Applet behaves differently on different systems!

We provide virtual tours using applets. A particular customer of mine complains that her VT spins really fast uncontrollably. I tried running the applet on my system, and it works just fine, so I know it isn't a problem with the applet. I'm guessing it's System/OS/browser related. What are her options?

You'll probably need to hire a programmer to fix whatever it is. Possibly the person/company that furnished the applet will fix it.

    They can be connected

    Make sure that you have unique consumer entries for Middleware for Material replication, RFCs etc
    Question 3: Does each SRM client need it own unique transaction document type(s) and number range(s) definitions?
    Yes you need to have them.
    Question 4: Are there any other difficulties, for example, with RFC and Partner Profile related definitions and what are the steps to address/resolve difficulties?
    Don't see any difficulties as long as the a structured approach is followed.

  • Loading two different SAP BW system from one SAP R/3

    Hi all,
    is it possible to load the data from one SAP R/3 4.7 to two different SAP BW systems in parallel?:
    A) BW 2.1C
    B) BW 3.5
    I mean not because R/3 has for example version of R/3 Plug-In which is compatible only to one R/3 Plug-In installed on BW side.
    Are there any other restrictions? Ar there any workarounds how to hande this situation?

    I think you shouldn't have any problem!
    Look at OSS Note 775568 'Two and more BW systems against one OLTP system' to have more details...
    "R/3 has for example version of R/3 Plug-In which is compatible only to one R/3 Plug-In installed on BW side"...what's your plug-in version in R/3 ? I can't understand what do you mean with "R/3 Plug-In installed on BW side" !!!

  • Communicate with different R/3 Systems

    Hi, SDN W/F expert.!
    I have some question about SAP W/F.
    We have two SAP R/3 systems to share a work flow each others.
    In that case, Is it possible to implement this kinds of W/F?
    If one employee requests something to be accepted from a boss,
    the man only accept the document. but the boss is a SAP user in another R/3 system.
    How can I solve these problems???

          As I understand from ur requirement. in One system the employee is creating a request and the request will be reviewed ( and acted upon) by the boss in system 2 . If this is the situation then I would suggest in request transaction u do a RFC call to SWE_CREATE_EVENT providing it the destination of system 2. By this as soon as the request is created in System1 it will trigger a WF in system 2. (ofcourse the WF will be developed in system 2)  U can find the destination in transaction SM59. Similarly the Boss' action might be captured via a different workflow in system 1 .

  • Booting different Mac operating systems.

    In the Windows world, the user can set up a computer to allow the selection of different operating system versions, such as Win98, WinXP, WinVista, to be chosen at startup.
    Can this be done with Leopard, or possibly Snow Leopard? I'd like to upgrade, yet keep the existing system installed. I am not referring to using an emulator like Parallels Desktop, I'm already doing that.
    One of the things that's the most frustrating to me is the different terminology used. Took me awhile to figure out that Airport is wireless networking, and today I discovered that Automator appears to be a macro recorder. Yet I've got a friend who could never figure out the other terms but the Mac terms make perfect sense to her!! Go figure!!! LOL
    And before someone suggests it, I bought a Leopard book last spring when I bought this Mac, but a summer job I took involved 10-12 hour workdays and I just haven't had the time or energy to get it read.

    Supported different Mac operating systems (and unix-like Linux for Mac) can be
    booted in the same computer; in order for multiple Mac OS X systems to work,
    they need to be in their own partition so as to not mix up their differences, and
    applications that may work well in one may not do so well in another. So, each
    OSX has its own Applications and other folders, in their own home partitions.
    Snow Leopard 10.6.x is intended for Intel-based Macs; Leopard 10.5.x is the
    last version supporting PPC-based Macs. Some PPC Macs did not like 10.5.
    You could probably use a bootable externally enclosed hard disk drive to have
    additional system(s) available for the computer, instead of reformatting the HD
    & partitioning it for several systems. The OEM drive may be too small for more
    than one OS installed, depending on the uses expected and storage demands.
    Computers that can't support the latest OS X 10.6.x won't, and they can't use
    an older OS X than the one they shipped with, the exact as-shipped version.
    Some models can run several OSs including variants of Linux or unix for Mac,
    and select supported OS X versions; plus older Macs running dualboot OS9/X.

    & other hardware, so that may be of help to read about each model in question.

    Technical Systems are of following types:
    Technical systems are application systems that are installed in your system landscape. An example of an application system is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) server. In the SLD, there are five types of technical systems:
    1.)WEBas java,
    2.)Standalone JAVA
    3.)Third party
    4.)Web as ABAP
    1) Web AS Java
    Web AS Java systems consist of one or more instances and each instance is installed on a separate host. An instance itself consists of cluster nodes that can communicate with each other.
    2.)Standalone Java
    Standalone Java technical systems are standalone Java applications that are installed in a computer system from an administration perspective. They can also be installed as an operating system service or as a daemon
    Web AS java belongs to the NetWeaver Comes with both ABAP and Java, Standalone instread comes separate from the netWeaver.
    3) Third party technical sytem
    It can be any of the technical sytem. let us say if you want to send a file to R/3, here the file reside in your local system. for that you can define your local system as a third party technical system.
    All those machines that comes under non sap, belongs to the third party.
    4.) Web AS ABAP technical systems, ranging from any SAP system to an APO server or CRM server, are based on the same Basis Component (BC), which includes the ABAP interpreter, ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Workbench, and so on. A dedicated database, which stores most of the data of the BC and the application components, is associated with the system.

  • Can't install TCS4 on two different XP SP3 systems

    I can't install the TCS4 trial version on two different XP SP3 systems. Adobe has no solution to this problem. The Installer says "System Requirements" as error message after selection of the different applications. Then I get the link to the Adobe TCS homepage. Any idea?

  • Add-On behaves strange on different clients !

    I created an add-on and tested it on a "Windows 2000 server" installed client and works perfect. It also works on a client with XP Pro Turkish SP2, .Net 1.1
    BUT it behaves strange on different clients e.g
    Client 1  (XP Pro Turkish, .Net 1.1)
    +*Add-on setup screen appears, installation ends succesfully
    *Files are copied in Sap Manage/Sap Business One/AddOns folder.+
    But
    1- The green status bar confirmation doesn't appear .
    2- Add-on isn't listed under Add-On Manager menu point.
    So I can't run the add-on anyhow, even it's configured as automatic.
    Client 2 (XP Pro English SP2, .Net 1.1)
    +*Add-on setup screen appears, installation ends succesfully
    *Files are copied in Sap Manage/Sap Business One/AddOns folder.
    *The green confirmation appears in status bar.
    *Add-on is listed under Add-On Manager menu point and I can start the add-on.+
    BUT the add-on doesn't work , I mean it doesn't do what it should normally do, e.g. add 2 submenus in main menu, etc.
    For all these add-on installations I use the same Add-On setup ard and exe files.
    Any help/tip would be greatly appreciated,

    We have finally succeeded in solving the Menu creation problem.
    I hope you have the same issue as we, so I will be able to help you.
    Just to make sure...
    We have developed an add-on composed of some menues and after installing it, we noticed that in some stations, the menu was not creaed, though the add-on showed that It was connected.
    Actually the problem is that the application doesnt succeed in connecting to the DI.
    our "add menu" method was called after calling to "company.connect()"
    whice was stuck during the try to connect to the company.
    thus- it never arrived to the "add menu"
    What you should do is, go to a working client:
    1. start --> ran
    2. %temp%
    you will find there a directory called: SM_OBS_DLL
    copy it, and replace it with stations that dont work.
    3. It should solve the problem.

  • Smartforms output different in two systems

    Hi Gurus,
    I've a smartform in Q and Prd. Versions are same but the font and style look different in both systems. In Q, the form is in bold, but not in Prd. Is it related to printer settings? What to check in SPAD? Both systems use LOCL printer. I also noticed the device type in SPAD is different. Does it impact the font?

         1) If you have used smartstyle for font, check if it is transported to PRD. It may still be in QAS.
         2) Get the smartform backup from PRD and upload it in DVT and transport to QAS.
         Now check the output in QAS.

  • Thread is behaving differently on different machines??

    I am developing a Java Swing application, which launches an external exe.
    Then I am using a Thread to monitor whether the launched exe is running or terminated abruptly by using its PID. If it terminates then the thread shows a msg box.
    Everything works fine in my machine and in few other machines.
    But the same thread stop abruptly on some other machines... and displays the msg box even though the exe is running correctly.
    And I heard thread behaves differently on different CPUs'.
    How to handle this situation??
    Please help.

    I'm not sure if this matters, but it appears that you are calling Swing methods off of the EDT beginning with "progressBar.setValue(0);". What happens if you wrap those calls in a Runnable and call them with SwingUtilities.invokeLater(...)?

  • Vendor Name Appearing Different for Different Line Items in FBL1N

    I am executing FBL1N and changing the layout to include the Vendor Name in the line items. But when the line items are appearing, the Vendor Name is appearing different for different documents. I wish to see from where the system is picking up the name, so that I can rectify this. But since the layout is being changed after the report is executed, the debug window is taking me in this. Can someone help me please how to debug so that I can see from where the name is coming?

    Not possible. HTML page rendering is dynamic and it's normal that it looks different at different screen resolutions, in different browsers, different operating systems.... . If you must have a certain paragraph or line of text in view, use anchors in the code to jump to them immediately.

    Create a DIV element and define its position to be fixed or static. Please check the help or some reference site on teh internet for CSS style definitions and attributes.

    Are you using web safe fonts?  If you are not, then different browsers can render the text differently. There is no need for you to upload any fonts.
    The problem arises too, if someone hasn't got a font that you may have used, their computer will use the default font in their browser.

    Scenario:   same project build on different machines. and then both the  application executed on
    same machine .. giving  slightly different results..(like 23.07499   to 23.07500)
    project involves many float operations.  project build on vs2013. c++
    there is difference oberved in the final value of float calculations..  like 23.07499   to 23.07500
    seems , Same float code compiled differently on different machines,  any input

    Do you get consistent results with the same executable each time you
    run it?
    Assuming you do, and the only difference is the EXEs, what's the
    difference between them - there must be something. Have a look at "How
    to compare binary images of the same project builds"

    any light onto the issue.
