With regards to legal solutions I have no-jailbreaked iPad or Iphone. However my Telco allows tethering but there is no joy as we all know the ability to bluetooth tether the iPhone to the iPad is unavailable (thanks Steve ).
Whilst some would say this is impractical, I did the following today as an experiment. First my iPhone has legal tethering support turned on. Under the Settings General-> Network -> Internet Tethering -> I set this to On. Next I paired the iPhone to my MacBook Pro using the Setup Up Bluetooth Device which will create a Bluetooth PAN entry under the Location definition you are using. Once the iPhone is paired and connected you can browse the internet on your MacBook using the iPhone Tether.
Now for the interesting bit. You can share your Bluetooth PAN tethered internet connection from the Macbook Pro using the Sharing option under System Preferences. Just tick "Internet Sharing and make share the following is selected:
"Share you connection from:" Bluetooth PAN
"To computers using:" AirPort
You will now have a Wifi Hotspot on your laptop serviced by the Bluetooth Tether on the iPhone. Of course if the iPad WiFi model supported the same MacBook BT PAN mode you would not need the laptop.
After this I was able to freely browse the internet from the iPad WiFi. No jailbreak involved just using the normal service built in the iPhone and laptop. Of course it is not what you would call a fully mobile solution afforded by the iPad 3G and it is more complicated than using another phone with Wifi app or MyWi on an open source iPhone OS. Pity the latter MyWi app is not available in the Apple Store
It was of course the fun value of being to rebel somewhat by getting the internet access on my iphone to the iPad. I was in a coffee shop at the time so my other friends were able to enjoy the Wifi on their iPads as well. I just provided the paid data service on my Iphone as an experiment.

P.S I think there is another hardware product out there there you can put a SIM card into that does effectively what I setup on the Macbook Pro to share the Bluetooth PAN over Wifi but very compact in size.

You may use the SetFileInfo command to set the file type & the program which will open the file.

That is correct this app sends messages only to other iOS devices or macs running later versions of OSX.

You should be able to email anyone with a valid email address. Who do you have your email account with? Did you set that up on your iPad?
To set up your email account on your iPad use the Settings app.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar >Add Account
Be sure all information is entered correctly.

Apple TV & iPad wifi issues

This afternoon my Apple TV lost its connection to my wifi network and I haven't been able to get it back since. I've re-entered my password dozens of times and it either tells me my password is incorrect or that there is a problem connecting to the network.
What's strange is that my computer and my iPhone are still getting great wifi coverage on the same network.
This is also a problem I've also had for the last year on my iPad. Every now and then it just drops the connection and I can't get it back, even though my iPhone and computer are getting full bars. The only thing that seems to help is to wait a day or two and then the problem seems to go away until the next time it happens.
Could there be a problem with both my iPad and Apple TV, or could it be my Airport Express, which I'm using as a base station?
To try to fix the problem today, I tried the following:
- updated my Airport Express firmware
- power cycled my Apple TV, router and Airport Express three times
- changed my Airport Express channel to 11
for a moment about an hour ago my Apple TV was able to connect to my base station, but then it lost the connection.
I should say, my Apple TV and my iPad for the matter, can always see my network, they just don't always connect when I enter in my password.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem may be?

You do need an app if you want to watch Flash videos produced by someone who has also created an app to let iOS viewers see the same content; in that case you'd use the app produced by that developer. Or, you need an app of some sort to watch those same Flash videos if the developer has not created an iOS app to play his content, in that case one created by someone else to more generically play (some) Flash content.
There are a range of them out there, varying in form and content, and no one of them is "best". You simply have to try them out with the content you are trying to see and, with luck, you'll find something that works for you.
And finally, you are quite typically asking your main question in the wrong way. It is not and never was a matter of Apple not 'supporting' Flash, or not 'allowing' Flash content on their devices. Flash doesn't work that way, it's not a mere switch that Apple can turn on or off. It is, instead, an application (reader) which is produced solely by Adobe and has to be licensed from them and them alone, using their proprietary software standards. After literally years of effort, with Apple and Adobe working closely together, Adobe had never been able to produce a version of Flash which worked well enough on mobile devices for Apple to allow it onto their system.
In fact, as I recall the history, the first version of Mobile Flash which worked even halfway well on any mobile devices wasn't released and available until around November '10, and even then was acceptable only when used with a specially produced version of the Android OS which was compatible with only a limited number of machines out there. That would have been 7+ months after the iPad was first released, and about 3 1/2 years after the iPhone came out.
Up to that point the Android forums were full of people complaining about the choppy, grainy, battery-chomping performance of Flash on their systems. For that matter, you continue to find those same threads on those same forums today, albeit not so much as before. It's not merely coincidental that Adobe has decided to slowly walk away from their Flash cash cow as the world around them moves away from large fixed systems into mobile devices.

ibooks (and other content from iTunes) are tied to your account, and there is not currently a way to lend or transfer content to another account - so unless they have access to your account then no, you can't share.

App Store on Macbook Pro is not accepting my Apple ID, Ipad an Iphone are, Please Help?

I have recently updated my computer to the new OS X Mavericks.
Since doing this the App Store on my Macbook Pro is no longer accepting my Apple ID & Password.
I have tried changing my password but there is no change.
My Iphone & Ipad both are working fine with the Apple ID I have.
I am unable to download any update for my Macbook due to my Apple ID not being accepted.
Please help.

Yes, if you move the iTunes Media Folder to the Time Capsule.
But.....if you move the iTune Media Folder to the Time Capsule.....how are you planning to back up this important data?
(You will lose everything in the Media Folder when.....not if....the Time Capsule has a problem and you do not have a backup copy.)
A much safer plan would be to keep the iTunes Media Folder on your Mac.....or add another hard drive connected to the Mac and move the Media Folder to that drive.
Then Time Machine will backup both your Mac and and hard drive. So, you have "originals" on one drive and backups on another.

My cousin has an iphone and I have an ipad. For months we have been using imessage daily successfully. All of the sudden, now we can't. I was just referring to the visual graphics (you know, the fireworks, stars and other stuff that reminds me of the 70's....) that you can play on the screen when iTunes is playing music?

Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..
