Apple TV will no longer connect to wifi

This may be a silly question, but I figured I'd ask anyways. My building for the last year has had an unlocked wifi that we've been using, in the last month or so it has become password protected. My iPhone will still connect to it, but my Apple TV will no longer do the same. Is there any way around this as I don't know what the password is.

There is a one year limited hardware warranty with all iPhones.
You can check your warranty by going to supportprofile.apple.com.
Try to restore the iphone as new without restoring from a backup. If that doesn't work, you're going to need a repair.
And if it's out of warranty, you will have to pay for it.

About three days ago the ability to connect came and went and the connection never lasted more than 10-15 minutes; it has not been able to connect since last night. I do not think it's my wifi router as non-mac lap top has no issues. I have seem many similar questions posted.

Reboot your router by removing all power from it for about 15 seconds. Also, if your router still has its default SSID (such as LINKSYS, DLINK, NETGEAR, etc) change the SSID to something unique. Note that all other devices on your network will have to be reconnected if you change the name, but if the name is still the default that is most likely your problem.
If the SSID is not the default then the reboot should fix it.

Updated to iOS 5.0.1 and now my 4s will no longer connect to wifi. iOS 5.0 worked perfectly. Now the phone tries to connect to wifi but fails every time and the battery drains faster than water from an unstopped sink. My guess is that the battery drain is due to the phone trying to connect to wifi. I have done all the usual things. My phone is 4 ft from my router (and it worked perfectly under iOS 5.0). I have restored the phone on iTunes with no change. I would love to go back to iOS 5.0.

Just checked my wife's iPhone 4. Did an over the air update to 5.0.1 and apparently that killed the wifi on that phone as well. My iPad 1 and iPod Touch works fine.

My S4 was updated today. I've tried with NO success to connect via WIFI in three locations. Can the "downdate" be reversed?

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with wi-fi on your device. Obviously we want your device to have a smooth transition when getting updates. There have been no known issues with this since the update was released. Normally in these situation we suggest doing a hard reset on the device so the update can fully integrate with the device. These steps should help http://vz.to/1dJ9CFH and as long as your information is backed up on either google, backup assistant, or SD card you should have no problem retaining your phone information. Z30 BB Link Software will no longer connects via Wifi

My BBZ30 no longer connects wirelessly to the BB Link softwre, but it used to. It connects via USB okay. The Z30 also connects perfectly with my wifi router. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Original iPhone will no longer connect to wifi

I have an original iPhone updated to 3.1.2 recently. Since then I have had problems with it connecting to my wifi networks both at work and at home with no other network problems to speak of. It was connecting on and off until finally, it will not connect at all. I have tried to manually connect to my networks and it prompts that it cannot scan for wireless networks. Please help apple!

First try this:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Re-enter your wifi info, see if things work now. If not, proceed:
Standard troubleshooting steps in the following order:
1. Reset: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the apple logo, then release(ignore the slide to power off). If no change, proceed:
2. Restore your phone in itunes from your most recent backup. While this will restore a fresh OS, it will also restore the problem/problems if part of your backup. If no change, proceed:
3. Restore your phone as a "new" device in itunes & re-sync your itunes content. You will lose all saved data doing this.
If no change after doing the above, you most likely have a hardware issue.

Now before winston says I am barking mad this is an all apple issue and should not be an issue
I'm not saying this isn't a genuine issue for some, I just don't believe it's a general issue with 7.5, we get these reports after every upgrade and usually in quite high numbers, but as I said before high numbers usually mean 50 or so which isn't really a lot.
I suspect many of these issues are caused because itunes has not installed properly due to a file being in the wrong place, corrupt, missing or having wrong permissions etc, which has not allowed the installer to overwrite, move, rename or delete etc that file or another one.
I don't necessarily blame the user for this, but then again I'm not so sure you should blame  for it either, it can often occur through using poorly written 3rd party applications for example. The point I make or at least try to is that when trying to solve such issues it is often unhelpful not to have an open mind about the cause and hence the cure for such problems.

Try Resetting your iPad: Hold down the sleep and home buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.

It sounds like your iPhone 5s is not connecting to your home Wi-Fi network. You've done a good job of isolating this behavior to your iPhone and home Wi-Fi router.
There are a few more steps that I'd suggest trying next:
Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version using the steps in Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Make sure your router is using the settings in Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points.
Update your Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware and make sure the router supports your Apple product. For more information, contact the manufacturer of your router. (from If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network)
