Apple tv is reducing tv volume

Whenever I turn on my apple tv, the volume on my TV immediately and automatically goes down to zero. I have had the apple tv and been using it with the same Sony Bravia TV for over a year without any problem until yesterday. Both devices have fully updated software. How do I fix this problem?

Apple TV has no volume control, the issue would likely be with your Sony display. Best to contact them.

Is this an Apple installed audio clip?
Have you checked to see if all of your browsers doesn't have a web page that is opened that has the audio? (Best thing is to quit all of your browsers to get that out of the way.) If it goes away, then find out which browser (if multiple), and then figure out what page or just close it if you wish.
Once you get the browsers out of the way and the audio is still playing. Then quit other programs.

Not via the Mac. I just hooked up a TV to mine via HDMI and it shows the It comes up with the volume logo on the screen with a line through it, when I select audio output via HDMI. If you select another audio output like internal speaker yo can change volume.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Open the Mixer, select all the faders at once and lower 1 of them. the others will follow proportionally.
Or you can just put a gain plugin in the master output and lowerr the gain coming to the masterfader.

TDMS for reduce data volume

Hi Experts,
We have implemented TDMS and installed in all systems.
Our system landscape is like - DEV, QUAL and PRDN (ECC system)
we would like to use TDMS for reduce data volume in non production systems.
We have one more project system which is in the transport line.
Could any one please inform which is the best scenario to use TDMS for reducing data volume in non-production systems without much distrubance in production system.
Also how it is taking care of development system, since the customization will be overwritten in DEV system.

Hi Shylesh,
you can use several packages to reduce your data. If you need application data you can use a time slice (package TDTIM), if you don't need it you can use the master data and customizing option (TDMDC).
I suppose you are going to transfer from one client to another so best thing to do is to create a new client on dev if you still need the old customizing settings.
Concerning the impact of the productive environment. Can you give me an idea on the database size ?

There is a Volume Limit setting on the iPod. From the main screen
Settings -> Playback -> Volume Limit
You can check that setting to see if it set too low.

Preconversion: Reducing Data Volume

During Unicode Preconversion we have this strongly recommended step "Reducing Data Volume". If any one has implemented this step can you tell me how much time (average) it will take to finish this step?

This step is optional step. It is recommended by SAP because it can reduce Unicode Conversion runtime and downtime since data in tables is reduced.
Also, Data archiving is itself a separate project and time of this activity depends on tables you want to archive and how much data you want to archive. You can reduce data yourself by deleting old background job logs, BDC logs, old spools, old abap dump logs.

Impossible to reduce the Volume ?

Hi ! First , i really want to excuse my English. But it´s not my native Language. Anyway i hope i can descripe my Problem clearly and somebody can help me
I own a IPod/5G 80GB. My Problem is that i can´t reduce the Volume anymore to a level which allows me to sleep while im listen to Music with my IPod, because its simply too loud. If i scroll the Volumecontrol to the left IT SHOULD become more quietly to silent. But since today it´s even with the Volumecontrol far left still loud. Impossible to reduce the Volume in the way it work before.
I did make a reset ... set Options to default .. did a restoration in ITunes but nothing repairs my Volume Control. If i move the Volume Control to the rigth the Volume increases a bit. But in the other Direction it seems not to work. Has anyone suggestions what i have to do ?

How do I get the ducking to work for detached audio clips to reduce the volume of background music?

I have detached audio from clips which explains what I am doing in the video clips (they are muted). I also have a song that I want to play at normal volume in the background when there isn't an audio clip in which I am talking and to reduce volume when I am. On the audio clip of me talking I have the ducking checked and set but there is no change in the music volume. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Using apple remote to control iTunes volume

This must have been covered before. I searched through 12 pages and couldn't find the answer. I simply want to be able to control the iTunes volume with my white apple remote. Presently it will only control system volume and I'm going out to a different device where system volume has no effect.

I too play iTunes to remote speakers (airplay express, apple TV, IOS devices running Speakers app.) The volume buttons on my Macbook Air control the laptop speakers but won't control the iTunes application volume when playing Airplay. Going to iTunes to click on a slider is frustrating when there are volume buttons on the laptop.
Another App solution is Airfoil from http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/mac/
There is a cost and I don't have a free Apple/Mac solution. But with Airfoil, you can link the volume bottons to Airplay volume. This is really a preference that iTunes should inherently provide. But with Airfoil, I can push any audio app (Pandora, Spotify, browser audio, and even iTunes) to any number of speakers both Airplay and computer. And Airfoil will link the volume buttons to the audio output on any of the speakers selected. I no longer use the Airplay option from within iTunes but use Airfoil to push iTunes whereever I want and properly control volume.
Hope this helps. Sorry it is a third party pay app as the solution when Apple could just incorporate this simple request.

Apple Earbuds with remote mic/volume functions not working in Windows

So this is somewhat of a strange one. My new Macbook Pro early 2011 with a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro with all latest updates (including the recent firmware and bootcamp releases) doesn't seem to see my Apple Earbuds with remote as a microphone and the volume commands from the earbuds do nothing. However this works fine under OSX and used to work with my mid 2009 MBP. Anyone else seeing this and does anyone know a way to solve this problem?
