AppleTV MLB.TV Invalid User Credentials Question

I am trying to log in to my mlb.tv account on appleTV and I'm getting an Invalid User Credentials message with a "identification error on identity point of type fingerprint" submessage.
I went to the support forums on mlb.com and the moderator there was of no help and told me to go to apple.  Does anyone here know what "identification error on identity point of type fingerprint" means?
My software is up to date (5.2) and I also have not had any issues logging in on my iPhone or iPad.

I was able to resolve this by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
I had to log back in to all my services, which was a bit of a pain, but MLB is working again.  Go Rockies.

  • MDT user credentials error: Invalid credentials: The network path was not found

    I have DELL E5400 and DELL Optiplex 760 pc. In the before, DELL630 is working with my MDT service, but now, DELL E5400 and DELL Optiplex 760 not working with my MDT.
    When PE loaded and go to User Credentials interface, I input the user name and password(I confirm the user name and password is correct), it will display error message "Invalid credentials: The network path was not found". I checked that the network driver is correct.
    After search some information in the website, someone said that maybe the network initializing timeout issue, so I according to Tim Quan guide to add following to startnet.cmd
    wpeutil InitializeNetwork
    ping localhost
    wpeinit
    Then I update the deploy location in MDT and then re-loaded it again, but unlucky, I still meet the same issue. I tried to use ipconfig /all command to check the network status, I couldn't find out local network connection. I click "Cancel" to check the error message, it will display"A connection to the deployment share could not be made. The deployment will not proceed. DHCP lease was not obtained for any networking device!Possible cause: check physical connection".
    It seems that PE not loaded network driver successfully, but it is very strange that the network driver is correct.
    Have someone can help me?
    Thanks a lot

  • AccessEnforcer(User credentials invalid)

    Hi all,
    i can't able to logon to AE,after enetering username and password it is showing that user credentials invalid. I tried to change the Password by logging as a Administrator even so it is showing the same message .
    I don't understand y suddenly it is showing this message.
    Kindly do the needful.
    Thanks & Regards

    Did you set the UME password for this user?
    Then you need to change the initial password in another UME application first. This is because AE has its own logon screen which does not support password changes.
    Try logging on at http://<server:port>/useradmin and authenticate there. Once you have reset the password, you can logon to AE.
    Also, check if the user is locked and/or the end date expired.
    Regards,
    Daniela

  • SSO + OBIEE + Impersonation :: Invalid user/password

    I am running the following setup:
    OBIEE
    Oracle Business Intelligence Product Version 10.1.3.3.2 (Build 071217.1900)
    Physical Presentation Catalog Path /apps/installs/OracleBIData/web/catalog/paint/root
    Oracle BI Server Data Source AnalyticsWeb
    Analytics WebApp
    Turned off OC4J, and deployed Analytics.war file on its own Apache-Tomcat instance
    The Tomcat instance listens on port 9090
    Siteminder (SSO) / Proxy Tier
    I am running an Apache Web Server instance protected by CA Siteminder's SSO policy
    AWS is listening on port 80, and acting as a proxy to redirect requests for Analytics.
    Example:
    Tomcat Analytics: http://localhost:9090/analytics/
    AWS: http://localhost:80/obiee/ ==> http://localhost:9090/analytics/
    I am doing testing with the out of the box PAIN repository & set of dashboards. My goal is to:
    1. Protect OBIEE behind SSO
    2. Allow ANY SSO authenticated user to gain access to OBIEE Analytics
    3. Remove OBIEE's own authentication / login screen
    Effectively:
    1. Browse to http://localhost/obiee/
    2. Get redirected to SSO login landing page
    3. Authenticate via SSO
    4. Upon successful SSO authentication, get redirected to the default OBIEE dashboard
    So far, so good. I followed the guide for SSO integration found here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12096_01/books/AnyDeploy/AnyDeploySSO.html
    I've added the necessary entries on my instanceconfig.xml ($ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/config/instanceconfig.xml) as follows
    <Auth>
    <SSO enabled="true">
    <ParamList>
    <Param name="IMPERSONATE" source="httpHeader" nameInSource="eid"/>
    </ParamList>
    </SSO>
    </Auth>
    <CredentialStore>
    <CredentialStorage type="file" path="/apps/installs/OracleBIData/web/config/credentialstore.xml" passphrase="***********"/>
    </CredentialStore>
    I've created an Impersonator user and impersonation alias on my credentialstore.xml file using:
    cryptotools credstore -add -infile $ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/config/credentialstore.xml
    Credential Alias: impersonation
    Username: Impersonator
    Password: ***********
    Do you want to encrypt the password? y/n (y):
    Passphrase for encryption: ***********
    Do you want to write the passphrase to the xml? y/n (n):
    File "<OracleBIData>/web/config/credentialstore.xml" exists. Do you want tooverwrite it? y/n (y):
    I've also added the Impersonator user to the repository using BI Administrator. I opened the respository online and added Impersonator as a user, with the same password I defined when I user cryptotools. I included the Impersonator user on the same groups as the default Administrator (Administrators & XMLP_ADMIN) and subsequently checked my changes back into the server. After everything was done, I bounced presentation and BI servers through:
    $run-sa.sh stop
    $run-saw.sh stop
    $run-sa.sh start
    $run-saw.sh start
    Presentation services starts up fine, BI server starts up fine as well. When I browse to the Apache Web Server site, I get redirected to SSO, I pass my credentials, and the wind up on the /saw.dll?Dashboard URI but I get the following message:
    You are not currently logged in to the Oracle BI Server.
    If you have already logged in, your connection might have timed out, or a communications or server error may have occurred.
    Here are the relevant log entries from $ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/log
    sawlog0.log -I replaced the actual username with <SSOUID>. <SSOUID> is the actual SSO header I need.

    I am at a total loss with this. If I am understanding the OBIEE stack correctly, this would seem to indicate:
    a. The impersonation credentials on the credentialstore.xml file are not being decrypted correctly, or the password actually doesn't match. But I've triple checked this.
    b. The impersonation alias is not being recognized by presentation services.
    I would really appreciate any input here. If I've left out any relevant items, please ask questions and I'll try to be as thorough as possible.
    Thanks in advance!

  • How do you stop BSPs on WebSEAL for asking for user-credentials?

    Hi
    We are currently having an issue with BSP Pages. When we test the BSP pages on the R/3 system they work OK. When we test them directly on the Portal then they too also work. The problem is that they are not working properly on our Intranet.
    The intranet that we use is an IBM Tivoli product (also known as WebSEAL). We currently have WebSEAL SSO to our SAP Portal. This is working OK. When we use WebSEAL to access the portal we are prompted to enter our user-id and password so that the BSP page can be displayed. This should not be happening and it defeats the purpose of SSO. I have attached a screen shot document to demonstate this.
    Some time ago we had a similar issue where the transactions on the portal (when executed from WebSEAL) were giving us a Webdynpro time-out error. I later determined that the cookie information was not being passed to WebSEAL. To fix this, I went to the Visual Administrator and went to server >> services >> web container and for the web container "sap.com/irj" I went to the cookie configuration to add a session cookie. By doing this I fixed my previous problem.
    Coming back to my problem, I had a junction created in WebSEAL to point to the bsp directory (sap/bc/sap/bsp/*) on the host concerned. I had both a SSL and TCP junction created both resulted in error messages - stating that the client (SAP) is asking for user credentials.
    Hoping that I have provided enough information above my question is as follows:
    (1) How can I get the BSP messages to work on WebSEAL such that it will not ask for user credentials to be entered? Would this involve making a further change to a Web Container? If so - which container also needs a session cookie to be generated?
    Thanks
    Kind Regards

    Hi Peter
    I am having an issue with the re-direct and am hoping you might be able to provide a little assistance. If not then not to worry.
    My security department have logged a call with IBM 2 days ago yet have not received any response.
    In your document you mention that you need to have a junction to AS-JAVA and a junction to AS-ABAP.
    We have created the junctions "/sapep" (for AS-JAVA) and "saphr1" (for AS-ABAP).
    The junction /sapep" also contains the junction mapping entries "/irj/" and "/SSOTicket/".
    The direct URL to the hidden image is : https://uadsfi01.auiag.corp:53001/SSOTicket/1x1.gif. I have tested this (using my user id and password) and it works OK.
    When testing the image through TAM (https://test.insideiaghome.iaglimited.net/sapep/SSOTicket/1x1.gif) we get an "unexpected authentication challenge"
    I have reviewed the log below and it seems that we are having an authentication issue with the image:

  • Not able to pass user credentials in a full trust proxy to call web service in Sandbox solution

    Hello,
    I am trying to build a sandbox webpart that calls a windows authenticated webservice to fetch some data. I tried to pass the DefaultCredentials to the webservice proxy but The credentials passed are that of the
    usercodeserviceproxy process ( in my case it is network service) . I  see that the user account trying to authenticate is Domain\machinname$ which is the network service.
    My question is - is there a way to pass the logged in user credentials to the web service from sandbox proxy ?

  • EssBase: Login fails due to invalid login credentials

    I am currently running Hyperion System Planning 9, authenticating users through my LDAP server and am having a problem creating new users. I have gone through what I believe are the steps I need to take and have created my users but now when they try to login to EssBase, through the excel add-in, I get this message: "Login fails due to invalid login credentials"
    I have searched the forums and the Essbase knowledge base and have come up empty. The only thing I have found is this:
    "You just need to provision your shared services user with access to Essbase. Right-click on your user, select provision and then give them the required Essbase rights."
    I have provisioned my users several times and made sure that they are added to the correct groups but they still can't log in.
    Has anyone had this issue before?
    Thanks,
    J

    Another point that you need verify, the service sequence:
    1. Start the analytic Services
    2. Star analytic Administration services.

  • Authentication - "Invalid Login Credentials" ? ? ?

    Hey guys,
    Need some help regarding Log in.
    I have a table in the database (table name USER_SECURITY) which has the list of users who are authorized to log in to the application.
    I have to incorporate this in the application page
    Could you please help me with the logic how to go about it in APEX
    Thank You for your help and suggestions
    Jesh

    Hi,
    I did try the link and it helped me understand alot, [ http://djmein.blogspot.com/2007/07/custom-authentication-authorisation.html]
    and I tried an example as mentioned in Duncan Mein's Blog and it did work, but then when I try to use it in my application and entered the username and password it says *"Invalid Login Credentials".*
    Here's the code I used:
    The table was already created in the database: ASQ_USER_SECURITY
    has four columns: USER_ID, USER_ROLE, USER_NAME, PASSWORD
    Created an Application Security Package
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE app_security_pkg

    END get_hash;
    PROCEDURE valid_user2 (p_username IN VARCHAR2, p_password IN VARCHAR2)

    BEGIN
    SELECT '1'

    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS
    THEN RETURN FALSE;
    END valid_user;
    END app_security_pkg;
    When I tried to Create a Test User it worked and added a record in the database
    exec app_security_pkg.add_user ('RS','E','jesh','goodone')
    Create your own Authentication Scheme
    Authentication Function Section: RETURN APP_SECURITY_PKG.valid_user
    Switch on your Custom Scheme: made it “My Auth Scheme”
    Also Altered the Login Process on Page 101
    app_security_pkg.login (P_UNAME => :P101_USERNAME, P_PASSWORD => :P101_PASSWORD, P_SESSION_ID => v('APP_SESSION'), P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID );
    This is pretty much what was there in the Duncan Mein's Blog
    Thank you for having a look at the code
    Appreciate your help

  • [nQSError: 43126]Authentication failed:invalid user/password, how to avoid?

    Hi,
    I encountered following error: [nQSError: 43126] Authentication failed: invalid user/password.
    when I was starting weblogic server, and server used to shutdown.
    After snooping around on net, came across this blog: http://obiee11gqna.blogspot.com/2011/09/obiee-11g-errors-nqserror-43113.html
    Found that password for MDS & BIPLATFORM was 'expired', was able to solve my problem and my Presentation Services were up & running.
    My question is, how to avoid password of MDS & BIPLATFORM from getting expired in future??
    Regards,
    Jitendra

    Dpka,
    Thanx for the link, it shows the way to avoid expiry of password.
    I also found another link, in comment section which is equally useful: http://www.artofbi.com/index.php/2011/03/mds-or-biplatform-schema-password-change-considerations/
    PS: Thanx to Deva as well for replying to my query.

  • Invalid login credentials when install oracle xe

    Hi friends,
    I installed oracle xe version 10.2.0.1.0 correctly, but when i tried to login to adminstration via
    http://localhost:8080/apex
    with sys or system and the password (which i have given during the /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure)
    It says invalid login credentials
    Please Help me out
    Thanks

    Had same login credentials problem today (and pwd was spelt as it always is). No way was I getting in via frontend or SqlPlus or using any online tip.
    Deinstalled and reinstalled several times according to instructions. Note that ¨/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure¨ doesn´t re-run unless you update ¨/etc/default/oracle-xe¨ file with ¨CONFIGURE_RUN=false¨
    Now I am into a whole host of connection problems and the database service does not start. Any ideas?

  • BizTalk User Credentials, Certificates in transport header

    BizTalk handles user credentials in Enterprise Single Sign on and the certificates are stored in Certificate store. I have been asked a general question, Is it possible that user credentials & certificates in a transport header? I am not exactly
    sure on this.
    Vijay

    You were asked this?  The problem is that the question really doesn't make sense because SSO & the Cert Store and any transport header really have nothing to do with each other.
    Also, in the scope of (assuming) an HTTP/SOAP header, it would be highly unusual to have both user credentials and a Certificate because they both exist, in that context, for authentication.
    So, to clarify, yes, you can have user credentials or a certificate in a header (there's more than one) for authentication.
    The credentials can come from SSO, but don't have to.  The certificate would come from the Cert Store.

  • Invalid login credentials after upgrading to 3.0.1

    I have upgraded our apex2.1 version to 3.0.1. When trying to login for the first time I entered my database user name in the workspace field and enter my database user name and password as per upgrade instructions. However, all I get is the error 'Invalid login credentials'. The upgrade instructions do not mention any additionals action steps that must be taken. Can anyone please advise how to solve this problem.
    Thanks, Richard

    I had the same problem and tried about everything with no success, until ...
    I changed the ADMIN password using the apxxepwd.sql script (can be found in the root of the 3.0.1 apex directory). Run this script under sqlplus as "sys/password as sysdba" and enter twice the ADMIN password when prompted for '&1'. Login on http://localhost:8080/apex/apex_admin, you'll be prompted to change the password. Change the password (may be the same as the old one) and now you can finally login as ADMIN.
    I did this on APEX 3.0.1 on a Oracle EXPRESS 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows Vista, and suppose this must work on other platforms too.
