Application Catalog Components are Critical... will not return to OK

I am trying to get the Site Status for both ACWP and ACWSP to go back to OK
I have cleared all logs and reset the counts but still show the same Critical Status.
Where else should I look?

I found a similar case with yours. It fixed this issue by editing the database directly. This is not supported by Microsoft. You need to backup your databse or call Microsoft support before applying the steps below.
1. Stopped the SMSEXEC Service
2. Update dbo.summarizer_sitesystem set status = 0 , installationstate=3 where sitecode =’...’ and role = ‘...' 
3. Started the SMSExec. This updated the installationstate value to 3

  • When Adding Report to Dashboard will not return

    When I run a report from answers all is fine, I can view "all pages" no with no issues. When I take the same report and add it to a dashboard, then run the report and view the first page 25 records results are fine. If I try to view "all pages" with the icon at the bottom of the page the report will not return and will stay in a state of "Transferring data from <BI Server Name>"i explorer process just grow in memory size and utilizes about 1GB in memory, but nothing returns.
    When I run the report from answers I get all the records returned in about 10 minutes time. The number of records returned is 28,000. There are 50 columns in the report.
    When I run the query from an SQL tool the response time is less than 20 seconds.

    Hi sophia,
    I suppose the BI server hangs due to lot of records coming up when tried to see with the last page button .We need to handle how many records should be displayed in answers itself.But all is well with your answers screen.Can you look at it by going page by page so is it fetching or not?
    Check what is the SQL generated by BI server when you click last page button

    It might be that you are logged in with HTTP authentication (either basic or digest). This authentication is arranged by the browser, so you would have seen a pop-up dialog asking for a user name and password while logging in. It seems that these are cached by the browser and it requires you to restart the browser to log out...

    Because I found that having to restart the browser quite annoying I stumbled on this question and also on the HTTP Logout add-on that allows you to log out without restarting your browser. Not many sites use HTTP Authentication, but you might give it a try.

    I would like to assist you today with resolving the carriage jam issue that you're experiencing on your HP Deskjet 1050A All-in-One Printer. Carriage Jam issues are usually caused by a jam or debris within the carriage path that is causing the carriage to stall.     Adobe application manager keeps opening and will not allow me to install creative cloud. I am trying to sync fonts and the install is not working. The adobe application manager will open on its own and not allow the creative cloud app to install. I do have other creative cloud products installed however the creative cloud installer icon is not appearing in my toolbar nor does creative cloud show up as an app. I get an error message that I must have creative cloud installed when I try to sync fonts via the type kit to photoshop.

    as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
    Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.     Sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.

  • What am I doing to make my screen zoom in while I  am using my mouse?  It zooms to about double size, and using the control key and mouse will not return it to its former size.

    When I am searching the internet and using my mouse, my screen will suddenly zoom in to about double size.  Clicking control and mousing will not return it back to where it was.  I have no idea what I am doing to cause this to happen or how to reverse it.

    If you're using a Magic Mouse, a double tap on the mouse with one finger will zoom.
    Double tap again to unzoom.

  • Application Server Control Panel page will not load

    I am new to Oracle Application Server and need some assistance to determine why the Application Server Control Page will not load after entering the username/password for ias_admin. I have just installed Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) on Redhat Linux.
    The Listener and the Repository Database are up. I have successfully started the processes for the OracleAS Infrastructure instance with:
    $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl startall
    I have successfully started the OracleAS Console with:
    $ORACLE_HOME/bin/emctl start iasconsole
    I ran "emctl status iasconsole" and received:

    I can bring up the "Welcome to Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)" web page successfully with "http//<host>:7777".
    My problem arises after I click on the link for " log on to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control". I enter the username/pwd for ias_admin and then progress bar on the status bar of the browser goes so far and stops. The Application Server Page will not render.
    Can someone point me into the direction of what to check, whether its an enviromental setting for linux or a configuration issue with the Application Server?
    note: that the status bar for the browser shows "shortcut to localhost.local domain" when highlighting the link " log on to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control". This is different than <host> specified in the URL to render the welcome page. I would't think this to be an issue because the login screen came up and it also appears in the results of the emctl status iasconsole and opmnctl status commands.

    Emilio, note implies emagent core dumps. If that is the case emctl would (hopefully) not return status "ok".
    Here is my output with sysman oc4j running but emagent gone (AS 9.0.4):

  • Apple Care will not return my Hard drive.

    I have a Power Book G4 1.67 . The hard drive has failed, it is covered under applecare for another 6 months, I have case number, the person on the phone was very nice, they sent the shipping box.
    I think it's more then just the HD, however. The drive was partitioned in 3 sectors. Of course the system sector was the one that failed. I can boot in Target Disk Mode and see the other 2 sectors of the drive. The system sector is the one that is bad, I can't get that info off there. I am sure someone else can who is better qualified can. I really need that info, I can see they system partition in Disk Warrior, but am not a guru in that or the couple of other products I bought to see if I could rescue this info.
    I asked AC Rep if I could have the Hard Drive back, they said no, I asked if they would back up the information, they said no, I said I would pay for either back up or pay for the old hard drive myself, (again) they said no.
    So now I am stuck, if I replace that HD myself, I may void the warranty, I know it's a customer installable part. I have replaced many over my apple years, upgrading HDs about every 2 years in multiple computers and putting the old ones in external cases. I have also upgraded RAM, airport cards, pram batteries so I am comfortable working the simple upgrades. So I could simply replace that Hard Drive and then send it in, but then they may blame me for the problem.
    There also smaller problems, screen latch won't stay closed, superdrive will not eject correctly, screen has some lines in it occasionally. It's not a road warrior, but I use it a lot and always treat these well. The drive was making no noise at all and no indication of a impeding failure. I treat my machines very carefully, I still have a Pismo that is gasping it's last breath.
    This HD has all my important passwords and other personal info, I was in the middle of backing it up when thing went blitz. I saved the data from the other 2 partitions but I need that HD. Why will they not return my old part ? Or even back it up for a fee. I am afraid to replace the HD with a new one, and then send it off, or even try to reboot it from a new one as I maybe be stuck with it and they say well I did the damage.
    Yes I know multiple back ups, but this is the first HD failure in 20 years and I should have had 2 HDs for back ups instead of one. Any other part I could see their point, but that HD has information I need and I don't want someone having it either. Is there a fair solution here.
    This thing has been down a week, I just got the box and I need to do something. There is no Apple store up here and the company that can do the repairs, messed up a iBook G4, so the only option is sending it out to apple care.
    Ideas and Suggestions?

    Well Holy Smoke !! Apple has agreed to let me get my data back a bit of a round about way but we will see.
    I am going to use a hard drive recovery service so it will go like this.
    A" local service provider," whom did not do anything at all to fix an iBook I gave them, under Apple Care to repair, but keep it 3 weeks and then said, I could not find anything by Goggling the problem...I see the problem that cursor is all over the place and jumps anywhere it wants., a problem came up and by the time we got back the iBook was out of warranty . Sometimes the local help is tough, but I try to support them.
    I think, with me standing there, they can remove the hard drive from my powerbook, it's pretty easy..
    Then, with Apple Care's blessing, I can send the drive into a recovery company, yes expensive, then return the drive in parts if that is the way it comes back, with my powerbook, ship it and AppleCare will fix it the PowerBook.
    That is really good, and if all goes well, I will be very impressed and not hesitate to get that new
    MBP. They even offered to let me take out the drive, but I thought, better to keep it in the "Apple Family."
    Now they did not send a letter or email to this effect, that would have made me feel better, but the attitude at Apple, has really changed, these people went multiple times to supervisors to get this answer and solution. Not the quickest way to get it fixed, but
    I am willing to bend, if they are willing to alter what is a well oiled line and will create a bump in their flow..
    We will see, I told them they just might get a bag of parts and I will not reinstall the bad drive, as it is most definitely shot. No problem, it's all in the notes the CSR said.
    We will see, but for today, this is sure a different attitude then the last go around, a few years ago. The CSR people are nice, understand English, as they seem to be based in Canada, which is a whole lot better then anywhere else I would want to talk too, or have talked to. They can understand abstract ideas, unlike those who just read from a card and stick to what the card says.
    I am holding my breath, but I hope to report that this all goes smooth. I liked it when Apple was a good company. People went out of their way to help you no matter it took to get it fixed or working. I think a company can be good, profitable, plus have a excellent CSR and repair program.
    For today at least, here is to Apple, way to go.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
