Please help me how I can solve this problem because I dont like other browsers and I am using firefox for years but this problem started few days ago.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
*downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2

    This Connection is Untrusted
    You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
    Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
    What Should I Do?
    If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

    Hello,

    This will help. If not, please let us know.

    What does the following error message mean?
    Cannot listen on pipe name "net.pipe://localhost/Dimples/CalSyncService/' because another pipe endpoint is already listening on that name

    Where do you get this error -- in a web page? in a pop-up dialog?
    One possibility is that a website has a configuration error.
    Another possibility is that an add-on is not properly detecting that it is already running.

  • Get Application Server Name and Version

    Hello All,
    Is it possible to get the Application Server Name and Version using Java?
    To simplify my question, if I am running Weblogic, the jsp page should tell me that I am running Weblogic Version <number> or IBM WebSphere Version <number>.
    Thanks

    I get an error when I put this line in my jsp page:
    out.println(" Server Info: " +getServletContext().getServerInfo());
    Is there something I am missing?
    symbol : method getServletContext ()
    location: class jsp_servlet._jsp._mu.__showmxversion
    out.println(" Server Info: " +getServletContext().getServerInfo()); //[ /jsp/mu/showMXVersion.jsp; Line: 16]

  • Firefox Version 17.0.1 is identifying itself as "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0" and thereby triggers bug-like behavior.

    I am running Firefox Version 17.0.1, yet it's falsely identifying itself as "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0" thereby causing bug-like difficulties at "deviantART" http://layaboutjoe.deviantart.com/ and is even mis-identifying itself here. What can be done to fix this problem? Your helpful advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and best wishes to you. R.S.V.P.

    Thank you very much, '''Tylerdowner'''. Those instructions have solved the problem! The browser is now identifying itself as "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0" and I'm happy.

    You should update to Firefox 4 beta 8 if you want to use the Firefox 4 beta version.
    Do you have that same problem with the regular Firefox 3.6.13 release?<br />
    Do you only get it on a specific website?<br />
    Did you try a [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager new profile]?
    See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Testing_pre-release_versions
    Firefox 4.0 beta releases are a snapshot of the current development stage and meant for testing purposes by experienced users.<br />
    If bugs are found then they can get reported and fixed before the final 4.0 version gets released.<br />
    Not all websites work properly with the Firefox 4 beta versions and nightly builds.<br />
    If you do not have experience with such test releases then it is better to stay with the latest Firefox 3.6.x release.<br />

  • Latest version of Firefox (version 32) can't access web sites. Using Windows 8.1 Compatibility problems?

    Firefox automatically updates to the latest version which is now version 32. I get the following error message: "Firefox can't find the server at us.data.toolbar.yahoo.com" Preceded by "Sever Not Found" This happens on any web site I try to access. Reloading version 31 Firefox works fine, but then it will update itself again.
    Windows 8.1 is my operating system.

    The latest Release is Firefox '''31.0''' as the only way you would get updated to the current Beta build which is Firefox 32.0'''b2''' (b2 = Beta 2 as there can be say six to twelve Betas) build is if you were on the Beta channel due to having installed a Beta build and continued using it since. If the Firefox 31.0 you installed is updating to 32.0b2 then the 31.0 you installed was a Beta build (make sure the file name did not have say 31.0'''b'''# as there were nine Betas) and not the Firefox '''31.0''' Release say from mozilla.org or https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
    The typical reason for a new version (on Windows) not being able to connect after a new major version Firefox update or install is usually due to a software Firewall blocking the new .exe yet it may stll have the previous version allowed.

    I suspect a RAM or hardware problem.

  • "Downloading the latest applications" appears in Firefox, but doesn't stop or disappear.

    I have another kind of problem with Firefox
    == Description
    ==
    When I open Mozilla Firefox, there is a blue/white bar with the words "Downloading the latest applications" in it. A dotted circle keeps spinning. Nothing stops or disappears and there is no listing of what applications are being downloaded. How do I stop this?
    This started this week. The only thing that I did differently before this start was to add a router to my modem and connect them to my computer and laptop.

    The spinning stopped after running my SuperAntispyware...but started up again when I tried to update my extensions on Firefox.
    I think that the problem might be with Adobe and Shockwave. I tried to find updates for my plug-ins and extensions for those programs when prompted by Mozilla Firefox. However, the site I was sent to from Firefox concerning Adobe and Shockwave updates, wasn't helpful.
    I tried installing, but it didn't work. I was prompted to look for instructions on Adobe by clicking on a link that didn't even lead me to anything regarding Mozilla Firefox. Finally, I clicked on the "still having problems" link, or something similar to that. It stored a file under "Downloads," which I opened and installed.
    I was given the message that the installation was successful, but Mozilla Firefox still showed that my Adobe and Shockwave needed to be updated.
    Anyone have any experience with installing Adobe and Shockwave with Mozilla Firefox?

  • I can't install Firefox. Get a message saying "can not open output file" Firefox version 3.6.6

    Firefox stopped working after updating. I uninstalled it and downloaded latest version 3.6.6. Before that 3.6.3.
    When I try to install, I get a message "Extraction Failed.. Can not open output file" . I trie d former versions, all with the same result. I've already ran several antivirus and anti-malware, spyware.. etc.
    Everything else works fine, except for Firefox...

    Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    If you keep having problems then disable your security software (anti-virus) during the download and installation of Firefox.
    You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

  • Firefox is in process but i can't see the window

    Firefox is running in process but not visible on my desk. I can't use it. I think last update of seven is responsible of the bug. Does anynone have this trouble ? My computer have the 3.6.4 version of firefox

    Hi,
    The problem is 3.6.4 version. With 3.6.3 there is no problem !
    I think it's a bug !

  • I can't uninstall Firefox version 11 from my MAC, nor can I upgrade to a more recent version of Firefox.

    I believe that I have a corrupted version of Firefox. I have followed the procedures both for removal and for upgrade that are posted in the support forums, and neither are effective for me.
    I do not have a conventional Firefox icon on my screen, rather I have a grey question mark. When I attempt to deposit that question mark icon in my wastebasket, it just bounces back out.
    When I have tried to upgrade to a more recent version of Firefox (and I've been trying to upgrade with each new iteration of Firefox from version 12 to the current version 32), I receive an error message that I can run only one version of Firefox, and the upgraded version is rejected in favor of version 11.
    Additionally, Firefox version 11 blocks me from adding any other programs onto my Mac. I want to get rid of version 11. How can I do it?

    Dear ideato--Thank you for your suggestion. While I was able to drag a shadow of the Firefox icon from the applications folder to the dock and drop it into the wastebasket, the icon remains in the applications folder and Firefox version 11 is still on my computer blocking every attempt to add a program or to upgrade to the current version of Firefox. The question mark is still on the dock, too. Regards--DavidK126

    Firefox tabs close when I simply click on a tab and windows become unresponsive after I launch a site. I am using the latest version for MacOSX but this happened a couple days ago with an older version of Firefox as well. Is this some kind of bug? How do I fix this bug? Have already tried a bunch of things like clearing/reinstalling etc. This does not help.
