Apple watch keeps disconnecting headphones

Ok, so 2 days now with multiple forgetting and repairing to see if it would solve the problem but the watch keeps dropping my LG bluetooth headphones.
I keep getting searching for devise to connect too on my headphones, about every couple of minutes. obviously I'm within range despite what it's doing cause the watch is on my wrist and the headphones are on my head, so no more than 3 feet away at any given time.
Is anyone else having this issue and if so how did you solve it? I'm beginning to think this thing is just broken.
Thank you,
d

I just finished chatting with an apple rep, basically none of the features that were advertised that I wanted are working currently.
the Wifi sync is pretty much a broken feature, if it's working for you, great, but they are no longer pushing that as it doesn't work. when it does they said it's very limited. Bluetooth is spotty to non existent depending on your headphones. no wireless music to watch to headphones at all.
So I returned it.
As always Apples support staff and ease of returning were top notch!
Hoping Rev. 2 is much better!

Have you even tried the troubleshooting steps provided?
If you have not, prove me wrong.

  • Work out app on my apple watch keeps pausing

my work out app keeps pausing on my apple watch when the screen shuts off after about 45 seconds. I'd like to find out how to fix. I can't use this watch for work outs at all if it keeps doing this. Only time I got longer then that I had to hold up my arm and touch the screen every 20 seconds to keep it from going off. That kind of makes a work out hard to do and shouldn't have to do this to keep it going.

does apple even help with the issues we have?

  • HT200197 Home Sharing on Apple TV keeps disconnecting

My apple tv just recently stopped recognizing that my home sharing is turned on.  I can watch a full movie from my iTunes, but when it finishes, it goes to the home menu and when i go to the Computer app, it says to turn on Home Sharing.  Home Sharing is turned "ON" on my itunes on my computer, so i'm not sure why Apple TV doesn't recognize it, even when it clearly recoginized it as turned on 2 hours prior.
This started happening after i updated the Mavericks OS to the version 10.9.2 and itunes to version 11.1.5.  The only fix i have is to turn "off" home sharing in iTunes then to turn it back "on."  This seems to fix it in the meantime, but after another movie, it happens all over again.
Does anyone else have this issue?  It's pretty annoying to have to keep turning off then back on Home Sharing on my itunes.

I've recently had BT infinity2 installed and that was a joke! 2 engineer visits later and I'm still not seeing speeds above the top end of infinty1, I monitored the line very closely for the first few weeks and noticed a lot of sudden drop outs, got to a point were bt claimed they couldn't do any more and offered a deadlock however that's no good to me as it's quite rural here and there is no other provider!
Not that this would effect the ATV but I have had concerns over the quialty of the hub!!
I might call Bt and get there tech people to look into the possibility of it glitching ?
I know they can look at fault logs and see if it shows up anything?
Between us we have 3 bt hub set ups with Apple TV and all are encountering the same issue?
    A bit coincidental?

A few days ago our Apple TV kept stopping playing music after about 5-10 minutes, and we get the message to turn on home sharing, but it's already on.  Any ideas on what to do?

  • How do I tell Apple Watch that I stand all day?

How do I tell Apple Watch that I stand all day? I use a standing computer station and Apple Watch keeps telling me I need to stand. I don't really care about the notifications reminding me to stand, but if it's doing that, then it doesn't seem to me that it's reflection the fact that I'm standing constantly. I don't think the activity level, concerning time standing, is being correctly recorded and reported.

on the Apple watch app on the Iphone under Activity you can turn Stand Reminders off

  • Apple Watch Disconnecting

    Hey guys,
So I woke up today, checked my Apple Watch and it had been 'disconnected' from my iPhone. I couldn't figure out a way to re-connect. I tried to reboot and hard reset both my iPhone and Watch but didn't do anything. I tried un-pairing the Watch from my iPhone but then couldn't re-pair. I also looked through the Apple Watch App on my iPhone and through settings on the Watch but couldn't find anything to re-connect them.
I ended up resetting the whole Watch, which meant I had to pair it all again and restore it from a backup. I was wondering if anyone knew how to re-connect them if they do ever disconnect again?
    Thanks.

I am having the exact same problem.  I spoke with tech support but the support person was unable to resolve the problem during a one hour phone call.  I ended up pushing the reset on the watch and this worked.  This is not something I want to keep doing.  I had to reload credit cards into Apple Pay, re install several apps, etc.  even though I used the available back up choice.  Since the watch is still new, this wasn't a major problem, but now two days later, the watch has disconnected again from the iPhone.  There appears to be no other way to reconnect.  The manual option does not work because  there is no way to get the watch to the pairing screen without doing the reset.  I tried the other suggestions: turning on Airplane Mode then off again.  No results.  I will probably have to contact Tech support again today.

  • My iPad WiFi Almost Every Day Keeps Disconnecting, especially if I am watching a video online. How do I fix this?

My iPad WiFi Almost Every Day Keeps Disconnecting, especially if I am watching a video online. How do I fix this?

    Howdy Danny_98,
Here is a great article to help troubleshoot wifi connectivity with your iOS device. Named iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections it can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398.
Be sure that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again. If unable to do so, see this article.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and indicate that they are connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or ISP for assistance.
    Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you are connected. Then tap > and Forget this Network. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network again.
Note: You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your desired network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and then on again2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2.For AirPort Base Stations, see this article for information about firmware updates.
Those are the basic troubleshooting steps and there is another section toward the bottom named Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected that is very relevant as well.

  • Has anyone found bluetooth headphones that successfully pair with Apple Watch (not Beats)

I've been trying to pair the Apple Watch with a few different bluetooth headphones including LG and Kinivo without success. Not really interested in buying another set of bluetooth headphones or dropping $200 on them. Any one have success pairing Apple Watch with any bluetooth device?

I have the Jaybird Bluebuds X and while I did get them to pair with the Watch, it required me to tell my iPhone 6 to forget the device. Normally I have it paired in Bluetooth settings to both my iPad Mini and iPhone, and while it attempt to pair with the last paired device, just going into Bluetooth Settings  and tapping connect will switch device.
But apparently that won't work with the Watch - as I said I had to tell the iPhone to forget this device first.
But what annoyed me even more was after getting it to pair with the Watch, when I attempted to play music using the Glances music app, the music played through the iPhone speaker. Sort of understand this as I don't have any music synced to my Watch and generally have the Bluebuds paired directly to the iPhone.
Not sure if I did something wrong - might get around to playing around with it again.

    Greetings,
I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
    Good Luck - Cheers,
    M.

My swr50 keeps disconnecting from my motoG phone. I haven't figured out the circumstances for this...it seems random...I realise that I haven't had any notifications for a while, and none of the "OK Google" stuff works. My phone app says that it's connected, but it clearly ain't!
