AppleID tied to an old email address that is no longer valid-causes endless notifications window on new iphone
I have two Apple ID's that are causing problems on my new 6+, one of these A ID causes window after window asking for the password. The A ID is linked to the e-mail address that has been deleted and no longer exists. So if I try to use the retrieve Password feature (for the life of me I forgot the Password), the only option is that Apple wants to send an e-mail in order to reset the original password. But that is impossible, the address does not exist.
The other Apple ID was also setup and associates with the same deleted e-mail. I basicly have an iCloud ID& password, and an alternate iCloud ID & Password
PLUS a Apple ID and password that was for the Apple Store
How do I get rid of these unwanted NON LISTED Apple IDs?
here are several links

How do I change my Icloud ID on my Iphone to match my ICloud ID on my IMac computer? My phone has an old email address that is no longer in use. I have a new email address that I have used as my ICloud ID ( Apple ID ) on my IMac. I want to be able to send photos from my Imac to my Icloud account and see view them with my Iphone. Can you help me ?? Thanks
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
When you do this, you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this happens, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -
I have an icloud account but i need to change the user id for it as its an old email address that i no longer have access to. This is different from my apple id.
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
Note: this will only work if the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID). -

How do I get my phone to recognize my updated email address and how do I now change the iPhone 4 to recognize the new address? I wish to delete all reference to the old address. All help would be appreciated.

TS4036 Accessing iCloud account from old email address that's no longer active
HELP! My iPhone 5 screen died and Apple cannot repair it. The phone still works and it is under warranty but I am having difficulty getting my calendar, notes and contact info. I was able to download the pictures on to my PC at home using iTunes but not the data. When I go to iCloud I get a message telling me to go to a message sent to the original email account used when I purchased my first apple product (laptop) but I no longer have access to that email account. I have set up other iCloud accounts since then but seem to going in circles trying to find this very important data. Before I return the damaged phone for replacement I want to make sure I have exhausted every resource. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I can't play music purchased with my old Email address on my new nano. Itunes continually refers me back to the old non existent address.
Use Safari and you will probably not have the same problem.

I am trying to reset my apple id -- my iphone defaults to an apple id that is not valid any more. I have tried to reset my apple id using my computer -- and that seems to work but my iphone still default to the old apple id and when I try to reset my primary email on the apple website, it will not accept it and tells me that my old email address is verified -- but it is no longer valid. What can I do?

I no longer have my Comcast account how do I get all my old iTunes Facebook etc from my old email to my new phone and centurylink email account
[email protected] when I no longer have the password to the Comcast accountI really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.

How do I remove an email address that is no longer vaild for the iTunes Store or my iPhone? A really old email address keeps popping up on my iPhone, the email address is not valid and I have no idea what the password was. It's been over two years.
Hello tcnolen1,
It sounds like you are trying to change the Apple ID logged into the iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone. Use these steps:
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.

I have an old shuffle that I still use with many songs. I created this account with an old email address that I no longer have. Is there any way to transfer these songs to my new account so I may purchase more songs and still use my shuffle? Thank you!
Basically, no, but as long as all the music is in the same iTunes library and it doesn't contain protected content from more than five Apple IDs, you don't need to. If desired, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.
