You have a network issue. I am assuming you are using WiFi? Streaming video rarely works well over WiFi. You will have a much better result use a wired connection.

my work out app keeps pausing on my apple watch when the screen shuts off after about 45 seconds. I'd like to find out how to fix. I can't use this watch for work outs at all if it keeps doing this. Only time I got longer then that I had to hold up my arm and touch the screen every 20 seconds to keep it from going off. That kind of makes a work out hard to do and shouldn't have to do this to keep it going.

Thanks for the pointers folks. Yeah, 1.5GB is pretty poor isn't it? There are other suppliers, but you have to get a their phone line installed to access the internet so it's an £85 setup fee plus a day off work for a guy to come round and drill a hole in your wall before you even get to the monthly costs.
Don't get me wrong though - I'm certainly not an Apple basher, but am equally frustrated with both them and the ISP.
Virgin Media spend all kinds of money advertising their broadband as the fastest in the UK, but don't tell you (up front anyway) that you'll be cut off if you actually try and use it.
Apple on the other hand carry on with their 'it just works' mantra, but with Apple TV this only applies if you meet certain criteria (again, not mentioned up front).
I guess it aint a biggie, as i was gifted my Apple TV, and love all the other stuff it does, but from the number of posts on this forum can see that there's a lot of angry customers out there who want explanations as to why they're having similar problems to me.
Will be very interesting to see if Apple release any kind of software update that turns the flash drive from a buffer to permanent storage, to at least ease some of the pain...

Have you even tried the troubleshooting steps provided?
If you have not, prove me wrong.
Physically connect the ATV via Ethernet.
Stream content from a computer via HomeSharing or from one of the Apps on the ATV. Does the stuttering and buffering continue?

IPhone 4s videos taken with - keep pausing

The videos I take with the phone require me to press play a number of times when watching on the iPhone.
They keep pausing.
Does anyone else have this issue? If so were you able to fix it?

It sounds like it could be a file permissions issue. Try repairing the permissions of the hard drive from within Disk Utility and rebooting the Mac.
You'll probably find that it's not just the iPad that is affected. If you were to remove the videos from your camera roll on the iPhone you would probably run into the same problem when trying to sync them back from iPhoto.
PS do you have a previous backup of the iPhoto library? If so try setting the backup as your main iPhoto library and then see if that syncs to your iPad.

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

Adobe PDF 8.0 printer keeps pausing (Leopard, Acrobat 8.1.2)

While running OSX 10.5 Leopard, the Adobe PDF printer, coming with CS3 design premium (driver 3016.102) keeps pausing without outputting any PDF, even after updating to version 8.1.1.
Anybody knows the problem, or even better: the solution?

Personally, Im pissed at this. I just paid a fortune for CS3, and a new mac and they dont work properly together... and late Jan is the best they can do? Complete arrogance on Adobe's behalf. Even the FAQ is worded as a "stiff biscuit kid, suck it up and wait a couple more months".

Pad air keeps pausing when I play netflix

My ipad air keeps pausing when I play netflix. I'm using AirPort Extreme and my internet is fine (28 MBps). Also netflix works fine on my Apple TV running on the same network. I have updated all of the firmware, software and apps on all of the devices including the router. Nothing seems to make it work. Anyone else having this issue or any solutions?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Has the device always behaved this way? Did this start as a result of an update to the iOS software? If the problem is that bad, you should probably restore the iOS software and then restore from a backup. If that fails, restore as new and rebuild the device. If that fails, it's time for a trip to an Apple Store to let them have a look at the iPad.

NEW ipod Classic keeps pausing

My iPod classic keeps pausing randomly, every 1-4 minutes. It happens in my car when it's plugged into the auxillary jack and when I use headphones. When I am listening with headphones, it sits flat on my desk and doesn't move at all and it still pauses.

It may be related to the data "caching" used by iPods with a hard drive for storage. This caching (pre-loading upcoming song data into memory) allows the iPod to play continuously, even if movement and vibration cause access to the iPod's hard drive to NOT be continuous. However, if the iPod is stationary on a desk, this should not happen.

If that does not help, you may want to do a Restore on the iPod using iTunes. The cause may be data corruption on the iPod's storage. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, reinstall its software, and set it to default settings. After the Restore, sync your songs as before, and see of this problem still recurs.
It's also possible that the iPod's hard drive is faulty, and that is why the iPod is having problems accessing the song data (which causes these pauses). If the Restore does not resolve this problem, you should have it looked at under warranty. If there is a conveniently located Apple Store, you can make a reservation at the store's Genius Bar. OR, if possible, return it for a full refund and get another one.

Audio keeps pausing

I have a macbook pro running leopard. My missus has a macbook also running leopard. we have an Airport express 'plugged' into our stereo. iTunes recognises the airport express, and plays our terrible old tunes but the audio keeps pausing. this happens randomly between every 7 & 60 seconds. It's VERY annoying! anybody got any pointers?

Ipod keeps pausing

I have had my ipod classic (160gb) since 2007 and it has never let me down.
I normally have it plugged into my car 90% of the time with just an AUX cable but recently while listening to it as i drive it just keeps pausing.
It is as though the cable is getting pulled out of the plug. but then when i do physically pull the cable out it just keeps playing the music and doesnt pause.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

I've looked around myself for answers to this same problem. Bigger issue is I have a NEW iPod Nano that does the same thing, if the jack that goes inside the Nano slightly moves it Pauses. I've had the iPod new out of the package for 3-weeks now, it's starting to increase in how frequent it pauses. Might just give Apple a ring at this point, will relay their information if any.
