Apple tv & HD photos

We take a lot of photos while on holidays and when we get back they look great in IPhoto slideshow on my Imac but as soon as I transfer them to IDVD for showing on my TV the quality difference is remarkable.
I have a HD 1080 television.
Will Apple Tv allow transfer of the photos slideshows with music at full HD resolution so we can view the photos on our TV in full HD

Putting still images onto DVD will reduce the resolution to 720 x 480/576, whereas your original photos may be much larger. There are also reasons why photos are degraded further by conversion to DV/mpeg2 and your DVD player may well only have an RF or composite connection to your TV.
Using the the tv to display photos will not display them in their original resolution or even 1080p, but they will display at 720p which is a significant improvement over SD and you will also benefit from the tv's HDMI connection.
Building slideshows with music in iphoto and sending them to the tv will work but there is a small issue in the current tv software with the timing of the music and the slideshow (they can finish a second or two apart). I'm sure  will resolve this in due course, but to me it is much simpler to use the tv's own slideshow functions anyway, which just takes the photos from your albums and puts the music of your choice adding transitions automatically if you so choose.

Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive. If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down. You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes. Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked. You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library. iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
Shouldn't have any more problems...

Deselect the box next to Photo Stream then reselect it then restart your Mac.

Incorrect. Photos added to the Camera Roll are automatically uploaded to Photo Stream. Photos deleted from the Camera Roll are not automatically deleted from Photo Stream.

I am creating an Apple book of photos using iPhoto and a panoramic image.

I am creating an Apple book of photos using iPhoto. I have a panoramic image that I have split into two 9.5X2.583 in pieces in PhotoShop. I want to paste them into facing pages. When I try to move the images to the book I get images much larger which won't fit on the page. I am using Mac OS X 10.7.4 and iPhoto 11 (9.3.2).

Why not just use the full panoramic photo in one of the "spread" layouts which span two pages.

im using 2 apple ids in 2 different countries. i confirugered all the ios, mac and apple tv in one apple id and when i canged to my primery id only the photo stream cannot be changed, it is still in the old id how to change this plz help.

iPhone's Settings > iCloud > Account > sign out and sign in with Apple ID you want to use.
Your Mac do not support iCloud or Photo Stream. You need OSX 10.7.x Lion.

Issues since I moved from MobleMe to iCloud; e.g. synch with Apple TV, sending photos on e-mail, etc.

I have an Apple TV, an iPhone, a MacBook, a mini iPad and aTime Machine. I use my Time Machine as a wireless router. Since I switched from MobleMe to ICloud, I have had all kinds of issues. Example: things don't always synch. Have not been able to see recent photos I downloaded from iPhone and a digital camera on my Apple TV.
I have trouble sending i-photos to e-mail, synching with Apple TV, or moving photos to Flicker. When I send photos via eMail it still shows my address as <MobleMe [email protected]>. Then I troubleshooted. I thought I fixed it by fully migrating to iCloud, as it gave me message that it still allowed me to move photos to iCloud, even though MobleMe was no longer functional. But, it did it again when I tried to send iPhotos. It showed my address in the e-mail sender field as MobleMe <[email protected]>, but it still gave me same error message that I could not send it. There is a drop down in the field, but there are no other options, not can I change it. How do I get rid of the MobleMe before my e-mail @mac.com address?

The problem is with your router, so the Apple supprot forum can not really help. If they are connecting to the same router it should not matter if you use WiFi or eithernet it is the same network either way.

How to make Apple TV update photos as new photos are entered into CPU?

Here's my situation -- we are having a Halloween Party this Saturday and I wanted to be able to have people sit in front of my computer and take a picture of themselves with Photo Booth. They would then drag their picture into an album (I don't care if it's MobileMe Gallery, Album, etc.). A slideshow will be going in the other room from that folder via the Apple TV. The problem is getting that slideshow to update occasionally with the new pictures as they are dropped into the folder.
Any ideas other than having to back out to the main menu each time and restarting the slide show???

In photo stream on my Apple TV I can only see 92 of the 1000 that I have. Why is this.

A common cause of this would be if you moved images on your computer, and didn't do that within Lightroom. In that case Lightroom is still looking for the images in the old location. You can correct that problem by right clicking on the folder and choose to find the missing folder. Then, all you have to you is browse to where the images are located now.
There is no way I know of to retrieve images after the hard drive has been reformatted.

When I finish the photo book preparation, at the back flap, there is a "Made on a Mac" & an apple logo. Can I get rid of that? Since this is not a free book, there should be no bundled ads on my personal photo book, right?

Apple TV and photos on .Mac

I have .Mac account and I do store there my photos in Web albums. How to view them in Apple TV 2.0. Apple TV asks to enter photo gallery name. What name is that? I tried titles for my photo galleries, I tried my log in name. Nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know how to view photos from .Mac?

Keep in mind that the galleries can not be password protected for ATV access.
That tripped me up for a week or so, as all of my galleries were PW protected. If so, ATV will only allow you to remove the listing for your gallery; it will not show what is there. I edited one of my galleries to remove the PW requirement, and ATV is now able to display it.
