Apple TV Tp Panasonic

Hi can any one help i need to know how to connect my apple tv to my panasonic viera plasma
Thank you

You're not giving much information.
If it's a black AppleTV 2 you have, then you need an HDMI cable to connect it to a TV. That's it.
You don't say the TV's model number - if you've bought it in the last 3-4 years it will almost certainly have HDMI and be compatible (I've got 2 Panasonic plasmas, one about 4 years old, the other 3 yeasr old and they're fine with it).
If you have an original AppleTV (silver) you can use HDMI or component video (red geen blue RCA terminated leads) with separate stereo audio (red white RCA terminated leads).

  • Connect Apple TV to Panasonic?

How do I connect an Apple TV, Model A1400 to a Panasonic TX-32LXD1

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Analogue (component, composite etc)
There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
    HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
    Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p (Apple TV 2), 720p/1080p (Apple TV 3)
    DAC
Most types of HDMI to non HDMI connectors or converters won’t carry audio, in such cases you may also need to convert your optical output to an analogue signal using a DAC.
DAC (Example Only - Not a recommendation or suggestion that this is suitable in your circumstances)

  • Apple TV and Panasonic

I am thinking of buying Apple TV, I own a Panasonic Vizio HD Tv 55 inch, with wireless access. On the Vizio I am able to access Amazon Video. I know Apple TV does not allow access to Amazon, however with Apple TV would I be able to access amazon through my Panasonic connection to the internet? I don't mind using itunes, but I do have a sizable amazon library.

appletv does not know you have a smarttv
appletv does not replace or interfere with your smarttv's features
when you choose appletv's hdmi port as active input source you access appletv and what it provides
when you choose say an playstation or xbox or blueray player as active input source the appletv is dorment and may as well be turned off
when you use your tv's smarttv features with amazon or the likes same deal
the appletv does not taker over your tv it's a setop box

We can't see the Apple TV menu to change any settings.  Just a blank black screen.
Are you saying the Apple TV works at the shop but not at home?

  • Imovie HD with Panasonic Digital Viedeo Camera Model NV-EX3??

I'm currently using Powerbook 15" 1.67Gz with Mac OS X version 10.4.3. Now I'm trying to connect my Panasonic Dital Video Camera Model NV-EX3 through Firewire. But it didn't work at all. IMovie simply doesn't detect my camera at all. Is there any way you can explain this to me. Are there any more drivers I need to download. Please kindly assist me in finding solutions to this.
    Powerbook 15" 1.67Gz PowerPC G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)   1 GB DDR2 SDRAM

I have the same problem. Using imovie 6 on the new intel imac. trying to import/connect the Panasonic NV-EX3 doesn't work. it recognizes that something hangs on firewire but doesn't recognize the camera.
Apple says ask Panasonic, they don't do drivers. Panasonic says ask Apple, thye don't have drivers for Apple.
Me, stuck in the middle. I thought you just connect a HD camera via firewire and you are in business.
Should I sell this one on Ebay and buy one that works? Which one would that is similar? don't want to get another one and end up with the same problem and unsupportive supliers.

  • Any body know why FCPX doesn't support footage recorded in 1080-60P form Panasonic HDC-TM900 camcorder?, Any body know why FCPX doesn't support footage recorded in 1080-60P form Panasonic HDC-TM900 camcorder?

Anybody know why FCPX  doesn't support footage recorded in 1080-60p form Panasonic Camcorder HDC-TM900???

I'm trying to decide on a new camcorder between the new yet to be released Panasonic HD-X900M and the Canon VIXIA HF G10.  Currently have a Canon HV 20 which works great, but thought I'd upgrade to newer tech.  Looking at the supported cameras list published by Apple, the newer Panasonic hasn't been tested yet so am unsure if it is the same as the previous model.  I suspect it is.  The newer Canon appears to be good, but spec. say it is only good up to 1080I.  I'd rather have the progressive camera if it isn't that much of a hassle to convert the files.
Thanks for alll your info on this subject.

  • Lack of support for Canon G7 and G9. Alternatives?

I am really disappointed about the lack of support for the Canon G9, and looking at the list of compatible cameras (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306835) I notice that Canon G7 - even if it does not have a RAW format, is not supported either.
I am thinking that the purchase of the G9 may have been premature and that I may need to sell it and get another cam that is supported by Apple/Aperture.
What would you guys do? Is there a cam out there similar to the G9 at the moment that has a Apple-supported RAW format?
    Best regards,
    Kjell Are Refsvik

I think the camera closest to the G9 that has RAW support from Apple are the Panasonic DMC-LX2/Leica D-Lux 3 twins. Don't know where you are, but in the US, the Panasonic costs about $400. 10MP, 28-112mm (35mm equivalent) Leica lens, very compact body, and RAW output. The Leica costs $599, and has that classic look.
I don't know much about that cameras, but you may want to investigate.

  • Mac Pro display does not recover from sleep

    Hello,
I have a Mac Pro Mid 2010 with two graphics cards (ATI 5770 & nVidia Geoforce GT 120) and three displays.  After intense use of the GPUs with graphics processing jobs, and after the screen goers to sleep, they do not recover.  The computer is accessible via the network (ping, ssh, etc) however, the screens blank out and no longer recover from sleep.  The only resolution is to reboot.
I have already run memtest all just to make sure there isn't a memory issue.  All tests passed.  Also, this issue has ocurred with Mountain Lion and Mavericks.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences with regard to this iussue?
    Thanks

Update -- I now can reproduce the issue at will and it is definitely related to the sleep feature and has gotten much worse under OS X Mavericks.  Side Rant -- First let me note how disappointing Mavericks is as a platform.  Apple's output seems to be getting progressively less thought out, reliable and buggy.
Now back to the issue.  I created a hot corner that puts my display to sleep.  Every time I active the hot corner the system display is lost -- that is the system continues to function and respond via network (ping, ssh, etc) but no joy on un-sleeping the displays.
    I have Mac Pro Mid 2010 w/ 2x 2.4Ghz Quad Core, 32GB RAM, ATI 5770 and NVidia Geoforce GT 120 using three displays (2x 27" Apple and 1x Panasonic 1080P HD TV) running OS X 10.9.1 (13B42).

  • Why won't my airport express work as a network extender since upgrading to iOS 6?

I have the AirPort Extreme as my. Network and the airport express set up as my network extender. However, since I upgrade everything to IOS6 my airport express is no longer acting as the network extender. How can I fix this issue?

I have an iMac, iPad, Apple TV and Panasonic tv on my network. The apple tech when I first bought the extreme 2 months ago had me set up the extreme as the main network and the. Airport express in a different part of my home as the extender to my network so we could use the wifi outside to my entertainment area and now to get wifi outside since upgrading my devices I can only get wifi outside if to stand next to the back door.

  • Simple iDVD?

I would like to create an iDVD project that just has a picture as the main menu and then a button that says play.
How do I just get a picture as the main menu? Where would I drop it to make this happen?
    Best,
    Evan Jacobs
    P.S.
I have this other weird problem with iDVD.
When I burn files at 720x480 they appear with a green line at the bottom. Althought they look 100% correct.
When I take that same 720x480 file and put into iMovie and then iDVD (all from iMovie) it burns without the green line but the compression isn't as good and the image looks slightly stretched.
    What am I doing wrong?

oh how i sympathize with you brother.
anyone with any self respect would be embarrassed to give someone a dvd with these stupid spinning menus and the most nauseating and loud music ever. and yes, i too and the neighbors have been jolted by the earshattering "music" of the a submenu before i could shut it up at 3am.
in order to clean up the "music", the ridiculous 38:40 submenus (what, the 30 second "music" clip is going to play 72 times? while the words spin around and around- and good luck controlling those words- "chapter extras" or whatever. sometimes it says what you want it to...) each and every menu must be cleaned up.
here are the steps: 1: volume to "0". 2:click off intro. 3:click off outro. 4:delete the "drop zone" 5:toggle the "loop duration" down (i prefer "0" seconds)
and if desired 6 and 7: change menu title from grey while other lines are orange to more compatible colors to the eye. 8: change size of words if desired.
and the "idvd help" confirms this: *THESE STEPS MUST BE DONE ON EACH AND EVERY MENU!!!*
6 menus? 30-48 extra clicks. 9 menus? 45-72 separate actions you must do.
and god forbid you should miss one. start all over again... you can't give someone a dvd that will SCARE them when they hit a button. that's not "works right out of the box".
and the worst part of all is:
my friend who doesn't even know how to use a computer tivos "perry mason" for me, then watches them while eliminating the commercials on his panasonic vcr/dvd recorder. he then makes me a dvd which has 5 minute chapters shown in still, silent menus with properly sized thumbnail pictures on a simple blue background. i learned that $220 machine inside and out in a week or two, then taught him. in the 2 weeks i had the vcr/dvd recorder i made dozens of dvds from my mini-dv camera (via firewire), hi8-vcr and vhs tapes. it takes about half the time to burn the actual dvd, and when you include the menu mess mitigation on idvd, it takes fully one third of the time to make a more dependable dvd. *IS THE PICTURE QUALITY ON THE APPLE BETTER ON THE APPLE THAN THE PANASONIC DVD RECORDER?* if not, i know where i'm going.
working with final cuts express 4.0 and idvd '08 i've spent 20 hours a week 5 days a week for over 6 weeks trying to make acceptable dvds. over 120 hours. and still not producing acceptable dvds. aggravating issues continue to pop up, new problems... wondering if it got it right this time. over 70 dvds for naught.
how do i explain to my cousin why i CAN'T give him the dvds of his bar mitzvah after all this time.
meanwhile, the perry mason dvds are coming in at 5 a week. if i'm watching one and i fall asleep, i wake up and there's just a nice silent, still menu on the tv screen.

  • How to Connect My Apple TV to My Panasonic SC-PT760 Home Theater

    Hello;
I currently use the Panasonic SC-PT760 as the Home Theater DVD Player which only has 1 HMDI output and connects directly to the HD TV, also I have the Direct TV connected to the Home Theather via AUX.
I am wondering how should I connect my apple TV, if I would like to connect ut via HMDI. Is a HMDI switch an option or what should I do ?
    Please advise.

You can purchase HDMI switches but don't expect them to work perfectly in _every_ configuration. What I mean is that your mileage may vary, it may work, or it may not. However, chances are good that it will but I'd make certain that you can return the HDMI switch if it doesn't work correctly when paired with you DVD player and the Apple TV and your HDTV.
By the way, does your TV have component inputs? If so you can use the Apple TV's component outputs to get HD but then you'll have to route the audio from the Apple TV either over standard RCA stereo plugs or via the digital audio optical connection on the Apple TV (assuming again that your HDTV has optical audio inputs, but I see that you receiver has an optical input so that should work too).

I am trying to connect my Apple TV to an older Panasonic projection TV using an HDMI to a DVI cable to the Digital IN. I cannot get any sound. Can you help?

DVI interface does't allow audio. Is there optical IN from your Panasonic TV? By then you can connect your ATV to Panasonic using optical together. It will work.
