Appletv cant log in to icloud, cant get past terms and conditions

I have spent god knows how many hours trying to log into icloud on my appletv. I can do that on all other devices but not apple tv. I have made sure that the region is correct, i have reset and restored and wasted a whole christmas day trying to get this bloody box working
So much for apple's mantra of works like magic!!!!
I can log into my itunes account on my apple tv! I can log into my homesharing on my appletv, so why the **** not into icloud???
Everything works till i get to Terms and conditions. i can agree till i am blue in the face but NADA.

Hello r-engineer,
Given the iPhone is not getting past the Terms and Conditions prompt I'm wondering if it is having issues connecting to the update servers.
As suggested in this article, try restarting the iPhone, try a different network, then try with iTunes.

How do I get past terms and conditions on my iphone 4?

    Hey melba ann,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are having issues accepting the Terms & Conditions. If you have not already done so, you may want to restart your iPhone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

You may also want to make sure cookies are not blocked and private browsing is turned off in Settings > Safari (you can also take this opportunity to Clear Cookies and Data):

  • Get past terms and conditions page when updating to iOS 7

i can't get past terms and conditions screen after updating to iOS 7.  I have agreed to Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy an software license agreement, but there is no next option

I am using a PC.  Do I have to download Safari for it to properly operate now?

  • Ios 8.1.2 install does not get past terms and conditions

I have a new iPhone 6 Plus and have been able to get it successfully get to updating to iOS 8.1 but after that, I can never get it to get past the 8.1.1 or the 8.1.2 update terms and conditions. I agree with the first screen and then it has the pop-up second smaller question, I agree to that and then the first screen just stays locked in view. If I touch on the first agree highlighted text again it fades on and off but never changes.
Would trying to do the update via iTunes solve this problem or is there something else I can reset on the iPhone 6 Plus itself to not have to do so?
Please advise. There are some corrections made by Apple in 8.1.2 that I really need and my 128GB model depends upon!
    Take care,
    Robert

    Hey r-engineer,
That definitely sounds frustrating! If you haven’t already done so, let’s try restarting/resetting your device when the Terms & Conditions are unresponsive:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559
If the issue persists, let’s definitely go with your next idea to restore the device with iTunes:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

  • IOS 6 now can't get past Terms and Conditions

I downloaded ios 6 for my iphone 4, it had an error and deleted everything on my iphone. I reloaded all my music, apps, etc. but my contacts were also deleted. I tried Verizon ZV Contact Transfer which apparently needed an update to work. I tried to update but I get stuck on the, "Terms and Conditions" acceptance page in iTunes. I can click the, "I have read and agree..." box and I can click, "Agree" but then it just reloads the, "Terms and Conditions" page again and again. I tried deleting the app and tried to redownload it but I get stuck on the same page, same problem. This is terribly frustrating and I am desperate to get my contacts back! Any help would be enourmously appreciated!

Other people have been posting the same problem, but it appears to be working ok for me here in the UK (I've downloaded an app update and a new app), so it may now be fixed

  • Get past terms and conditions screen

I installed Yosemite on my Mabbook retina and I was stepping through set up fine. I am now on the Terms and Conditions screen and while my keyboard and cursor are not frozen, neither the Back or Agree buttons are responsive. So essentially I am stuck

I just overcame the problem.  I turned the phone off then back on.  I was taken through several steps again.  This time the install acted appropriately.  We are now up and running!

  • HT4623 Can not get pass Term and Conditions page after upgrade?

Can not get pass the Terms and Conditions page after upgrade?

Restart your phone and if that doesn't help, reboot the device.
Restart the iPhone by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPhone by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the phone start up.

  • TS4425 I tried this on my iPad.  The but did not get any terms and conditions.  Photo stream works fine on the iPad but not on Apple TV.  What do I do?

Followed the instructions but they don't work.  On the iPad I got no new T&Cs and it works fine.  So I have no means to agree the new T&Cs and because of that it does not work on Apple TV.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting  - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
    Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

  • I can't get the Terms and Conditions for iTunes to be emailed to me from my iPhone PLUS there is no "accept" button at the end of the 54 pages listed.  Anyone else having issues?

I just upgraded to 7 and now I can't download any apps, because iTunes says I have to agree with their new terms and conditions.  But there's no place to agree on the page!!  Anyone have a solution?  i tried to press the "email it to me" button, but that won't work either.  Sigh.

Yes me too, tried re setting and enabling changes but no agree button anywhere?

  • How do i get boyond terms and conditions loop I am currently trapped in

I had to do a restore as part of ios7 download and am now trapped in the terms and condition page. No matter how often I 'agree' I cannot exit this page

    Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

  • I download ISO 8.0 onto my IPAD and iCloud term and conditions came up and I agreed to the terms and conditions however when I hit agree nothing happens the terms and conditions is till there.

How do i get the terms and conditions off my screen after ISO 8.0 was installed on my IPAD nothing happens when I hit agree

Frankly this is the blunderbuss solution but her's what I did. For me, the iCloud account in question with the continual pop-ups was nothing more than an empty shell used to allow me (and others) to track my phone via Find My iPhone.  So, the ID / indentity itself was not essential, the ID could have been jobs1234@icloud for all I cared. I ended up "killing" my then existing iCloud account by deleting it from all devices.  Then I created a new iCloud account and reset the ID into all the relevant devices / users that needed it.  Granted, I had nothing to loose, so to speak, by losing the old iCloud account.  But, I was willing to take that trade.  Admittedly, if you're iCloud account is more central to your life or distributed to others, this is an impossibility.  But, it worked for me.
