Hi friends ,Not to put too fine a point on it, but while I am not your enemy, I am also not your friend. We are just two developers with a common interest in Java. Salutations such as 'Hi!', 'Hello' or 'Hi Friends' are generally not considered necessary in a technical forum - so I recommend you leave them out entirely.
With JRE 1.5 versions ,how we can solve the applet resize related issues?Perhaps I did not express this clearly in my first reply, but you seem rather naive about applet/browser interaction. Something that works in Java version 1.5 on one browser, might not work in another browser running 1.5, or it might not work in a different version of the same browser (also using Java 1.5).
For that reason, I am sceptical of your claim that it 'works in 1.5'. Sure, it might work for the particular flavor of browser/OS you are testing in, but what about the other browsers on different systems?
If you can assure me that users are all using version n.n.n of browser X on OS Y, the claim that it 'works in 1.5' makes more sense.
Is your application strictly limited to one set of the constraints mentioned above?
..It will get fixed with JRE 1.6.But we are not allowed to use that 1.6 version. If any body already found any work wround SP.What does SP mean? As to a 'work-around', I suggested one in my initial reply. Launch the applet using Java Web Start.
Now, be warned that I am very close to abandoning this thread. One of the main reasons is that I get the impression that I am failing to communicate important things to you, and am therefore wasting my time and yours. One of the things that gives me the 'failing to get the point across' impression is that I asked you two specific questions in my first reply, and got no answers to those questions. Again, they were..

Where is your applet? I expect answers to them. If you do not understand the questions, mention what you do not understand and I will try to reword it or otherwise explain, but please do not ignore them.
Before I consider making any more posts to this thread, I expect to see answers not only to the two questions from the first post, but also each of the questions added in this reply.

  • A white patch has appeared on my Sony Bravia LCD TV.

A white patch has appeared on my Sony Bravia LCD TV. The patch is slowly growing in size and obstructing the picture. Unable to see what is under the patch. Does this forum also involve customer care?  We bought the TV almost 3 years back. Not sure if the international warranty that I got still exists. Need to check. Appreciate help. Cheers!

I am having the same issue. My LCD's model is KLV-32BX300. I bought that TV 4 years back. The TV was working fine before that issue. The amazing thing is that the patch was initially a small spot and it size got increased within 2 days even the TV was powered off. Please help...

  • Black or White patches on Photoshop images

I use Photoshop CC on a new iMac.  Recently my images have been randomly filling with black or white at varying zoom levels. Or they have rectangular black or white patches on one corner/side.  If I zoom in or out these fills/patches will disappear at some levels and reappear at others.  Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to rectify the problem?  Shutting down PS and/or re-booting the computer usually deals with the current issue, but then the problem reappears on another image at a later stage.  It's happening frequently enough to be very annoying!

Google updated the plugins recently to correct this problem:
    https://support.google.com/nikcollection/answer/4400822?hl=en&ref_topic=3001406
Version 1.109 (December 11/2013) is the latest:
Fixed black or white tile artifacts that might have occurred after returning to Photoshop from plug-ins
You can find out the version you have installed by launching Photoshop:
On Mac: Select Photoshop>About Plug-in>Analog Efex Pro… (or any other NIK Plug-in)
On Windows: Select Help>About Plug-in>Analog Efex Pro… (or any other NIK Plug-in)

  • Mountain lion finder window white patches

This is difficult to describe, I'll try and do a screen grab next time it happens, but simply, occasionally, when I wake up my iMac there are big areas of random white patches on the desktop ... it's totally corrupt and I have to bring up the 'Force Quit' dialogue and 'Relainch' finder which clears it so no big deal - I'm more concerned that it might be pointing to a more profound problem.
    Best Roger

OK I couldn't get a screen grab (well the phenominon didn't appear in the grab) but here's a photograph, it is a small area of white in the top corner of the screen, often it takes more of the space in random rectangular 'patches' ... any thoughts welcome.

  • Appearence of white patches when application is launched by Acrobat 8.0

    Hi All,
When I launch an application(scanner) from acrobat 8.0(createPDF->From Scanner) I can see some white patches on the application but this doesn't happens when scanner is launched as standalone application.
Can any one faced this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

You print to the Adobe PDF printer using the PDF Port. That is how AcroTray notes the file that is produced and starts Distiller. Printing to file with the Adobe PDF printer and then opening in Distiller is the base line of PDF creation that all other methods depend on. If this one does not work, then you have a problem. If you can print to file, then open the file in Distiller to get a PDF, then it is typically AcroTray that is the problem. Sometimes you have to kill AcroTray and then restart it.
It sounds like you may need to do a repair on the Acrobat installation. That is done from the control panel. In XP it is in the Add-Remove Programs. It was moved to another icon name in VISTA. It seems MS and Adobe both like to move things around and rename them!
You say you get an error when you check the print-to-file button, or at least that is what I think you said. Is that correct, or were you able to get a PDF with Distiller? Some folks have also found the need to do a repair after a Windows update. You might also want to look at the subversion you have. AA8 is up to either 8.1.7 or 8.2. You can check in the help file and then download any updates from Adobe.com>downloads>updates>Windows Acrobat. Be sure you install any updates in order, they are no cummulative unless it specifically says so.

  • White screen issue on Compag

My Compaq is currently displaying only a white screen. The laptop boots up fine and displays fine on an external monitor.
I have taken it apart and reseated the connectors on both the screen and the motherboard with no effect. So I am sure it's not a loose connection.
Before I go and splash out on a new replacement screen, is this an issue that is usually seen when the screen itself is at fault. Could it be the cable? or the connection on the motherboard itself. Is there a way to be certain?
I don't want to buy a new screen and find it's not at fault.
    Many thanks!

    Hello, @Skyfox
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you have a white screen issue with the notebook. I will try to assist you.
With the steps you've taken and the fact it works correctly with an external, leaves only the display screen as the possible cause. That being said, there is no 100% way to know that it is not a cable causing the issue.
    Typical steps for this issue:
    Restart notebook
    Hard reset notebook
    Test with external monitor
Reconnect LCD cables and check all other display cables
    Have notebook serviced.
You're at the point of service. This really limits the options, and a display replacement may not correct the issue.
I hope this adds any insight to the choice you need to make next.
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

  • White patches appearing on the screen after some time

I have bought an iMac recently. And for some days white patches like something occurring on my screen after sometime when I opens it. And the patches are there after closing it till sometime. So what can i do now? PLEASE help me .

That sounds like condensation forming between the display and front glass panel.
If you live in an area with high humidity, then might help to run a fan or dehumidifier to help reduce the moisture in the air.
It also might help to leave the iMac on and running for a day or so to compleatly dry out the trapped moisture.
If those steps do not help, then you may want to take the iMac to your local Apple Store or AASP and have them clean between the display and front glass panel.

  • Ongoing White Balance issue

In a video I just shot there is a slight shift in exposure in the image - just when my subject moves a couple times. It is shot with a white background and she is wearing black. I think this is a white balance issue. Which filters or fixes are best for this? I have tried a few filters and they mostly do it but you can still see the couple times my subject moves and the light/exposure changes. I realize that I need to film it better, but can it be fixed. Thanks for any insights.

Search for "flicker fixer premiere pro".  I don't use any of them so you will have to see what works best for you.
You can use the Fast Color corrector in PP to change exposure.  You will have to make key frames.  If you're not sure how to use key frames and how to use the Fast Color corrector it's time to open the manual.

  • White patches on screen.

From last few days i can see white patches on my mobile screen. They are spread almost everywhere on the screen.
I want to get rid of those patches.
What should i do. I use xperia z2

    Hi shashwat315.
Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
If you have a screen protector on the screen, try removing it and see if the white disappears, if however this does not help, then you are likely looking at hardware, in this case you would be best contact Sony Mobile Customer Care to advise.

  • White patch

This morning, I opened my Macbook and there was a white spot where the screen just
appeared to stop at. It has been getting bigger all day, especially when I try to adjust the screen tilt. Now, it encompasses about the bottom right quarter of the display. It almost looks like an index card (white with vertical blue and pinkish/red stripes.) There is no display where the screen starts. I am using a white 13" 2007 macbook that is running on Leopard 10.5.5. I am not in a position to go to an apple store currently, so what should I do and what is up with my screen.

I am having the same problem on my 21" Cinema Display but my white patch is in the top right hand corner which is quite big about 4cm and now one is starting in the right top corner which is small. My daughters boyfriend who knows a bit about mac computers said it seems to be a heat problem and because it is still under warranty to take it back to the store I purchased it from which I am going to do, I will let you know what they say. The screen has not been exposed to constant sunlight. I will keep you posted.

  • Creative Zen X-fi (with lan) white screen issues

?Hello everyone, So I've been having my zen x-fi for a few months and it has been working excellently...until yesterday when it suddently (after what might have been a lightly hit, I had it in my front pocket and bumped in lightly into some object)...well suddently the screen went white but kind of still something black there (see photo below) <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/666/dscf2249redigerad.jpg"]http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/666/dscf2249redigerad.jpg[/url] I have been looking into troubleshooting about this particular issue, but what is suggested there under the white screen-issue is to reset and update firmware, something I did already first thing after it happened. The thing is that other than the screen being a quaking mess, it seems to otherwise be in working condition, because when I turn it on and push the play button music will still play as before. it's just the screen that is the problem. Any ideas? Best wishes, Babba

Hello there, thank you for your welcome. That is sad info about my music player though, I liked it so much while it was still working. unfortunately im not within the warrant period so I will have to invest in a new one. thank you for your help though. I will look into which creative player is the best one within my price range

  • Iphone4 white antenna issues

I bought iphone4 white, antenna issues are still there and i was advised to buy case. Is it very common problem

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4389
Already been there/done that before coming here.
The issue, if the iphone4 is held in the palm, the reception drops to nothing.
Out of palm, back to 4 lines 3G. In palm, nothing. Out of palm, 3G.
And so on and so on...
Assuming the antenna is the metal strip along the edge,
holding the phone is affecting the antenna/reception.
As far as apple express lane support...
Had them call me (land line), apple express rep took phone info, took my tele # in case we were disconnected, put me on hold to look up some guidance, 5 minutes later while on hold connection lost
    followed by a busy signal.
Hung-up, waited for a callback (i.e. in case we were disconnected), nothing...
No callback. No return call. And they had my #.
So I'll wait and try monday when possibly better informed techs are on call (hopefully).
Or wait for more customers of this new "white" iphone4 to discover the issue,
and take the rant national, as was the case with the black iphone4.
Or maybe I'll just take advantage of AT&T's 30-day return policy and switch to the samsung android.
    We will see...
