This appears to be an iOS development question, you're more likely to find an answer on forums specifically about that, such as:

Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid? Please help
Hi App developers
Has anyone got a solution to this error when using Application uploader to ituneconnect?
Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.
I've created new provisioning profiles and a new certificate but still get the same error.
Any help much appreciated.Hi, I'm not sure which Adobe Forum you would need, but I don't think it's the Flash Player Forum. Go here to find the other Forums that may be helpful to you.

I was wondering someone could help me.
I'm already to upload my App, I thought I followed all the instructions and now in Application Loader it's throwing this error
"Application failed codesign vertification. The signature was invalid, contains disallowed entitlements, or it was not signed with an iPhone Distribution Certificate."
What does that mean and how can I fix it??
Thanks,

Application failed codesign verification - Application Loader
I am attempting to upload a .ipa compiled with flash cs5-AIR for iOS, and I keep getting the "Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate." message and I am unable to upload.
I have tried creating new provisioning profiles and certificates, but I still receive the same message.
I converted the distribution_identity.cer to a .p12 and added it to the project along with the provisioning profile. The App Store is selected as my deployment option.
The only thing strange I notice is the name associated with the distribution certificate in the iOS provisioning portal is different from the name associated with the developer account and the name associated with the development certificate for some reason. Could this be causing the problem?Where are you uploading the .ipa file? To Apple? You should be uploading a .zip file.
I believe you're in the wrong forum. With DPS, you create the .ipa and .zip files using an application called Viewer Builder. -
some one please answer this, every time i go into application loader it says, application failed codesign verification , please go into depth im a beginner, and only use gamesalad please respond as soon as possible!
yes i did sorry for the late response LOL plus it was just a minor error! Just check to make sure u have all of ur correct distribution/developer/and creator certificates in your keychain access installed and up-to-date! Plus i have had over 900 downloads on that game!! ^^

HELP - Application failed codesign verification - iPhone
When I use APplication Loader, or through ITunes COnnect, I get these two errors
1- Noob Alert.app/noob60x60.png: icon dimensions (60 x 60) don't meet the size requirements
2- Application failed codesign verification. Please see the console log for additional details
More INformation
1- If I understand correctly, the icon (png) for the info.plist must be (60x60 pixels), which I did in CS4, and exported as a png, but still get this error ? however the icon loads fine on the 'Sandbox" and on my iPhone
2- I see many people have got this issue before, seems to me I am all confused about security, for a second, so I ran to the CONSOLE and am going to copy and paste the log, I am confused as to why this is happening, as I seem to think I have it set correctly....

Application failed codesign verification - solved issue
Hey all, I just spent many many hours trying to figure this out, so thought I would share what I finally figured out, and hopefully save someone else from the frustration.
I finished my iOS app using Flash CS5.5 air 2.6, and wanted to post it to the app store. It worked fine on iPad's, iPhone's, and iPod touch's using the development certificates and provisioning profiles. When trying to upload it using Application Loader, though, I kept getting the error "application failed codesign verification...". It didn't give me information to try and guess what might be going on, which was incredibly frustrating. I must have tried a hundred different variations on creating keys, creating certificates, creating app ids, creating provisioning profiles, etc.
for reference (again, for others having this problem reading this), common issues that I saw on other posts when you get this error are using development provisioning profiles instead of distribution, development certificates instead of distribution, or not using the correct settings when publishing in flash. Make sure in the deployment tab in iOS settings in flash cs5, you have the correct distribution certificate and distribution provisioning profile - not development - and that the app ID under the provisioning profile (e.g. com.mycompany.myapp, without the numbers in front) matches the bundle id in iTunes connect, and that you are set to publish as Deployment - Apple App Store at the bottom.
In the end, here are some things I was wondering might be the mysterious issue, that are ok to do
-- you can use OpenSSL to generate all the certificates and keys you need, publish with flash on a PC using those files, then move the file to a mac to use with Application Loader
-- you don't have to unzip the ipa file anymore (some posts I read say that you used to need to unzip it, then re-zip the folder within the ipa file)
-- Apple's procedures for checking codesign verification were not helpful. They indicated problems that in the end weren't really problems. They don't really seem to work on a non-xcode based app (I was getting desparate, trying everything I could to figure out what might be the issue).
-- I'm still not positive how careful you need to be, when creating your key with OpenSSL if you use the correct CN and email address, but that didn't seem to be my problem in the end.
to get all the files you need, I basically followed the instruction here
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/packaging-air-apps-ios.html#articlecontentAdobe_n umberedheader
even though it isn't for flash, the provisioning and certificate stuff is the same.
so... the thing that was keeping my app from successfully uploading was the name for my .fla file. That is a pretty lame place for it to fail, and even worse that a simple name matching created an error that makes it seem like the keys and provisioning had a problem. I had made sure my app name within the settings within Flash matched the name on iTunes connect. I even unzipped the ipa file at one point, and changed the name within to match the name on iTunes connect (which was a pretty close guess). I guess that name propogates in the ipa file structure somehow, such that you have to make sure the file you even use to open your flash document, unrelated to specific settings within flash, needs to match your app name.
Hope that saves someone else the frustration I had. Hopefully my app is out next week (a kids Customizabooks book app, I'm Scared )
thx
tomlucient.I'm using CS6 now. I haven't tried using a fla filename with a name different than the iTunes name, but I know that if you do keep the names the same with CS6 then it works My guess is that the 'content' name in the *-app.xml file needs to match up so that Apple knows you're uploading the correct IPA file. I haven't tested that that is really where it grabs the name from, but that's my best guess. One other thing I'll add is that the <filename> and <name> values in the xml file can be different. Those values are what are shown on the iPhone/iPad main desktop/app chooser screen. In CS6, you set the screen name in air for ios settings -> App name:. Changing this does not cause problems with uploading to Apple. thx, Tom

Application failed codesign verification (again)
All,
i', trying to upload my archive.zip file with my compiled app in and i get " Application failed codesign verification " and I'm at the end of my tether trying to read forums etc etc and figure it out. I'm at somewhat of a dead end.
When i build the app i get this in the log window :
+cd "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final"+
+<com.apple.compilers.product-pkg-utility> "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final/Info.plist" -entitlements -format xml -o "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final/build/FlagMate.build/Distribution-iphoneos/FlagMate.build/FlagMate.xcent" +
+ cd "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final"+
+/usr/bin/codesign -f -s "iPhone Distribution: lee Caller" "--resource-rules=/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final/build/Distribution-iphoneos/FlagMate.app/ResourceRules.plist" --entitlements "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final/build/FlagMate.build/Distribution-iphoneos/FlagMate.build/FlagMate.xcent" "/Users/lcaller/Downloads/FlagMate - Final/build/Distribution-iphoneos/FlagMate.app"+
+*Build succeeded*+
So i can see that from there it's pulling the distribution profile but I've read that there should be an embedded profile file in my directory when i "show packages" and there isn't anything.
What now? I'm really at the end of my tether with all this.
HELP NEEDED (and not just medical)You might want to go through this: http://tinyurl.com/codesign .

I updated my itunes the other day and now it won't open I get error message saying "application failed to start because MSVCR80 was not found" When I close that window I get message stating Itunes was not installed correctly Error 7 Windows error 126. My PC is a Acer and I'm running Windows Visa. I tried to uninstall Itunes and reinstall it and get same message. Can anyone help.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

my software update fails every time I attempt to update. I have restarted the device, selected software update but when it get to the end of "preparing software update", it fails and says the update was not successful. any ideas?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore. -

FanShow parameter pfile/spfile will not show you contents of pfile , for seeing contents you will have to show parameter with required parama name.
show parameter log_archive_dest
Whenever you start database ostartup first by default use spfile$Oracle_Sid.ora for starting the instance if this spfile does not exist then it goes for spfile.ora if spfile.ora also does not exist then it search init$Oracle_Sid.ora in default location.
As you created spfile after restarting the database will automatically use spfile and will show you spfile in yours param when you will show parameter spfile if it does not show then you are still using pfile

HT5706 AppleTV fails updating, reports "The update was not successful."
Cutrrently my AppleTV is at version 6.0.2 (6646.81.1) connected to my network via ethernet. When I attempt to update my AppleTV, It downloads the update, begins step 1 of 2, preparing update, then it fails with the message "The update was not successful."
wait a while and try again
when one downloads something over the Internet the bits can get corrupted and in the process making the update broken the system detects that and will not try to update with the broken update
when people download things over the Internet the isp (internet service provider) they use cache the data for a while so if another one of their users or the same user download it again right away they will get the cached data from the isp rather having to transfer the data all the way from the original site this saves time and money in most cases
but it also mean if the data gets corrupted you have to wait a bit for their cache to flush before you try again
the process of isp's detecting if all of the data in their caches was valid would mean a lot of processing on their behalf making your isp bill higher so waiting a bit every now and then is pref'd in the eyes of most -
please help me.
thanks1. Make sure you're actually zipping up your package w/ a mac, the CS5 publish wont work as is.
2. Make sure you're packing w/ distribution keys and not development keys (not just the mobile provisioning, but the developer cert as well, this got me early on).
3. Check out this link, should be helpful. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/720404?tstart=60

Tbird 31.4 on WinXP, cursor is VERY jumpy only in Tbird window
After the latest update, 31.4, whenever my cursor is within the Tbird main window, it gets very "jumpy" and jerky. Even if Tbird is open, none of my other windows exhibit this problem. And when viewing the tbird address book, that window is fine, but
