Apple tv wont play full songs

My apple tv wont play full songs durring shuffle mode. Its really frustrating because it is completely at random. I reset and restored and nothing seems to be helping.

MOV is a container, the codec and specs inside need to be compatible as well. Depending on what software was used for the conversion, that may also be a factor.

So i fixed it by converting each song to a AAC File or whatever. Made a dulicate song but it works, just right click on the song and hit convert to aACC File. For one album I had to right click view in apple store and hit download on the songs that were skipping.

So, if you select one of these songs on the iPods screen, and try to play it, what happens? The iPod does nothing? It skips to the next song?
It's possible you will have to do a Restore on the iPod, if there is data corruption on the iPod causing this problem. The Restore erases the iPod, and removes any corruption.
NOTE: There may be a hardware problem, such as the iPod's hard drive becoming unreliable, that is causing this problem and data issues. It may continue to operate as long as its data stays mostly unchanged, but if you do a Restore to update the hard drive's data in a major way, it is possible that the Restore will fail and leave the iPod non-operable.

Wont play a song i have downloaded...

I have recently downloaded an Album using my phone... works fine!
I then downloaded to my LapTop, the whole Album play's except 1 song!! (holy grail, Jay-z)
I-tunes pop's up and say's my computor is not autherised to play this?!?!?!? Then when I follow log in as prompted it comes up and say's this computor is??.... but still wont play just pop's up asking me to log in again to autherise!!!
Have been waiting 30mins to chat to Apple Tech then saw this... anyone shed any light??

HT4623 how come my iphone wont play certain songs in my itunes library even after i sync the phone?

I just got the iphone 5 and synced all my music from itunes. How come my phone won't play certain songs? It just skips over them. when I play them on my computer, there's no problem?? So frustrating!

New mac wont play itunes songs from old computer and email accounts.

What is the solution for getting songs to deauthorize from a old account that is no longer active?
I recently used migration assistant for a new imac. I have found that some of my itunes library wont play for they want the song to be deauthorized by using and old account password and email. What is the solution to this problem?
and yes I have deauthorized the new imac.

If the songs were purchased using different accounts, you need to authorize your computer for (all) the accounts that were used to purchase them. Each purchased song has the account id embedded in the file info. Each track must authorized according to the account credentials with which it was purchased.

18.5GB ipod wont play any song Ive bought on iTunes after two days

I don't know what generation it is, but it says version 3.1.1 and model number M9282LL in the 'About' section
I have to plug my iPod into my machine every two days or it will start skipping through any song I've ever purchased on iTunes. The only songs that will play after that are what I've ripped from CDs. Even when there is nothing to update, I must plug the iPod in and let it run through the update routine. It then works fine for another 2 days. I've searched here and found nothing. Nobody Ive talked to in the mac stores have ever heard of this happening. Any ideas?

Once you have made sure that both the iTunes and iPod software are current and have deauthorized and reauthorized your computer, if the problem still exists, try this test:
1. Deauthorize the computer.
2. Create a new user in the system.
3. Download the free song of the week from the iTMS in the new user account.
4. Play the song in that user account to authorize again.
5. Restore the iPod (using the iPod updater) in the new user account.
6. Sync just the free song of the week and see if it plays on the iPod.
If it does, you appear to have a corrupted iTunes library file, and you should recreate the iTunes library file in your normal user account, and then sync your music back to the iPod and all should be well.

Apple are also working on the theory that this may have a connection with the iPod entering deep sleep and not playing purchased music afterward until you resync it again.

Itunes wont play any song

ok so itunes froze, so i did that whole ctr-alt-del thing and closed it while it was importing songs from a CD. I opened it up again and tried to listen to a song. the lil song playing icon appeared next to it and it appeared on the top but it wont play. the bar on top wont even move. i dont know whats up with it and maybe i need to restart my computer but i better consult u ppl first.

Yeah, restart your PC.
And if it still won't work, go change the QuickTime settings, because iTunes uses QT to play stuff.

No error but wont play certain songs

When some songs start there's just no music, the play button changes but the slider doesn't appear.
This happens with like 90% of all coldplay songs but sometimes with other bands to.

I'm having the same thing,I'm using my Itouch thats up to date, I'll look up any song and it shows the scrubbing bar but no numbers or dot on the scrubing bar and it does this all the time! I know im conected to the internet, I've tried reseting my itouch, and closing and reopening the app but it still does this, also if im syncing a song to a playist during that time witch takes forever by the way, I cant play any songs that i look up unless there alredy syncd to my device! I'm beginning to think this is a waste of money and im going to stop paying for premium if it keeps doing this!

5530 Using alarm to play full song or playlist

Hello All,
I was hoping to use the nokia 5530 alarm to wake me up to a music track in the morning, however after a minute or so the alarm stops and it retuns to snooze mode. Is there any way to get it to play or loop a full track? - or even better a playlist? Perhaps there is an external app which can do this?

Shadow--hey thanks for the reply. No all the songs are in C drive on my computer. I do have an external drive as backup (Sync-Toy) but all my songs are on C. I was thinking of trying to delete ITUNES and Quiktime and reinstall. Do you think that would work? Jeff

My iPod wont play any song!!!

One day, my iPod got wet it stopped working, and i had to let it dry....After it was "dry", it started working again. But, No song will play. I have tried resetting, resoreing, and updating......I am running out of options. is there a way to fix this so I wont have to send it in for repairs.....plus, my warrenty has expired..

Ipod mini wont play downloaded songs

My ipod mini is not playing any or should i say ALL of the songs that I have bought from Itunes. It started acting up after I down loaded the new version of Itunes. Can't seem to get any help from Apple...I need to know what is wrong and how I can fix it. I mean not one song that I have purchased from the time I bought my ipod mini 3 months ago to today. HELP!!!!

Try burning the music to a CD, then ripping it back into iTunes and loading the ripped version to your iPod. A friend of mine had the same problem.

I have recently downloaded 15 songs from iTunes. My iPod mini won't play them on it, but they will play will play on my computer. When I try to listen to them on the iPod it just skips over them and goes to the next song.

You've updated now and that was non-destructive. Alas, it didn't work.
Before you try restoring (completely wipes your iPod clean), you should try Resetting. You might loose some information, but it's worth a try.

In the bottom half you will find links to resetting and restoring.
Try resetting a few times. If that's not successful, it's up to you trying to restore or wait until there's a fix that works.
I can say it's not a general problem. I upgraded to iT5 (and 5.0.1), purchased music, transferred it to my 1st gen. iPod and everything works flawless.
