Apple TV is not connecting to WiFi all of the sudden

My AT has been working perfectly fine until I turned it on today. It said I needed to connect to a network. So I go to connect and I keep getting an error message. I reset my WiFi twice and my Apple TV multiple times. I have no idea what's going on. All my other devices are having no problem with connecting to the WiFi. Also when I restart the AT it says "Setting Date and Time" and it just stays there and doesn't set it.

Is it under warranty? If so take it to an Apple store.
You might want to try restoring AppleTV to current shipping firmware using a micro USB cable to hook up to iTunes.

    It seems you've done some great troubleshooting so far. The following Knowledge Base article offers a few steps you may want to review, and it also provides some additional recommendations if the issue persists:

    Resolution
    Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Restart your iOS device.
    Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
    Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
    Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
    If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, please see these steps.

  • My phone will not connect to WIFI all the time, but if I cut it off and go thru Verizon network the it's fine. Everyone else in my house does not have this problem even tho they have same phone as me. I have restarted, reset, rebooted and done everything

    My 4S will get on internet but will not connect to any site including the App store or I tunes. If I cut Wifi off and go thru Verizon network then it is just fine. It is very slow loading tho. Everyone else in my house connects just fine.

    I can understand how connecting to Wi-Fi is very important to maintain better control of your GB. I appreciate all the troubleshooting you have already tried to get this issue corrected.  Does your 4s have the most current software?  You can check this in setttings: Settings>General>Software Update.  Keep us posted.  We are here to help.

    I have a brand new Apple TV. When I first set it up it connected to my Airport Extrement WiFi with no problem. A few hours later it will not connect to any WiFi. It does not see any WiFi available. I have rest it. Reset my WiFi. Nothing works.

    Regarding the update issue: I have seen other users saying they cannot update with the ethernet cable but has worked when they have removed the cable and updated using WiFI, then reconnected the ethernet and it worked fine.  Try it and see.

    So I got a new iPod touch (4th generation) for Christmas this year, and have had no trouble thus far syncing my music and other things to it, but recently, when I plug my device into my computer, iTunes does not register that it is plugged in, but my computer does....I have run out of option, and have even restored my iPod completely, hoping that would help, but nothing has worked and now I have lost everything on my iPod alltogether. I have grown frustrated and need assistance with this as soon as possible.

    Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
    or

    If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

    How can i read books purchased from i books when not connected to wifi . At the moment can only access via app store , which can only do when connected . I want top download to the device , not keep in a cloud!

    If you download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app on your iPad then they should show in the Books collection on the app's bookshelf - and you should be able to read any books that you download from the store to your bookshelf without needing to be online.

    Does the iPod work OK?
    Does it charge when connect to the computer?
    Does it appear in My Computer?
    Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Compare with the iPod that does work/connect.
    I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1

    Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
    Take all the applicable steps in this support article.  
    Step 2
    If you're running OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and take the remedial steps suggested in the summary that appears, if any. The program also generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
    Step 3
    If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. Continue if you find that Wi-Fi is faster with Bluetooth disabled.
    From that same menu, select Open Bluetooth Preferences. If the box labeled Discoverable is checked, uncheck it. Click the Advanced button, and in the sheet that opens, uncheck the top three boxes, if any are checked. Click OK. Enable Bluetooth and test again.

    At the very least, I recommend you restart your router, (your internet box).
    More detail on your problem is needed - are you in a submarine? On the moon? On a tropical island?
    You can help yourself by providing as much info as you can about your present situation - what kind of router do you have? Have you moved it? DId you update it?  Did you do anything to change your setup, and if you did, what?

    With any wi-fi network or with your wi-fi network?
    If your wi-fi network, try resetting the wireless router and modem. Disconnect the wireless router from the power source followed by disconnecting the modem from the power source. Wait a few minutes followed by re-connecting the modem to the power source and allow the modem to completely reset before re-connecting the wireless router to the power source and allow it to reset with the modem before trying again.

    you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
    - Apple will do nothing without a court order

    My white 8gb iPod Touch 4gen will not connect to wifi, I have reset the network and the entire iPod. When I got it for Christmas 2011 it worked perfectly for a few months then all of a sudden it stopped connecting, every connection I try to connect it to says the same thing; unable to join network... I am getting fed up, my first gen iPod Touch will connect to the wifi no problem, but the thing is it keeps crashing. I can't use it for more than a couple of minutes and it goes back to the home screen. If anyone could help, it is greatly appreciated!
