Application download crashes my itunes

Hi! I'm having a very stressful situation wiht an application, i'ts called "Love Art: National Gallery London", this is what happend.
When i first chose to download this, it was for free, so i started to downlaod it, but it was of more than 200 megas, so i paused it, a deleted it, perfect... next time i opened my itunes there it was on downloads AGAIN! so, everytime i deleted it, it would reappear next time i opened my itunes. So i thiught that maybe if just let it donwload it all the problem would be solved, but now that application has a cost. I investigated where the file was, the download files are, and i erased that file, now when i open itunes, the applications still appears on the download section, but now, when i try to pause it crashes my itunes, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, TO GET RID OF THAT APPLICATION ONCE AND FOR ALL, HELP ME!

here's something more, by just opening my itunes, before opening my account, if i go to the downloads window, it will say in the botton, that there is 1 download available, even though i have no other download pending, and if i click on the arrow, after connecting with my account, this application, love art, will reappear to be downloaded, and the file of this applications, will reappear from nowhere to the itunes/mobile applications/downloads file. SO... FROM WHERE IS THIS DONWLOAD BEING LAUNCHED, WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP IT??

    Welcome to the Apple community.
It sounds as though you are sharing and iCloud account with someone else, you need to have a separate iCloud account, otherwise there is no way of stopping other sharers from accessing your photos in photo stream.

  • What to do about download crashing my iTunes?

Each time i open my iTunes, after approximately 2 minutes or so, my whole iTunes, no matter what i am doing because something starts downloading. I cannot even see what is downloading because i cannot click anything.

    Hello Donnette,
First of all - Do not use compressed air on the thing. You will only end up blowing the dust further inside the computer.
Every now and then I take a vacuum cleaner to mine. Try not to make stroking movements, this can create static. Not good for a Mac at all.
If you are really worried about the dust, you could have the machine taken apart by a suitably qualified person - This will involve a large bill though ( possibly! )
Hope that helps some. Post back if you need more.

I just download and install itunes 10.5 and it worked good the first days but since yesterday it crashed up, and everytime i start it it crashes again and logged me out each time. it can´t acces my itunes account. I´m using snow leopard the last version. What can i do to solve this problem and and continue using my itunes normally?

Try doing it in a WIndows Safe mode - Restart computer and hit F8 key right after your see BIOS check and choose "Safe mode with networking"
    Do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that does not work, whilst in safe mode, download Free Malwarebyte software from CNET's Download.com.  Install, update virus definition then perform a full scan.  Remove if it did find some viruses or trojans.  Restart computer.
Back to regular windows, do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that doesnot work, check to see if your Hard drive has errors or bad sectors
GO START BUTTON /COMPUTER, right mouse click OS (C:) and choose "Properties"
Choose "Tools" tab and under error checking, click "Check Now".
Make sure "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" is checked and click start.
Restart windows will perform the above task to fix errors  This may take hours depends on how big is your Hard Drive
    Good Luck!!.

  • Can I get help with podcasts?  When I try to open the podcasts, itunes crashes, says "itunes has detected a problem and must close", or the spanish equivalent since my xp is in spanish.  everything else works fine, it even downloads podcasts and syncs.

The only other thing I can suggest is to use the Repair option for iTunes.
Download the iTunes programme (do not uninstall your current iTunes) and then "install" the new copy. At some stage you should see an option to "install" or "Repair". Take the Repair option.
Once you've done that, if you still have a problem, I don't know what else to suggest, except to search through the discussions to see if anyone else has had the problem and managed to fix it.

i download this latest itunes but i cant install it on my laptop?  everytime i run it.message appear it that "itunesetup.exe is not valid win32 application?? how can i solve it

That generally indicates that the installer is getting damaged during the download.

  • Apple application support part of itunes does not download

I downloaded iTunes then when I go to run it the following comes up, the apple application support was not downloaded, remove iTunes and reinstall. still not happening

    Hey there Shonny1961,
It sounds like you have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, but the Application Support info is not installing. I would use either of the following articles to uninstall not just iTunes but its associated softwares as well, and in the correct order. Then use the links in the article to download and install a fresh copy of the application:
Remove and Reinstall iTunes and other software components from Windows XP
    Or:
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Hello, my iTunes dates are crashed on my mac, how can I download all my itunes match songs and save on my mac?

Hello, my iTunes dates are crashed on my mac, how can I download all my itunes match songs and save on my mac?

    Hi mrmoo13!
You have a couple of options for transferring your music library from one computer to another. First, you can download all of your music that is stored in the cloud on iTunes Match by following the instructions on this page:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Access all your music anytime, anywhere with iTunes Match
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12284
You can follow steps listed in the section right here:
Play or download songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button next to it.
To play the song, double-click it.
To download the song, click the Download button.
After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iTunes Match.
To only display downloaded songs in your iTunes library, choose View > Hide Music in the Cloud. This also hides any previous iTunes Store purchases you haven’t downloaded.
For information about downloading and playing songs on an iOS device, see the documentation for the device.
In order to make it easier to download all of your music, you can highlight all of the songs in your iTunes Match section and then click download, as mentioned in these instructions.
You can also choose to transfer the music from your old computer to the new one by following the steps in this article, whcih will give you some other options for doing this transfer:

  • Adobe Application Manager crashes everytime I try to download Lightroom trial

    Hey,
I am using a Macbook air and I am trying to download the free trial of lightroom on this mac but everytime the download loads the adobe application manager crashes and ends the download. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
    Thanks,
    Arominger

Application Manager or the CC desktop app? Sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, restart your computer and sign in again. Don't start any other programs. If that fails, sign out and uninstall the Creative Cloud app. Run the CC Cleaner tool. Re-install CC app and sign in.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

I sounds like you have the first generation (1G) iPod Touch with an iOS earlier than 2.0,  Yu can identify your ipod here:
    Identifying iPod models
You can identify your iOS version by going to Settings>General>About and look by Version.  Yu can update ti iOS 3.1.3 (the lated for the 1G) by this link.  It is a paid update.  You may have to try another browser to get he sublink to work correctly.

What computer OS and version do you have and what version of iTunes is installed on the computer?

  • TS1424 My computer that I downloaded ALL the Itunes on crashed 3 weeks ago and I just got another computer last week,  Itunes says to reauthorize my computer,,,can't seem to get it done!!

The computer I used to download all my Itunes on crashed,,I'm using a different one that has let me get access to all of my other accounts. Itunes shows me a message to authorize my computer I'm now using,,,,I've done everything they've said to do and I can't authorize my current computer.  HOW do I authorize my computer ???

" When I did this, my library showed all the music I have "purchased" from itunes but did not have the music that I downloaded a long time ago through itunes from my old CDs."
    Correct.
" How can I get that music to show up in my library now on my new computer?  "
Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod.

  • Hi, Need help. I am trying to download the latest iTunes for Windows application but on running the program it says that it can not be completed as it can not find the folder location of the file "iTunes.msi" . Any clues would be appreciated

Hi, Need help. I am trying to download the latest iTunes for Windows application but on running the program it says that it can not be completed as it can not find the folder location of the file "iTunes.msi" . Any clues would be appreciated

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
