Apple TV SetUp displaying Error Code 3905

Hi Guys,
I am getting the following Error 3905 when trying to complete the Apple TV Setup.
I am using a Wireless Modem, double checked the password, but cannot still connect.
I cannot work out why?

First post on this forum. I've been pulling my hair out, searching google like a madman trying to find out how to get past the dreaded (-3905) connection error code. Finally i ran accross this post from a lady who turned off her mac address filtering on her router. She said it worked.
So i have a netgear router, i searched around and turned off the mac address filtering box and my apple tv connected to my network instantly. I went to advanced setup/ wireless settings/ wireless card access list and it shows all my home devices connected to the network. I then UNCHECKED the "turn access control" box. And tried my apple tv and boom!
I hope this helps you or anyone! I was ready to return this thing.

Uhhhhh... Thank GOD... Got all of my files.
Spent some time on the phone with Apple Care... who was great to deal with but actually... not as helpful as I was hoping. It was suggested that I try DiskWarrior 4 to try to recover the files. $108 later, I had no files.
More calls with Apple Care and they were pretty sure that everything was gone since once the External drive was installed, like a moron, I let TimeMachine go ahead and back up my new MacBook... so it overwrote who knows how many gig that was my entire MacBook.
I wasn't giving up so I called Maxtor, the manufacturer of the external drive itself. They suggested file recovery software from I365... which is also a Seagate company (the makers of the drive). The suggested I simply use their demo because the demo version would find the files. If it found them, I could buy the software to restore them.
It found them! Another $129 after and I was able to restore all of them back to my old PC laptop.
NOW, I just need to figure out how to get the 50gig of HD video files off of my old laptop now and into my Mac and IMovie so I can actually make some DVDs out of them!
I get that Macs and PCs are different formats but I think it is ridiculous that formatting still means basically just wiping out or at least treating massive lots of old data as if it isn't there. There's gotta be a better way to do that.

Apple tv not restoring error code 38

So i have tried abouut 100 times now restoring my apple tv. I was prompted to download the new software. I tried and then it said to plug it in to itunes. So I did that and hit restore. It goes through the whole process bt when it gets to verify it gives me a error code of 38. I have tried going to factory settings. same error. I am currently on a windows 7 machine. I have restarted twice. I have switched usb ports. I have tried everything that I can think of. Please Help!!!!!! It is currently a brick because when I plug it in now it says to go to itunes. I live in amarillo and there are no apple stores.

A few people have reported that deleting the iTunes application and re-installing it can resolve this problem. Also make sure you have the latest version of Bonjour installed on your PC.

You can use the Troubleshooting Wizard in Device Manager to determine where the conflict is, and then disable the conflicting device.
Disable the conflicting device
On the device Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
Click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. The wizard asks you some simple questions and provides a solution to your problem based on the answers that you provide.
Follow the resolution steps provided by the wizard to resolve the problem.
You may need to uninstall and reinstall/update the wifi network driver.

Every time I try to down load an app from the apple store I get error code 100. I've tried several times but nothing seems to work. It's like I don't exist! I'm running a MacPro 10,1

I'm trying to down load Logic Pro 9. But there seems to be noyhing logical about the error code 100 I keep getting. Any help would be GREATLY appricated I just want to start recording some of my own music.

Here’s how you can fix it:
- Sign out from the Mac App Store. You can do it by accessing the “Quick Links” section in the Mac App Store homepage and clicking on “Account”. Sign out.
- Quit the Mac App Store app.
- Log out from your computer; log in again.
- Open the Mac App Store, sign in with your Apple ID, try to download a free app and accept the Terms and Conditions when asked. After that, the download should start.
- If a logout doesn’t fix the issue, restart your Mac instead. We’re hearing that a reboot fixed the problem for many users.

Apple iphone restore 3GS error code (-1)

Hi,
I have an Iphone 3gs on contract with network 3. I passed my phone to a friend as he said he will update it and install some apps for me, now he has given it to me back and said it isn't working.
I dont know exactly what he has done but I have read up on google about entering DFU mode and doing a factory restore, but when it gets to the very end I get error code (-1) unknown error?
Can anyone help me out and put a guess/finger on what he has possibly done and what I could do to resolve the matter???

So are you telling me the phone is now useless? and by modifying I presume you mean jailbreak?
i have only had the phone for 3 months on a 24month contract! I think serious words are in order
I respect the fact thats this is an official messageboard and that terms and conditions apply etc but any pointers would be appreciated? at least to get the phone back to factory settings maybe? I have read somehwere about being able to restore the phone if its to the latest legit IOS version?
is this true? if so I know I can continue a search to sort it, but dont want to waste precious hours on a waste journey

Recovery disks displaying error code 1005.

just installed a new hard drive, old one blue screened. when installing recovery disks, at 20% progress, an error code 1005 appears. press ok, then system starts again, yet same thing happens each time. not sure what is happening, nor how to fix problem. is it the disk, the new hard drive or ???

Once created, boot from it. Delete any hdd partitions, create one and format. Next try booting from Recovery again.

2008 iMac running beautifully untill recently. Screen glitches and freezing. Apple Hardware test showed error code 4MOT/2/40000004:ADD and I have not seen others with this code. Guessing it is a fan issue based on the ODD and HDD error codes

computer felt hot and while running apple hardware test the screen glitches covered the screen and it froze. Now computer wont boot up. Again AHT code is 4MOT/2/40000004:ADD and I have just seen ODD and HDD codes discussed on other threads.Those were hardrive or superdrive fans, so I am guessing this is a fan issue and then it fried by graphics card. Any help as to whether this is game over or worth repairing would be very appreciated.

You need to take it to your local Apple Store or AASP for a professional evaluation. Apple does not publish the codes from AHT, you can Google the code you got and see if you can determine what it means however the best method is to let a pro handle it.

External hard drive displays error code 22

My Seagate GoFlex external hard drive displays code 22 when I try to initialize it to active status...what is code 22 ?

You should really contact the vendor about this. Try the Seagate Forum. This is not a ConfigMgr issue.

Why does my apple tv get an error code 3194 when trying to restore

There are currently issues with the Apple TV update servers, all I can suggest is you keep trying.

Firefox will not show any site and displays "error code 500 internal server error". Nothing was changed and it used to work just fine. IE works fine, Thunderbird works fine. Complete uninstall and reinstall did nothing.

Comcast cable connected via wifi. If I use a different wifi network this does not happen. What setting would cause this and how that setting would be changed automatically without me doing it. av is macaffee

Error code 50 when copying from TC to external HDD

Hi all, I bought a 3tb TC and backed up about 1.3tb worth of data onto it from an external HDD, I then formatted the external HDD to FAT 32 as I found out that TC does not like to work with FAT 32, no matter, the hard drive ois fixed now. However, when I go to copy all the data back onto the external HDD. i get "an unnexcpected error occured error code -50" or something like that, but the error code is definetly 50. I got this error when trying to copy the movies through, they are MKV files, I checked all the names and I dont think there are any problems with them.
the setup so far is as follows. Externall HDD --USB--> Time capsule. All operations are being executed through an imac.
HELP ASAP will be greatly appreciated.

Error codes are really hard to figure out.. but i think it will be due to permissions.

It is an error from TM but I think it comes from underlying OS..
Can you copy files to this disk from a source other than the TC.. try copying a file from the TC to the Mac and then from Mac to the external disk.. but make sure it is plugged directly into the mac.. if you have issues look carefully at permission. And format/partition type.. do use GUID partition not MBR Or the older Apple systems.
