Apple TV Needs Reset

Every time the new TV is turned off/on the AppleTV shows "no signal" and needs to be reset. How do I avoid this annoying situation?

This is your TV set showing "no signal" when the tv is turned off. When turning it on with the menu button, the tvset will show no signal for about 10 seconds and then the menu appear. The tv shouldn't have to be reset in order to get signal. If it does, I'd return it for a replacement.

1. I always have to restart my Apple TV for Airplay when I resume it from Sleep Mode. Neither my MAC not my PC nor my iPhone/iPad can connect to Airplay if it's not retsarted. I did a complete Factory Reset of Apple TV thinking it would be the best way of troubleshooting but in vein. Any help/suggestion/tips from anybody please?
2. Also - Does Apple TV needs internet always for Airplay? I guess that should work on the LAN even if there is no internet connectivity, Correct?

Bad or incompatible RAM is, more often then not, the cause of most Kernel Panics. It could also just need to be reset.
Here's the most used site for Resolving Kernel Panics. Please do all the steps in order, even if you don't think you need to do a certain step.

Apple id keeps resetting

My phone keeps asking me for my apple id. I type it in and it says the password is incorrect. I reset it as per the instructions and it works for a day or so. Then I receive a pop up requsting my apple id. It has happened at least 8 times over the past few weeks.
Please help!

No, the apps will NOT update. I'd like to chalk this up to being a total idiot, but I keep having to reset my Apple ID password. I did it twice this morning, tried to update the apps and keep getting the password reset message. I haven't touched the iPad since, but it just "dinged" again about a minute ago saying that my Apple ID password needs to be reset.
The other "odd" thing about the reset process is that when I go to iforgot.apple.com and reset the password, the email address used to send me the reset link is not my primary email address/Apple ID, it is my backup email address. When I have reset my personal Apple ID password, the email always goes to Apple ID, not the back up.
I'm starting to wonder if MobileIron is doing something to cause the password reset issue. Our Help Desk says no, but I have found them to be mostly clueless with the iPads.

Airport Express needs resetting to give AppleTV an IP address (via Ethernet)

So my Apple TV (3rd gen) is connected via ethernet to my Airport Express, but the Airport Express needs resetting all the time for my Apple Tv to get an IP.
How do I get them to be friends forever without resetting the AE? When the AppleTv gets restarted, it still wont get an IP so I suspect the AE is the bad boy here.
Any idea's?

Has this always happened with the Express or just starting happening recently? If just recently, where there any changes to either the Express' firmware or to the cable modem? What is the make & model of the modem?

Apple I/D reset on iphone

I have just had my apple I/D reset by the apple help line. Only problem is my phone is still showing an older apple I/D. Can you please advise on how to change the I/D on the phone to match itunes. Even though I have synced the phone and itunes and the phone are matched, I still need to get rid of the old apple I/D

Ok, to fix the iCloud apple Id I had to go into setting, go into iCloud, scroll to the bottom and delete ths account (in red).
You can retain item on your phone but read first before you click.
Reset new apple Id and presto.

What does "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email" mean?

For the first time *ever* when I tried to accept a Find My Friends invitation, I got a dialog box that said: "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email Address. To continue using Find My Friends add and verify and email address http://appleid.apple.com"
Well, I have 4 verified emails! This dialog just won't go away.

Oops, other treads indicate this is a bug of some kind related to my @mac account. I thought Apple products were easy to use.

I had the same problem. I managed to fix it by selecting the "Me" tab, then the "Account" button in the toolbar and then in the "Notifications" group I selected an email address for the "Send As" item. Not sure how this got reset, but I was able to accept and request an invitation afterwards.

IF it's blinking alternating green and two orange (for 10 seconds) it needs to be reset. In this case you can try restoring it in iTunes.
IF, on the other hand, it's blinking alternating green and orange (for 2 seconds)
it's telling you that there's NO playable content on it.

They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Though I have received invitations, and accepted them successfully, I'm suddenly getting a dialog box that says "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email Address". Well, I checked my account and all are verified. It's only Find My Friends that is throwing this error so far. Anyway, I can't get rid of this dialog.
