Apple tv/itunes not matching

My apple tv is telling me that my itunes login or password are incorrect. the problem is i was logged in correctly for the last 2 months and on my computer everything is OK. so i triied again it still says its wrong. I have not changed anything in Itunes. please help

I had a similar issue recently where it asked me to enter my iTunes credentials. I whipped out my iPhone so I could type everything in easier. Every time i entered the credentials, it said it was incorrect. Having had this issue before with the iPhone trying to log into youtube, I exited the login screen and entered again with the Apple remote. After entering my credentials with the apple remote I was able to successfully log in (note: it was only after I exited the log in screen and re-entered it that the apple remote resolved the issue...switching remotes after you've already entered the log in screen didn't resolve the issue I was experiencing)

    hi i will try and explain this fully...i have an ext hardrive which has all of my ipod songs backed up on it. i do not routinely hook it up as it is really for precaution should i have a failure on my ipod. i deleted all my music on itunes to free up disc space on my pc. no problem so far there.... i think. i routinely download free podcasts from itunes and sync them to my ipod. ok here is where the problem starts..the ipod is full...so i want to delete some of those podcasts to make room for others i havent yet heard. i can locate them on my ipod no issue but when i go to itunes..with the ipod loaded on the itunes site (administrators device) i can not find them on itunes! i have scrolled all through the music section in case they were misfiled somehow etc... I CAN NOT FIND THEM TO DELETE. as i manually manage my itunes so as not to reload my music in a file ..i do not know how to get these podcasts off my ipod. i feel like i am going crazy been at this all day. any help would be gratefully appreciated!!! ty pam

  • My daughters ipone has turned up  having been sold to a pone shop over ayear or more later after it was stolen, the shop keeper contacted me as when he put the pone on it tells him to call me , but the apple id does not match why is this !!

    my daughters pone was stolen over a year ago an it has turned up in a pone shop in a town a few miles from us, the pone was taken to the shop and sold cheaply as the person was questioned as it said to call the number on it as this was set up before it was stolen, but had been switched off and was never traced. the shop owner phoned her to say that her ipone had been sold to him, we have ben to the shop and sure its the same pone and yes it has her number to call but the apple id is wrong so she can not unlock the pone, how can this be !! he wants her to pay him to buy the pone back from him, but the pone was hers originally , what should we donhelp

    I have a macbook pro and an iphone 4s.  When I try to update or add apps on my iphone it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect and after a few times it tells me to reset it.  So I go to my macbook and reset it to something else.  The problem is that it never updates to my iphone therefore I cannot add or update apps from my iphone.  Can anyone help me with what I a doing wrong please?

  • Itunes not Matching!

    I added an album to my iTunes library but it won't sync via iCloud to my iPhone.  it's been over 24 hours since I added the album.  everything else seems to be syncing properly.  any ideas?

    As Michael suggested, you should enable the icloud status column in the view options of Itunes.  then search for the album and see if it actually shows up as either Matched or Uploaded (or a combination of both).  if it says anything else, it hasn't been added to the cloud.  if it is marked ineligible, create an AAC version within iTunes and try to run match again.  if it says "waiting" I'd shut down iTunes, restart it, make sure Match is on and let it try again.

  • Apple mail: Sender not matching message

    I had a problem with my messages from my apple account through Apple Mail. When I opened up the message, the message was from someone else and from a different date then who was listed as the sender. So Bob sent me a message and when I opened up the email it was a message from Steve from six months ago. So what I did was to rebuild my mac email box.
    To rebuild your specific mailbox, you must select the specific mailbox. Then go to the menu mailbox and click on Rebuild.
    This did take some time, but it cleared up the problem and fixed all new and old message that had the problem.

    Yes. Delete those applications and then download them from the desired Apple ID.

  • After update IOS from 6.0 to 7.1, my Apple Id cannot access to my Iphone due to the Apple ID that comment on IOS 7.0.2 was not matched to the old one.

    I have gotten the problem after updated IOS to version 7.0.2.  I signed up my IPhone with su* @pttplc.com as Apple ID via older IOS version and can use it normally but after I update the IOS version from 6.0 to 7.0.2, the Apple ID that commented on my IPhone is sx* @pxxxxx.com. It look like that the number of alphabet in Apple Id is not matched. The new one is less than the old one so I cannot log in my IPhone. After that I try asking for the new password but the new password was not send to su* @pttplc.com but send to my reserve e-mail instead. Please help me to fix the problem ASAP due to I cannot access IPhone for 2 month already. 
    Please suggest the solution to reset my IPhone to normal. Please advise ASAP. Thanks in advance.

    To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID.  If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
