Apple warranty for lost iphone

my iphone4 is still under waarranty and i lost it in dublin.
find my iphone was not activated so im pretty sure I wont get it back.
Any advice?

The warranty has nothing to do with losing your phone. Tell your carrier immediately, just in case somebody has got your phone and is happily phoning their relatives all over the world using your account, tell the police if you think that will help, tell your insurance company if the phone is insured. Change any passwords which might be compromised by someone else having access to your phone. Buy another one.

Warranty for Used iPhones

I am planning on buying a used iPhone 3GS. Unfortunately most of them have their standard 1 year warranty expired. Is it possible to buy extended warranty for used iPhone 3GS's or is it just recommended for me to take them to a repair shop in case anything happens?

Type in your Serial and Apple will determine if the warranty on that iPhone is still available for extension.

AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover physical damage and you will have to pay for an out of warranty replacement.
AppleCare+ also does not cover physical damage but does give you 2 incidents to use for a situation such as this which provides a further discount to a normal out of warranty replacement fee.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

You need to use the sign out option on the left side.

Deleting an account from a device will not delete the information from the account, if that is what you are asking.

Yes, start with deleting your account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)
In the next step, create a new account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)

Create a new Apple ID using a new valid e-mail address

Or, go to the App store, sign out of your current account. Try to make a purchase and it will ask you to sign in, or create a new account.
You can do it through iTunes as well.

I was trying to take my Mac air to factory default settings.
I've done all that it says in the documment i was following, and them during the process it asked me the APPLE ID.
I put the apple id i have in my iphone. But it's not the one... it's said that i don't have any OSX associated with it... so it can not install the OSX.
So what can i do?
