Apple TV - No Sound on Recent TV Series Purchases

I am experiencing a weird problem. I have sound problem only on the recent TV Series purchases. The video plays but there is no sound. Previous purchases work perfectly, music plays without a problem. There is no problem with the connections. The same videos run perfectly fine on my laptop. Does anyone have an idea how to deal with this problem.

Remove all apps from multitasking bar. Double click Home button then tap and hold an icon and tap on little x on every app. Then reset. Hold down Home and Power button until Apple logo appears.

TS2090 Apple TV mirroring - sound problem. Tried everything. It's ****.

I'm feeling totally exasperated. I've tried every 'solution' to the inherent Apple TV mirroring sound problem. Why don't Apple just fix it?? All I want to do is be able to view my computer video with sound when i want to. I don't feel that I should have to spend up to and over an hour trying repeated combinations of turning things on and off, entering code into Terminal, etc. EVERY TIME THAT I TRY TO MIRROR THROUGH APPLE TV. It's ridiculous, aside from the cost of buying the unit, I had to upload Mountain Lion despite the fact that my new (Early 2012) imac should have been on spec. That took hours and it still doesn't work. Very dissappointed, Apple have lost my brand loyalty for such an obviously fixable thing. I found a fix for this problem thanks to a friend of mine who I can only assume did a little research online!!
The problem I had was having AirParrot once installed, and after the recent 10.9.2 update, the third party app messed up the way Mirroring was working..
Here is the fix:
1. Open Terminal in /Applications/Utilities.
2. Run these commands respectively:
sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/APExtFramebuffer.kext
sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AirParrotDriver.kext
sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/APExtFramebuffer.kext
sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/AirParrotDriver.kext
This will uninstall kernel extensions related to AirParrot. Other solutions around the web being posted are missing the extensions within /Library/Extensions.
3. Enter your administrative password when prompted.
4. Restart your computer.
I tried it once again and it worked like a dream!!!

trailers work fine with Sound in my external speakers but rented movies from itunes in hd gives no Sound only in my tv speakers..

Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

iCloud does the job for you. Both your iPhone and your Mac should have asked you to enable it during their first setup. See -> http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
You do not have to create a new Apple ID for your MacBook Pro. If you do that, you may have problems syncing your purchases.

Try disabling the IDLE switch in the account's Advanced preference panel.

Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I've reposted this survey on Lenovo Forums due to it's increasing popularity and the relative stagnancy on TPF. I hope to get some more of your input and support over here on Lenovo forums. (mods, I put it in this subforum because it's primarily concerned with recent T-series)
I am conducting a survey (more like research) in order to find a correlation between components (software and hardware) and battery life. I am doing this because I have two friends with identically configured T510's (except for OS architecture) with vastly differing battery lives. In addition, my own T400 doesn't quite meet the tabook ratings for battery life. But beyond that, this information will benefit those who already own a ThinkPad (how to improve their battery runtimes) and prospective ThinkPad owners (how to pick the most power efficient components). Thus I am asking for a few minutes of your time for the following information (feel free to add anything relevant; anything at all!):

I am primarily interested in recent T-Series as the W-Series generally lives with the expectation of lower battery life, and the X-Series with higher battery life, but post anyway.

* Actual battery life will be defined as the runtime under normal office conditions/light web browsing/note taking/etc with wifi on and BT/WWAN/WUSB off. It's not very rigorous, but it's a tradeoff between statistical accuracy and convenience. OPTIONAL: Extrapolations of a full battery runtime (in case you use charging thresholds) can be done using the formula Δt/Δ%, where Δt is the runtime to drain Δ%, where Δ% ie expressed as a decimal value between 0 and 1. Or you could just write "3 hours on 80%"

Just a quick note - if you have a T410 or T510 and find that you have a battery that is declinging in full charge capacity and run time at an accelerated rate, you may need to update the system BIOS and battery firmware to resolve this. Following the update, you will need to charge cycle the battery once or twice (or perform the battery reset).

Does anyone know whether I can stream video to apple tv and sound to airtunes (airport express) at the same time? I am trying to build a setup where I watch the video via a projector (connected to ATV) and get sound from my hi-fi system which sits on the opposite side of the room.
Has anyone tried that? Would it work?

All apps and purchases are linked to your apple ID, so you can't share them across 2 devices that are using different apple id's, it won't work. the purchases that are on your mac at the moment will only work with the apple id they were brought with.
the only thing thats possible to share is purchased music. you have to first covert it to mp3 within itunes, then your bf can import it into his own itunes library and sync with his phone.
