Apple TV Take 2 iTunes login error

Hi everyone,
I am having problems logging in to my iTunes account (my aol map). Any thought/suggestions.
I get this error...
The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again.
After trying again I get this error message...
You password has been incorrectly entered. AOL members, please call (888) 265-8004 to check the status of your account.

So, I rented a movie from using iTunes instead of appletv. Then, later I went forward with changing my Apple ID from [email protected] to just username. Logged back in to iTunes deauthorized then reauthorized. Went to my apple tv and logged in with my new apple id. Finally, I tried playing my rented movie. Well, I got this error message "your apple tv is not authorized to play this content". Any thoughts/suggestions/. Thank you.

Most every time I try to login to iTunes I get an error message # -9808. It says there was "an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later." Any ideas as to what is going on or how I can login successfully?

Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Same problem here-Apple TV not in iTunes -7 error ??

I have the same problem as numerous others, last week neither of my Apple TVs show up on the iTunes device list. So today I unpaired one of them and of course that deletes all content.
I unplugged, rebooted, repaired permissions, etc., etc....
However, even though the Apple TV sees my network, it won't connect with the correct password. I get a -7 error. What does that mean? I Googled it, but couldn't find anything in the first several pages.
My network is fine (all Apple equipment except for the Motorola cable modem). My network is fine with strong signal throughout the house. All computers, wireless printer, iPhones, iPod Touches connect to the network. So why won't the Apple TVs.
No problems, until I recently updated to all current software for the Apple TV and iTunes. Doesn't look like this is a high priority for Apple to fix. Now it is just a dust collector by the TV. At least my second device still has the data on it since I didn't try to reset it...but now it can't be updated with any new content.

Well, I had given up waited a few days and downloaded the new security update to my iMac, and now it synced both of my Apple TVs.
I have a feeling I will have the same issues with intermittent problems like others. Oh well...

Apple TV forgets my iTunes login

Hi,
Got Apple TV this weekend and I can sign into my iTunes account ok and tell it to remember my login, but after turning it of and restarting it I get can't login and asked me to relogin to iTunes.
Any ideas please.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.

Apple tv not recognize itunes login

I have apple tv for a long time. Yesterday I could not log in to either Net Flix or Itunes on ATV for purchases. I changed my password, reset apple numerous times via unplug and using ATV remote etc. I still cannot log in to ITunes for purchases or net flix to watch after I reenter my user and password. Net Flix gives an error code of 106:200 and Itunes just indicates it cannot find the account.
I am able to log in to Itunes on my computer with the new password and I can play my music on the apple tv as well as pod casts and U tube. I can also play itunes directly to my ATV from my computer. Ethernet is hard wired.

The reboot worked for recognizing ITunes. However I still cannot get to Net Flix on Apple TV. I logged in on Apple TV with the user and password and it said that it could not access and gave an error code of 106:200. I have since deactivited Apple TV on NetFlix...thinking I could reactivate it and allwould be good. Not so much. Netflix now wants an activation code for the Apple TV. Any thoughts.. Tried talking to Netflix but they redirect you to direct tv sales?

Itunes login error, then downloading same thing twice!

Yesterday I had trouble logging into itunes store - apparently many others did as well, look at the online community comments from last night. I tried to buy 2 or 3 times, then suddenly 2 were downloading. How do I make sure I wasn't charged 2x? Who in itunes do I connect with?

ITunes unknown error -11821.

I've uploaded .mov unto iTunes, and when I click to create an iPad version I get an unknown error -11821. Does anyone know what the problem is?
I worked successfully earlier today, but took quite a long time. Thinking that it would help speed along the process, I purchased an downloaded the new operation system. No it's not working at all. I keep receiving the same unknown error code. My boyfriend gets the same error code when he tries on his PC.

Hi!
So i think i closed the wrong service at some point a few weeks back (apple mobile device) but iTunes remained working after that for another week. I then updated iTunes and i get the same "Service ‘Apple Mobile Device’ (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." every time. If i click ignore, just so i can access iTunes with out syncing my iPod (touch 2nd gen) i then get 'iTunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)" when it has all installed. I don't understand what the problem is anymore as I have looked at other questions on the apple website, carried out the advice and it hasn't work. Any of them.
Tings I have done:
- Wiped all iTunes and Apple data from my computer (if you search for 'iTunes' or 'Apple' nothing comes up apart from applets from system code.
- Attached iPod before iTunes install and updated drivers.
- Installed iTunes as 'Run as administrator'
- Uninstalled and re-installed the software nearly 20 times now and rebooted the computer in between everytime.
Please someone help because i really need to get music on my ipod and i enjoy the ease of use of iTunes compared to spotify or Windows Media Player.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
Regarding AMDS failures there is a hint in another thread that disabling the Windows Firewall before attempting to reinstall may help, otherwise take a look at the steps outlined in this post. Re: Can't install iTunes 12.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I know they look a little daunting, but the process of generating the logs themselves isn't that hard to do. Extracting useful information from them is still a challenge but maybe something will leap out. If you want to post the log for the failed components for me to have a look at here or in the other thread please edit out any personal information, particularly your email address, first.

We have had itunes on this pc for 2 years and recently it wouldn't open and another error message kept popping up saying it couldn't open because MSVCR80.dll was missing. I have unistalled the apple programs and tried reinstalling several times but to no avail. Hopefully my music library is not gone. Any Ideas out there?

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

I got an "Apple mobile Device' failed to start error during installation and itunes won't install.

For some reason I got an error message trying to update itunes on my Vista PC and for some reason could not run itunes. I uninstalled itunes completely and tried to download a new installation. Near the end of the installation I got this error message. "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." I was given the choices of 'cancel', 'retry', and 'abort'. I tried 'retry' and got the same error again. I tried 'abort' and the installation eventually ended in another error and suggested that I reinstall itunes. I was in the administrator's account when I attempted all these things.Has anyone had a similar problem or knows how to get the installation completed?? Thanks for any help.
