Apple Watch cannot synchronize contacts

Hi all,
My Apple Watch cannot synchronize all of my contacts - my favorite contacts are always empty after 4 days.
I have two iCloud accounts (one for my myself, one for family) for contact and the iPhone contact.
I found that it can only synchronize one of the iCloud accounts and the iPhone (itself) contacts; which it left my another iCloud accounts (onwith over 1500 contacts.
Is this a limitation of Apple Watch to synchronize only one iCloud accounts - can I force it to synchronize my another iCloud accounts?

I am bloody livid. My synchronisation from N95 8GB to Outlook stopped working a few months back. I tried reinstalling the software but it warned me that there was a problem with the installation so I tried to close the modal window. A dialogue box came up saying it could not exit without damaging the phone so I let it complete and there was no marked difference - and the phone still would not sync.
I have been unable to synchronise/backup since then so, this morning I got an update software notice and assumed that would be a good move. The download started followed by the installation. The installation halted half way through telling me I was disconnected from the phone. I read the warning that says 'Do Not Disconnect' So I went out without my phone leaving it to do what it would do. On my return I found a Dialoge box telling me there was a problem with the installation.
My phone had cleared completely. Completely reset. No Calander, No Contacts, No Notes - all gone! And now? I still cannot synchronise with Outlook. I have a phone with no contacts and no means of getting them on other than manually
The problems this will cause me are immense. I suppose there is little anyone will do about this but I was delighted with the phone until this occurred. I am now trawling the net to see if comparitive competitors phones have synch problems because it would appear from this and similar threads that I am not alone with this problem.
I should have calmed down by now but I haven't. I am bloody angry.

How to reset apple ID security questions when theres no reset link, rescue email and apple support cannot be contacted?!?!!

I'm trying to purchase music with a iTunes gift card and iTunes is prompting me for ID security answers (which I swear Ive never answered before). I cannot reset them as there's no link, my account does not have a rescue email and...apple support seems to be down at the moment and I cannot find a contact number.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Apple apps cannot find contacts (like in Mail.app)

Any Apple app that I open under an upgraded Mountain Lion, is nit seeing any addresses in Contacts.
For instance, when I start a new message in Mail, and try to insert an address of a known person, there is no result, and only a endless "loading" gif.
It doesn't work when when I want to find contacts in Facetime or share in Photobooth.
The only time it does work, is after I gave 3rd party apps permissions to use my Contacts.
Any idea how to sort this out?

I had the same issue and after looking into a few other threads for ideas, I have finally found a way to get my contacts back into Mail.
Follow these steps and it might help you:
close Mail
go to /Users/<insert_your_user_here>/Library/Containers/ with the 'go to folder' command from the 'Go' menu in the Finder
look for the com.apple.mail folder and just put it in the trash.
disclaimer: you will loose most of your mail's settings, including junk training, stationnaries, toolbars and more.
re-launch Mail.
Your addressbook panel should not be empty anymore.

Are the new apple watches water proof or water resistant?

i would like to know if the new apple watches are waterproof or water resistant. i was thinking of buying one but i would like to be able to keep it on the whole day while i wash dishes and shower and run in the rain or something close to that.

Important handling information
Exposure to liquid Apple Watch is water resistant but not waterproof. You may, for example, wear and use Apple Watch during exercise (exposure to sweat is OK), in the rain, and while washing your hands. If water splashes on to the watch, wipe it off with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth. Submerging Apple Watch is not recommended. Apple Watch has a water resistance rating of IPX7 under IEC standard 60529. The leather bands are not water resistant. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and Apple Watch cannot be rechecked or resealed for water resistance. The following may affect the water resistance of Apple Watch and should be avoided:
Dropping Apple Watch or subjecting it to other impacts.
Submerging Apple Watch in water for long periods of time.
Swimming or bathing with Apple Watch.

Please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. These are user-to-user support forums, so in almost all cases the only people who will reply to your posts are, like me, your fellow users.
As to your issue, Apple does not and never has made a wristwatch as such. The only thing close to a watch that they have made was the 6th-generation iPod nano:

ITS Content Cannot Sync Because Apple TV could not contact the iTune Store

No wonder it's still a hobby. Once again, I woke up to discover that all my synced iTS content had simply disappeared from my Apple TVs [third time this has happened with over 100gb of content), and neither one of them was appearing in my iTunes "control" Mac mini. Both of them. Photos and non-iTS music were still there, that is, until I had to disconnect/reconnect to my mini, in which case I had to start from scratch. Upon rebooting the ATVs, the rental video content was available, but when I tried to re-sync my purchased content libraries, I get this message: "Some of the items were not copied to the Apple TV because the Apple TV could not contact the iTunes store to authorize." Checked my account. It's fine. Actually then tested a rental and a purchase from the Apple TV, and that worked fine, so obviously my network can access the iTS and so can the ATV. But when I try to sync, ATV claims it cannot access the iTS. This is happening on both. So, I quit iTunes and remove the iTunes plist files and start over. Same story!

So, after searching more here, I decided to try an authorize/deauthorize/authorize set of steps; the computer itself was already properly authorized, but what the heck. Presto.

Can't call Facetime Audio contacts from Apple Watch

Why can't you call Facetime Audio contacts from the Apple Watch? All it does is hand it off to the iPhone where I need to tap a button to call using the iPhone. Even contacts with FaceTime audio can't be called from the Apple Watch. iMessage is fine though. Am I missing something here?
When I choose a contact from Friends, all numbers are there, but no FaceTime at all.

If I had to guess at the reason, I'd say one or more of:
- Avoiding impact on watch battery life
- Some constraint on the wifi watch-to-phone connection (don't ask me what - I'm guessing )
- Feature planned for the future, but Apple following its normal practice of starting with restricted features and adding them incrementally later (as, for example, with iPhone, which had very little at first)

I cannot synchronize my contacts with my Blackberry with iCloud

Since the move from Mobileme to Icloud I cannot synchronize my contacts with my Blackberry using desktop software from Rim. Has anyone an idea on how to do it ?

With the move to iCloud your contacts live on the iCloud server - you will see them listed under 'iCloud' rather than 'On My Mac'.
Blackberry cannot access the iCloud server: it can only sync with contacts held under 'On My Mac'. Therefore you have two options: leave things as they are and sync with iCloud but not Blackberry: or move your contacts back to 'On My Mac' and sync with Blackberry not iCloud.
(Or I suppose you could maintain the contacts list on both, giving your duplicates on your Mac, and any changed or additions would have to be entered twice).
To move your contacts, select them all, then from the File Menu choose Export>vCard. Set the default contacts list to 'On My Mac' in Preferences and import the vCard. You can then delete the iCloud contacts list (or just turn off iCloud syncing for contacts).
A similar situation applies with calendars.

2 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches on the same Apple ID

My household has 2 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches on the same Apple ID. When using the Apple Watch to contact one another (taps, drawings, heartbeat), the alert is duplicated on both Apple Watches. Is there a fix to this?
iMessage has a setting that allows each device to select from which phone number (or email) alerts are received. I see no setting like this on the Apple Watch for watch-based communication...

Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library. Note that once done you cannot "share" apps under a single Apple ID. Each of you must purchase your own apps under your own Apple ID. When you decide to split up like this one of you will need to re-purchase the apps that they want to use.
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data. Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

Exercise sensor on apple watch

How can I tell if I have a sensor off or not working properly? Today I completed 45 mins of cardio by using the workout app on my watch and it calculated 45 mins however when I go to my exercise goal for today it states I have only completed 27 mins of exercise. How can that be accurate when previously my workout app stated 45 mins. I wear the watch tight on my arm so it's not boucing around.

On the iPhone 6, using the Apple Watch app, in the process of pairing with Apple Watch, there is a two-step verification of the Apple ID.
Whenever I entered the 4-digit verification code, I instantly got the unhelpful message "Cannot Connect To Server - OK". I tried it over the course of the first 12 hours or so, maybe 20 times.
The local Genius Bar guys at the Apple Store were unhelpful. The Genius Bar guys had me erase and restore the phone which had no effect. That unnecessary "lets give this a shot" step was less than ideal.
When I contacted the Apple Support team I was instructed to turn off two-step verification on my Apple ID, pair the Watch, then turn two-step back on.
That "worked" in that my Watch is working now, but this seems really odd to me. Not a typical "It Just Works" Apple experience at all.
If Apple does anything about this, I hope they will at least fix that unhelpful modal message "Cannot Connect To Server".

"Apple ID cannot be used for MobileMe" when setting up Find My iPhone app

Okay, folks, spent some time with MobileMe support via chat this morning. This is what I've learned. Apparently you CANNOT use an Apple ID, regardless of what format it's in (usually a full email address) AS LONG AS IT'S ASSOCIATED WITH A MOBILE ME (ME.COM ADDRESS) ACCOUNT THAT IS CLOSED OR NO LONGER ACTIVE. Unfortunately, there is no way to disassociate the two and there is no way the old MobileMe (me.com address) account can be deleted.
Apparently, I had some issue when I was trying out the MobileMe for the trial period many months ago and for some reason couldn't use my primary Apple ID (my primary email address), so I created a me.com address for the MobileMe account. Eventually, I cancelled the MobileMe account because the cost wasn't justified for the features it offered. Unfortunately, that association with my primary Apple ID is permanent and THAT is the source of the "This Apple ID canot be used for MobileMe" error. Or at least that's ONE reason for it.
The solution? Create a completely new, separate Apple ID using a valid email address from which you can receive a verification email. The address is NOT used to receive any further emails from Apple. Only to create logon credentials. Do NOT associate this email address with your current/primary Apple ID or any other Apple ID. This is what you use to set up Find My iPhone/iPad, etc. using the MobileMe setup in Settings>Mail/Contacts/Calendars as well as the Find My iPhone App (plus it's your logon to the MobileMe Find My iPhone web page).
When you log in to the MobileMe page, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ENTER YOUR APPLE ID IF IT'S A FULL EMAIL ADDRESS: apparently, the ID field automatically tries to change it to "[email protected]" instead of your "[email protected]". Just check it before and after you enter your Apple ID password and submit.
I did this and it works. Find My iPhone app and service works beautifully. Spotted my iPad right where I'm at on a map. I sent a message to my iPad via the service (which also offers the option to play a sound, lock the device or even wipe the device).
I hope this information helps SOMEONE.
Oh...interesting footnote: I was informed that APPLE IDs CANNOT BE DELETED. Even if you create a "test" Apple ID (like I did during our troubleshooting session) with some barely used email account using a weak password. That means, regardless of whether you use it or not for MobileMe/Find My iPhone, you really, really need to give it a SECURE password (if you're going to keep that email account alive). So yeah, there are a lot of dormant Apple IDs floating around out there!

I found this 'bug' out the other day when getting ready for my new iPhone I was setting up my iPad with some new apps too and wanted to work with Find My iPhone.
Here's the deal; my main AppleID is just a simple 'Username' not a '[email protected]' AppleID.
I've had this since the need for AppleIDs were used for these forums and the iTunes Store, AppStore, etc.
So it works fine and well with that stuff but not with find my iphone on my iPad as it wants a full email account, either a '@me.com' or a '[email protected]' AppleID which I did create but I think it was used as Job profile or something other along those lines (NOT used for a MobileMe account or .mac either).
And I only have access to one email now and I dont feel comfortable having multiple email addresses that I dont check or have no use for, call my simple or naive but thats just how it goes.
What I'd like to do is be able to use either AppleID for my Find My iPhone app and everything else.
And I think thats a good point, '@me.com's for all. make it a whole lot easier in my opinion.
merge all the apple accounts you created into a MobileMe, simplifies the situation and makes it easier connect to all Apple Services.
My itunes account, apple.com store account, appstore account, main AppleID for the past couple years it "Maxwell Stanley" but it does NOT work with Find My iPhone. So i created [email protected] (example.com is in place of my true email domain for privacy reasons) and that doesnt work as it statse it Cannot Be used.
My 'Maxwell Stanley" Apple ID's email associated with it was [email protected] i tried changing it to [email protected] but still doesnt recognize that as an AppleID even though its associated with "Maxwell Stanley".
I event ried to use the SAME email that is associated with my 2nd AppleID '[email protected]' with the appleid 'Maxwell Stanley' and no dice.
running out of options it seems.

No. You cannot link your contacts to hers. However, you can use Home Sharing to share the information:
