Does anyone have any experience with apple tv not working after upgrading to 10.7
not we can't even log in using the computer we didn't upgrade

It is not signing in with the correct credentials. That is my problem.

Solved the problem. I had to allow cookies for safari and it run - as here: Re: itunes keeps asking for my apple id password. it's NOT entered incorrectly.

For a stolen Macbook to appear in iCloud - the person who stole it must turn it on.
You can't track something that's turned off.

Apparently not!! I am NOT happy about it either! I had always bought my mp3's from walmart.com (until they quit doing it) & ANY time I had a problem, they had it corrected in less than 5 minutes! Enter your correct Apple ID and password.
If you bought the phone used you have encountered activation lock installed by the prior owner. You will not be able to get past the activation lock without the proper credentials. Contact the prior owner. If the prior owner does not know the details the device is probably stolen and you have lost your money.
If you bought the phone new from Apple take it back to the store with your receipt so that Apple can help you.

Please help me, Before my imessage and facetime is working with my email not my phone number. And then i try to change it with my phone number but always failed (i turned it off and on again but can't verify with my phone number). Then i erased my apple id on imessage and facetime, and the problem started, when i turning it on again and i need to enter my apple id and password, it said incorrect and i need to reset my password. And then i reset my password with a new one, and enter it again but incorrect again. I also try make a new apple id, but incorrect again. Besides, my appstore, game center, icloud can working with my apple id and password... Please help me with this issues...

Open Sysem Preferences from your Apple () menu top left in your screen then select the Firewall tab.
Make sure the Firewall is turned off.

How do you reset the security questions when you havent used a credit card to make any purchases, only the gift cards. Apple support will not help me even though i know my account and apple id and password?

Have a new computer and now cannot access itunes without knowing the answers to the security questions. I have the same problem. I didn't set a rescue email for some reason. To find out weather you hav a rescue password: Go to appleid.apple.com, sign in, go to manage account and then password and security if you do there will be a link below telling you that you can send an email to it. If not the link won't be there. Hope this helps.

It still have my old id an password and I cant change it anywhere. I dont have that email account for a year now , and dont have the password of it. You have to do the following to get your new Apple/iCloud ID signed onto your device:
1.     Go to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old email address (do not verify it - this is temporary):
Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and Delete the iCloud account. Use your current Apple ID password when asked. Follow the prompts to delete the account
3.     Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to your new email address (you may need to verify it again)
4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign onto iCloud with your new Apple ID. Turn on the options you want sync'd with iCloud, give it a little time to push the info down to your device.

Trying where? What sort of email address? The following answer is based on a guess as to what you are talking about.
If you already have an @me.com address, perhaps as a result of having had a MobileMe account, and you are now setting up an iCloud account with an Apple ID you will find you will be asked to create a new @me.com address, and that you can't add your existing one because it is already an Apple ID.
You can do one of two things:
1. Sign out at System Preferences; sign in with your existing @me.com address and enable Mail.
2. Stay signed in with the present ID and add your @me.com address in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.

This knowledge base article is the AppleID Faq...I recently changed my AppleID password, not the ID iteself, and the passward was synced across all devices.
You cannot consolidate AppleIDs so you have to just establish one that will be used for all activities. And keep in mind, app purchases are tied to the AppleID used for the purchase so updates have to be made using that ID.

Hi, I'm a pc user and am trying to access an ical via the icloud. This ical houses information about work etc and it is quite important that I can gain access to it. To that end I have created an apple id and password and downloaded the icloud for the pc. However , when I get to the sign in page and use my apple id, I get a message to the effect that my apple id is ok, but its no good for an icloud account/ or I dont have an icloud account. I've trawled thru lots of help pages and nothing points me in the right direction. You must create the account using an Apple device, a Mac (Lion or greater) or an IOS device (IOS5 or greater). Having done that you will be able to sign in from your Windows machine.
FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client.
