Apple TV has used all of Powerbook's memory...

Can someone help with what might be a stupid qustion please?
I have a 160gb Apple TV and an 80gb Powerbook and the problem is that I now have too many movies and music downloads (about 60gb) to have left any room on the Powerbooks HDD when the Apple TV does it's sync. Is there a way that I can just use the storage space on the Apple TV without it syncing everything on the Powerbooks HDD as well..? If not can I get the Apple TV to back up to something else, a Time-Capsule maybe, so that I can reclaim all the space back on the Powerbook or will that not work as it's just stand-alone storage and I need a devise that has iTunes on it, another Powerbook maybe(but that would be stupid)....?
Any suggestions greatfully received as this is now a real pain and not the benefit that I thought buying the Apple TV would have been, otherwise as I might just as well use the Powerbook and watch everything from there?

the way it works is buy design. it's not meant for permanent storage of media... think if it as big video iPod... that's how it works. permanent storage is the iTunes Folder.
you can put your entire iTunes Folder onto the time capsule or just put some of your media there (maybe just movies) and just press and hold ctrl as you drag them into iTunes and they won't be copied into the iTunes folder... just the path to them will be added to the iTunes library.. or you can add a USB HDD to the time capsule or plug into powerbook (1TB is about $60 these days if you look) and then back up to the time capsule.
the other thing is that appleTV cannot be backed up so if you were to store things there... one HDD failure there, or error requiring a restore and boom all your stuff is gone..

the only way that anyone would be able to see anything at all on your phone is if they knew your apple id password, or they were looking over your shoulder
if you are concerned that someone may know your apple id password, please change it at appleid.apple.com

Apple mobile device use all cpu

After I have updated to Itunes 10.5 apple MobileDevice use all my cpu,I tried to uninstall all apple programs and reinstall them but the problem appears again.
To uninstall and reinstall fixed the the same problem with itunes 10.4.
I hope someone is able to help me.

The CPU has been resolved after reading other posts:
From the command prompt, enter: netsh winsock reset
Then reboot computer.
My Sony Vaio runs faster, all Apple Mobile Device issues are gone, and iTune starts up instantly and syncs my iPad and iPod,
Funny thing is the guys at the Apple Store Genius Bar couldn't come up with this. In any case, hope this helps another reader.....

How can I verify that the PCI-6534 is using all of its onboard memory?

When using a PCI-6534 under Windows 98 with NI-DAQ 6.9, I need to transfer a small buffer (8126464 bytes) to the adapter, and get it into the onboard memory. The board is configured for 32 bits output, and I'm using handshake mode. DAQ_GET_DEVICE_INFO tells me that there is 33554432 bytes for each Group. DIG_Block_Check shows that 2031587 words (8126348 bytes) are remaining to transfer. Is that in the PC system memory or the PCI-6534 on board memory? How can I tell if it is safe to reuse the (PC side) buffer? Also, How big is the FIFO on the PCI-6534?

When you call DIG_Block_Out, NI-DAQ first downloads your data into the 6534 memory. Only after the download is done (which should happen at about 80 MB/s) it starts outputting data and DIG_Block_Out returns. So it is safe for you to reuse your PC memory buffer as soon as DIG_Block_Out returns.
This is assuming your entire buffer fits in memory. If it doesn't, NI-DAQ will download all the data that fits and start the transfer, and as more 6534 memory becomes available the DMA channel will fill it up.
The 6534 has a 16 sample FIFO and an additional 32 MB of memory for each handshaking group. So for 32-bit transfers you can fit 8 MSamples, for 16-bit transfers you can fit 16 MSamples (per group), and for 8-bit transfers you can fit 32 MSamples (per group) in the 6534
memory.

Android OS using all my data in 1 Day! and I can't disable it.

What da f ok so one day I recharge my prepaid to $20. Next day I woke up and find out android OS has used all my data! I did search about this and alot of people is having this too. But can't find any solution. Sony please do something with the Android OS. So yeah I was so p*ssed off! I wasted $20 in 1 day all thanks to android fu! Can you guys imagine that happen to you guys? We won't know until you try the procedure. The reset will not affect the content of the iPod.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Could also be not enough free space for the iPad to operate efficiently. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
If neither of these suggestions helps, Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

IGNORE the last post: he thought you are using Lion or Mountain Lion.
Since you are using Snow Leopard, you need to install Rosetta. It can be found on your Snow Leopard Install DVD in the Options section.
Once installed all should be well again.
Also, if your computer is connected to the internet when the Dialog Box about PowerPC applications comes up, it MIGHT allow you to download Rosetta from the internet. There has been some discussion that Apple has discontined internet download of Rosetta into Snow Leopard.
Someone else will have to address your lost files problem.

You need to start by understanding the distinction between iTunes and iCloud - Apple confuse the issue by referring to 'iTunes Match' as part of iCloud. It isn't.
You don't have to have the same login (Apple ID) for iTunes and iCloud; many people don't and there's no problem about it.
Your iCloud ID gets you email, calendars, contacts, iWork documents and PhotoStream syncing between devices.
Your iTunes ID gets you the iTunes Store, the App Store for iOS, the Mac App Store for OSX,, 'iTunes in the Cloud' (downloading of purchased items to any logged-in device) and 'iTunes Match' (uploading of songs not purchased in the iTunes Store).
Your family members can easily each get their own iCloud account to keep email etc. separate - in each case they will need a different non-Apple email address (a free one from Yahoo etc. would do) to set up the ID. If they are sharing a Mac they need to be using a separate user account.
They can have their own iCloud accounts and still all sign into the same iTunes account: or they can open their own iTunes accounts using their new iCloud Apple IDs.
BUT they cannot transfer items purchased under the present iTunes ID to different iTunes IDs.

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

I got a similar email. It's obviously Spam. The double period afetr the first sentence and the otherwise poor grammar are dead giveaways even before I checked out the link embedded. -- I didn't click on it, just hovered over it to get the url. And the return address was [email protected] Very bogus.

Hello, when i try to log in my iTunes account today, and i got an error that says apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes store, and i have been using this account for almost 2 years. I have resetted my password it for multiple times, updated new software for iTunes and still same results. I called up customer support, which was no support at all because they told me to ask in here...

You can't simply change the details.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

with the iTunes store. First time logging onto iTunes, get this message after entering username and password. I click the review button and I get a new error message that reads YOUR REQUEST COULD NOT BE COMPLETED tells me to make sure date is set correctly, done, and make sure it accepts cookies from apple, done. I tried everything in my know how to solve this, Apple troubleshooting website was a joke - even the link it has me click beside the error message routes to a completely different troubleshooting topic that deals with an entirely different error message, again a joke.
Current steps I have taken to try and resolve this issue:
1. My computer now allows all cookies from everywhere and everything.
2. Disabled all security settings on my computer, Firewall, Security Center, Large Mace weilding Troll with +5 constitution, etc...
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled all Apple programs, and then all other fruit related programs just to be safe.
4. Needlessly yelled at my 2 year old son out of frustration with Apple.
5. Switched religions to a physical idol based religion, because praying to current formless, shapeless, invisible diety was getting me nowhere.
6. E-mailed Apple support, only to wait for response that has yet to come.
I could use any help, support, donations to new religion based on old broken timex watch diety. Windows Vista OS. Thanks in advance!

I've got the same problem. I just bought a new iMac and can't authorize it, even after I changed my password on myinfo.apple.com
Interestingly enough, my old iMac is still signed into the iTunes store, but gives the same error when I attempt to buy anything once I enter my password.
It seems to be on Apple's end, people in the iTunes for Windows area are seeing the same thing and complaining too. Hopefully it's an authorization server problem.
