Is it possible to have wifi disabled on an Apple TV? - In a similar way to which you can do it with the MacBook's?

There is no option to turn off the wifi NIC in an ATV as there is on a Mac. Connecting an Ethernet cable will disable wifi as far as the ATV network connection goes, but I don't believe it actually turns off the wifi transceiver.

iPads cannot be connected to a printer using a cable.
You need some form of Wi-Fi network to print. You do not need to have that Wi-Fi network connected to the internet. There are some devices that will create a Wi-Fi network and allow you to print. Google it to find someplace ossicle solutions. -
my apple tv is disconnected from the wifi intermittently, the problem is not the wifi as it only happens to the apple tv. that I can do to fix this problem.-
That doesn't rule out a network issue, as it can impact devices differently. Intermittent issues are most often related to wifi issues. Try connecting via ethernet. Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.

I tried to update my IPhone 4 last night thru ITunes and got and error when almose done 9006. It says in the nes that you have to do it thru wifi but do not have wifi and so I synced it with my computer and said I have the new update down now and selected yes and it startedto do it then stopped 3 times with error 9006? I am deploying to Afghanistan and I will not have wifi access. I will have a hardline access to internet. How do I sync my apps, newsstand, etc without wifi connection?
About the only other way I can think of is to have a computer with you or use one there, if you can put iTunes on it and download all your new stuff to the computer, then sync your iPad to that computer.
In switching computers you will lose previous content, but, as I understand it anyway, downloaded content will be the same as long as the same apple ID is used. -

If so it is frequently a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

You can't setup an iCloud account using a PC. You need a Mac, or an IOS device. You can sign into iCloud on your PC once you open an account.

How do I move a movie I have synced from iTunes into the "Movies" tab of the Video App? I need to access a slideshow I made in IMovies and may not have WiFi. I did it once, but can't figure out how to do it again! The file is an m4v. Thank you!
Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

If you're talking about the Personal Hotspot feature, you must be using a supported carrier who supports that feature, and you must subscribe to a data plan that includes tethering.
