Application Blacklist

hello
I would like to know if a Blacklist application exist for Iphone ?
Thanks

I understand the need for such an app. You can't assume that someone is not paying their bills as a reason to want to block calls.
There was several months when I was getting calls from collection agencys looking for the person who had my phone number before me. Of course to verify that I wasn't that person, they wanted my SS# which I then refused to give. I eventually changed my number. It took a few times of changing it to stop getting someone else's calls but I finally have a good number. My phone should not ring unless it is someone that I am expecting to call me.
To the OP, the iBlacklist app in the iTunes store is a fake and does nothing. The only real iBlacklist is available through other means.

  • Blacklisted calls application

hello.i want to know if it's possible to write an application in j2me,similar to BlackBaller(http://www.killermobile.com/blackballer.html).
it is an application which can block phone calls, sms, and mms from blacklisted phone numbers, and it's for Symbian only.
i looked into j2me documentation and i didn't find anything that could make me believe it can be done in Java.
i may be wrong...i look forward to receive your answers.
    Thank you.

You're not wrong. Doing it can only be done in C++ and with use of the Symbian api's

  • Desktop Sharing and Application Shareing White List BlackList Possible

Does anybody know if its at all possible to Blacklist or whitelist applications into Application sharing, so that users can only share certain ones ?
so in short Application whitelisting, either by 3rd party Apps or but server extension.
    Lync 2013 and 2010
    thanks

Extremely sorry about that, but maybe you don't like users sharing their entire computer; after all, when they do that everyone in the meeting sees everything
that happens on the shared computer, including such things as a Microsoft Outlook "toast" popping up to announce a newly-received email. Because of that, you might prefer to limit users to sharing just a single application; that way, people in the
meeting only see the activities that take place within that application. In that case, just set EnableAppDesktopSharing to SingleApplication:
     Set-CsConferencingPolicy –Identity global –EnableAppDesktopSharing SingleApplication
When you do that, the Desktop option will no longer be available under the Share menu.

  • ISE Blacklist application

My customer is requesting us something I am not very sure is possible.
The request is to avoid employees use the devices provided by the corporation to get internet access through the Wireless Guest Service. Currently the Guest Service is already working and is totally open (no restrictions to any service, page, or whatever). The employees have access to Internet through a separate link with many restrictions, basically they can access only pages and services aproved to be business related (no news, no chatting, no download software, etcetera). The sponsor portal for the guest service will be set to allow any employee (using AD credentials) to create guest accounts for visitors, contractors, suppliers, etc. So the IT management is worried about to avoid the employees to create guest accounts for themselves and avoid all the restrictions they have in the corporate internet access.
The basic idea is to create a blacklist with all the devices provided by the corporation, and set the guest service to deny access if the device used is in the blacklist.
I wonder how can I modify the Authentication process to make the ISE validate the MAC address, before (or after) the guest portal is displayed and the Guest username an password are typed in.
I will apreciate any comment you can give me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your reply.
If I understood correctly, your answer assume the employee's devices are authorized by the ISE. Unfortunately this is not the case (at least no yet). Currently the ISE is working for Guest service only. So I would need to avoid access thorugh a blacklist or modify the network in order to put the ISE into the authentication process for all computers (employees and visitors).
If I do that, I guess I will have a license limitation (current license has only 100 endpoints, while the wireless network has over 600 users all the time).
    Regards.

Actually, yes, it is OS dependent as this feature currently only works
with Windows Mobile. If you're using iOS or Android then just ignore
    this policy setting.

  • Application Control Policy white listing

How do I configure Application Control Policy white listing?
I can only get blacklisting to work.
If I create a policy to block *.exe and then allow all the windows executables it doesn't work.
It looks like wildcards don't work.

    Thanks Brent!
Note: It is possible to combine the Current ZESM product with Windows

  • Why Apple does not provide for call block / blacklist function on iphone?

If Apple frowns upon jailbreaking the iPhone, why not AT THE LEAST endorse and make available third-party application that can provide a decent call block / blacklist function (like the Call Blocker for BlackBerry)?
Can an Apple representative provide feedback pls?
[Most telcos do not provide call-screening as a value-add service. Even if they do, a more cost-effective method is still the better option.]

Have you asked your service provider if they offer any call blocking service? I know here in the USA, AT&T does, although they do charge $4.99/month for the service (it is part of a parental control package that allows control of both numbers that can be blocked from calling you, and numbers that your iPhone can call to).
On-phone black list apps typically work by using caller id info and looking it up against the apps own database of numbers you've entered. So your phone still rings at least once, as the phone needs to allow a brief connection for the app to get the caller id info before disconnecting a number flagged for blocking. There really is no way to truly block calls from the phone itself, you need your service provider to be on board with the idea, so they can dis-allow the call at the switch and truly block it from ever reaching your phone.

Do i need to package my tag handler in a jar file?no.
    If
i put the full qualified uri in the jsp file like
    this
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
    xmlns:bmw="urn:jsptld:/WEB-INF/bmw-taglib.tld"
    version="1.2">
it works perfectly, but i don't want to hard-code my
tld path in the jsp files or in the web.xml.you have two options:
    1. you do not put anything about the taglib into web.xml. then you must use the path to the tld as URI. the path is relative to the root of the application. i think in your case you would have to use "/WEB-INF/bmw-taglib.tld" as URI and not "/test-taglib".
    2. you introduce the taglib in the web.xml and then you are free what URI you use.
The specification in section JSP7.4.3 ("Implict Map
Entries from TLDs") sais, that an <uri> tag in the tld
is sufficient and a corresponding entry in the web.xml
    is generated automatically.yes, option 1.

  • How to blacklist a usb device in BSD?

I am having trouble communicating with a usb device while running Virtualbox on my iMac (Lion).  Virtualbox is virtualization software which lets me run Windows XP as a guest OS.  I am trying to run Palm Desktop for Windows on the virtual computer and I have trouble getting the USB connected Palm device to sync to the Windows application.  It turns out the Palm device's use of the USB protocol is not quite conventional and so the virtual OS has trouble capturing it and presenting it to the Windows application.
Others who run Virtualbox under linux have seen this same problem with Palm devices and have found a workaround by disabling the host linux USB driver so that the Virtualbox application has unfettered access to it.  This process is called "blacklisting" a USB device under linux, and involves editing the "/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf" linux config file.  My question is can I perform a similar operation in MacOS?  The BSD I/O subsystem is different enough from linux to prevent me from knowing where to go in OSX to do a similar modification.

I'm having the same problem.  I can't get OS X to ignore an SPI digital logic device (MCP2210) that I want to run from my Windows XP Virtual Box in order to control an experiment.   Virtual Box sees it but it's grayed out under the list of USB devices to mount in Windows XP, and I don't know how to get the Max OS X to released/unmount/ignore/blacklist it.

  • Blacklist in S40v5? Nokia 6500

Hello, i was wondering if there is an application for S40 platform to blacklist callers? Thank you.

S40 phones only allow Java apps and cannot multitask, so you can't have another application running 'in the background' as you can with smartphones, meaning that it is not possible to do this.

  • Adding Allowed procedure breaks application

My application was working fine. Then I added a custom procedure mypkg.myproc to allowed list of procedure under security tab. Then i could not access my application. It gives error "Requested url http://myserver/apex/f not allowed.
So i added "f" and "wwv_flow_custom_auth_sso*" and i could access the application. But all styling/images are gone and also submitting forms gives error "Requested url http://myserver/apex/wwv_flow not allowed".
So do i have to add all apex packages to the list if i want to add one custom package ? This seems wrong.. am imissing something here.. Please advise.
    Listener version -1.0.2

    Hi,
    1. You need to list the apex packages in APEX Listener for Allowed Procedures, but you don't need the database validation for these packages. You don't need to define the Validation Function if you use the Allowed Procedures in the APEX Listener, you just double the check.
Anyway, as an example, you can easily use the function provided with APEX (wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local in the APEX040000 schema) or see the one given in the Installation and Developers Guide (section "Configuring Security").
    2. No, you can include them in your custom list when needed.
But again: If you plan to use APEX Listener for APEX and you use the Allowed Procedures, you don't need to configure the validation function.
    The idea is:
Allowed Procedures = Whitelist - only the ones in there are allowed (including asterisks)
Blocked Procedures = Blacklist - procedures listed there are not allowed (can be combined with whitelist to exclude selected items from asterisk-inclusion)
These two are executed in that order in the APEX Listener itself.
Database Validation Function = gets the procedurename as parameter and returns boolean as result.
Basically, you'll do the same there as you can do with the APEX Listeners allowed/blocked feature, but you do it in the database. I think this is only relevant if you either run a mixed scenario (i.e., you use the same function for EPG or OHS/mod_plsql) or you want a more complex evaluation, e.g. you put some other environment variables like request IP address or some custom header into that evaluation in order to limit access to certain procedures just to intranet users or something like that.
