 & after you turn it on it completely freezes after about 10 mins no matter what I am doing whether I am on the internet or Itunes or Microsoft Word. Because of this I can't even do a proper shut down. I have to hold down the power button to shut it off. I have over half of my computer's memory left and no viruses. What is the problem?

LMS 4.1 Freezes after about 10 min of being Idle
We have LMS 4.1 installed. After about 10 min of being idle, the browser becomes frozen, eventually crashing it. We applied this fix for lagging hoping it would fix the issue, however it has not.

We have been tracking a problem internally where the Getting Started page hangs on login. The problem is with changes to Cisco.com access. We are actively working to get those fixed, but if this is what you're seeing the workaround is as follows:
a. Open the properties file name “gs.properties” under the path NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cwlms/WEB-INF/classes/com/cisco/nm/gs/ui
b. Update the field IS_DEFAULT_PAGE as “false”
c. Clear the browser cache and login-in(Daemon restart not required)

As an alternative I would add OpenDns server codes to your Network settings. These codes will speed page loading and add a service that checks for fraudulent websites. -

Have you tried to give it a reboot? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. WHen you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

I uploaded the new Imovie 10 and cannot share videos,after about 10 mins I get the message "Share failed Video rendering error :-50", please help!
I am getting the same problem. Downloaded Maverick and the new iMovie 10.0.1 and It will only upload 10 minutes of a 65 minute video then I get the rendering error 50 each time tried to export to desktop, to thumbdrive, to youtube. No luck. any suggestions Apple?

IBook G4 Freezing up after 5-10 Min Of use
i have a iBook G4 that started freezing up after 5-10 min of use. I took it in to the Apple Store and tech told me that it was the Hardrive.I replaced it and still encounter the same problem. It seems that when if freezes up if i tried restarting it right back manually shutting it off and turning it back on i only get a blue screen but if i leave it alone for a few minutes turned off it will boot back on fine. Can anyone help my unit is out of warranty and it seems that a lot of people have the same problem and it's sad i mean i got this apple thinking it was apple quality and now i feel like i bought a compaq PC.
this looks like it could still be either a hardware or software problem.
did you reinstall the OS when you got the new HD? have you tried creating a new user name and logging into as that name?
Does the ibook feel very hot? An overheating processor will shut down the computer. If you say it is simply freezing I'm not sure if this could still cause it.
Is it always the same amount of time until it freezes regardless of how long the computer was off before you tried turning it on? -
Remote App on iPad connects but drops after about 20 mins. Need to turn off wait about 1 minute, then turn on wifi on iMac before it can reconnect. Need some help please.

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now. -
My radio cuts off after about 5 min. It didn't do this until the last update. How do I fix this?
After the most recent upgrade on my IPhone I can no longer keep listening to my radio. It cuts off after about 5 min. I used to also be able to lock my screen and have my radio or music keep playing but now it shuts off when locking my phone. How do I fix this - it's very annoying to be running and have to stop every 5 min. to turn the **** radio back on.
Push the headphone jack in farther, the plasic on the headsit jack must be flush with the body of the Nano.

My macs freezing after about 5 mins
Hi guys, really stuck here, started mac g5 earlier and was running fine for about 15 mins, I then left it to make a cup of tea and came back to it being frozen with loud fans. Turned it off by holding power button and thought maybe I should clean her out while I'm here. Did that not much dust put it back together and switched it on. After 2-3 mins it froze again so I switched off again using same method as before, then tried switching on, no chime, and both screens blank. Oh no. Off and on again still nothing. Read some forums and tried wiggling and turn battery and then it booted fine. So as soon as it booted I tried the disk utility and checked main disk. Verified worked fine but then I tried verify permissions and after about another two minutes it froze. So switched off again, swivelled battery as rebooted, left it to see what happened and it froze again about 2-3 minutes after booting. It an old 2005 model which I bought second hand about 9 months ago off eBay. It works perfectly until now. I installed a second hard drive just after I bought it with no issues at all. I realise it's and old model, but with wanting to produce music and knowing macs are the nuts for stability, having 3 kids and no free cash it's all I've got and too be honest i class it as my 4th child. I treat her good, clean her, don't run her in high temps, keep dust away etc. if anyone could help me Id really appreciate it. I'm lost with out it and if it's dead then I'm screwed. One more thing. About a week ago I finished using it and clicked shut down and walked away to which then randomly one of the house fuses ( as in main fuse for house) tripped. Didn't think this had anything in common as the wife had hair dryer and iron on etc. thanks anyway guys. Fingers crossed.
Update, the only way I can get it to boot is to remove power lead, open side panel and swivel battery round. This morning I got it to run for 10 mins.
Haw checked disk by doin fsck -fy in to which I did it a couple of times until volume ok message was shown.
Have thought maybe a psu issue but no pops or anything when turning power on at socket. It does make a click sound but it has always done that and also my graphics equaliser does the same.
Pls pls pls help me.Is it a LCS model? Any 2.5 GHZ and the 2.7 GHz models are LCS.

Movie mutes after about 8 mins
Hi
I have been burning a few avis / movs as a DVD to watch on TV through a DVD player.
After building through OneStep from Movie or Magic IDVD on iDVD and saving as a disc image, I then burn in Disc Utilities.
Finally as we sit down to view the sound cuts out after about 7-8 mins.
The avi file is fine and does not mute.
Any advice pros? I have a few big jobs coming up soon

If you can't hear some or all of the audio in your movie, here are some things you can check:
Make sure your computer's volume is turned up. Use the speaker controls on your keyboard or the volume slider in the menu bar.
Use the volume slider below the iMovie monitor to increase the movie volume.
Make sure the audio checkbox is selected for the track you want to hear. The audio checkbox is to the right of each track in the timeline viewer.
If the audio checkbox is selected, then choose View > Show Clip Volume Levels and see if the audio levels for the tracks are set to a level that can be heard.
*The audio is missing from my imported QuickTime movie*
If audio is missing from your imported QuickTime movie, you may be importing video in MPEG-1 Muxed format or MPEG-2 Muxed format. Only the video portion is imported from movies in these formats.
To see if your imported movie file is in MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Muxed format:
Open the original movie file in QuickTime Player.
Choose Window > Show Movie Info.
If necessary, click More Info in the Movie Info window to see the movie format.

In Car iPod Classic 160 cutting out after about 2 mins
I have a Kenwood KDC6537u car headunit with the KCA iP200 cable and an iPod classic 160gb. Everything seems fine and runs well for about 2 mins when I get a 'iPod Err' display. The display on the iPod goes back from the 'Kenwood' screen to the normal iPod screen. Switching the unit off and on restarts the iPod only to stop again after another two minutes or so. Is there something that I need to reset on the iPod to stop this. I've upgraded the headunit to the latest available from kenwood so I'm now stuck.
Any help would be appreciated.Further to the description I have done two journeys where this didn't happen and all was well. This makes for even more frustration. Kenwood can't offer anything other than to reset the iPod which didn't work. They also suggest there may be a fault in part of the 'chain' of bits but I don't have the capability to check - I only have one of each bit so can't compare.
Anyone have any suggestions? Please? -
DVD stops after about 60 mins - Error messsage - disc might be dirty
DVD in my Powerbook G4 stops playing after about 1 hours Superdrive has been repaired twice already. Any Ideas how I can put this right. My warrenty finishes in 10 days.

Just a couple of points to make.
You shouldn't be having any problems at all playing Commercial DVD Movies.
If you are, you need to take it in and have Apple fix the problem.
If you are having problems with previously burnt DVD's, I then lean toward the Media you are using to burn with or the Media your burner is trying to read.
Just a little more information for you.
Any dirty media or scratched media can cause what you explain, as well as incompatible media as well.
You don't give all the information in your settings as to which Optical Drive is in your Powerbook.
Irregaurdless of the Burner in your machine you will find there is a huge difference in Media of the same speed, I have found that using 8X DVD-R Media upwards of 97% of all computers and players will recognise and play.
Also, there is a huge difference in the Brands on the market and some are a lot better than others.
I use Maxell 8X DVD-R. The reason is that the paperwork on the back of the 3 pack I use, shows that it will burn at 1X 2X 4X 8X. I have never had a coaster after switching to this media.

Ipad Constantly crashes after about 3 min
My iPad 2, 16gb, wifi, is upgraded to ios 7 and constantly crashes after about three minutes of operation. This happened before the upgrade too. Doesn't matter the app, doesn't matter the process, it will just crash and then reboot. Have restored it completely from factory specs, new install of ios and such. still crashes.
I don't use this ipad very often, but would really like to use it this quarter as I'm teaching a class on content development for the ipad. Any help is much appreciated.
Brent (a.k.a. Kalihari)I just did a complete restore, wiping everything and starting completely clean. Still crashes and resets. It'll even do it when sleeping, doesn't have to be running. It'll just show the apple logo, is unresponsive during this time, then comes back after it resets itself.
