AppleTV syncs to my PC but after a minute or so it gets timed out
HI, recently purchased appleTV and am having some connectivity issues. I have opened port 3689 for TCP and UDP from my internet provider and redirected these to my IP, and still I am getting timedout of my connection with AppleTV. My AppleTV is connected by ethernet to the network and my PC by WIFI, both have working connections. When I startup iTunes the connection with AppleTV seems to work fine, it even syncs some of my photographs to the AppleTV, but this only lasts for a minute until I am timedout.
Any solutions/suggestions? my next move is to make sure the UDP port 5353 is open as well.
Thank you for your help
By connecting to ethernet and wifi you're creating a network loop back on itself. I've experienced problems like this in the past ... nothing really to do with Apple TV. Try one or the other, WiFi or Ethernet ... assuming you have a wireless router that's hooked up to you high speed modem.

I've tried downloading iOS5 several times and after an hour each time I get a message that says my network connection has timed out. But I can't find any information about "timing out" or how to correct the situation. Any help?
Disable your antivirus and firewall, and try again.

I want to use a FM radio app to Airplay music through my Apple TV (by using the synchronizing function). Works, but after some minutes, the Airplay audio output setting switches back to iPad. Why? Solution?
Why don't use iTunes? Because this just needs to many handling in order to get it where i want it (in general, this whole idea of doing everything online just works likes... ). An app is easier (that's why it is invented).Hey AKfishgirl,
Thanks for the question. The common variable here is your Wi-Fi router. Let’s check to see if the commonly used ports are being blocked by a firewall on your router:

I turn my iMac on and it starts ok but after a minute the monitor goes black
I turn my iMac on and it starts ok but after a minute the monitor goes black, sometimes it comes back on sometimes it stays off, this has only happened since Apple replaced the hard drive.
Then, contact the Apple repair station that did the work.

I downloaded an audio book in iTunes, but after 10 minutes the audio goes silent for the remaining 5 hours - what can I do?
Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that audiobook and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

I'm on 4.2.1 and keep getting timed out (err=.3259) when trying to download 4.3.3. I have tried disabling the firewall and antivirus but still no luck. Any ideas?
I had the same problem! I don't know what caused it, possibly slow Internet but I suppose my antivirus or other software could have affected it. Maybe it's an iTunes problem.
After restarting the download at least 5 times in iTunes after it timed out, I found this website. I didn't know this before, but you can download the update in your browser and then apply it to your iPhone in iTunes once it finishes. I used Firefox 4 and it downloaded without timing out once. All you have to do is hold down Shift and then click on Update in iTunes and it will prompt you to select the update that you downloaded and it will apply it.
Try this and let me know how it works! -

the charging cable now longer fits all the way in the charging port. I can't see if any lint is in there, but if there is how can I get it out?
Go to the Music section of your Library (very top-left corner) and see if your songs are there. The "Purchased" playlist may have been deleted or gotten corrupted, but if that happens it's not a big deal because your music should still be in your main Music Library.
If your music is NOT in the Music section of your Library, then go to the iTunes Store homepage and find the Quick Links list on the right side. At the top of that list, click Purchased and you can redownload all of your previous content that you might have lost. -
