Well , you won't go for shopping when there are already guests in your home , will you? In case, that didn't make much sense, I meant that you won't start reading books, pdfs, looking at websites when you are going to have an interview already scheduled for you. I can bet my money( whatever little I have) that even doing this, won't bring you any good. If your question directly or indirectly is related to the questions that the interviewer may ask, once again, this would be a total wrong approach to go for an interview. In almost no time, it can be find out whether you are speaking some crammed line or from yourself. I had a chance to sit on the other side of the hot seat and the guy in front of me was giving all teh bookish answers. I twisted the questions and I was sure that he must have not read them anywhere, guess what happened. he started fumbling and finally gave up.
Interview is what you know, what you have done so far. Its not to start picking up LOTS of books, looking for the questions/answers and just think that the interview will happen from that only. I have some questions whose answers, at least the complete answers , you won't find anywhere. My suggestion is to just go for the interview, be honest about what you know and more about , what you don't know. You haven't committed a crime by not knowing some thing. I know nothing and I am never scared from the interviews ;-) .
Not sure that did help or not but still, best of luck.

  • "You are opening the application----- for the first time"  error

I've seen a few people post about this from as far back as 2005 but I haven't found anything that worked for me. I believe I started having this problem after upgrading to Snow Leopard.
When opening an application, most often Microsoft Office by opening a specific document/file, I get the warning that I'm opening the application for the first time. This is mostly an annoyance but I don't know how to get this error to stop coming up. I saw a suggestion to delete caches and make sure the application was set as default for that file type; these haven't solved the problem yet.
    Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I'm not sure it helped. I did recently trash a couple caches, but this was after the problem had started. I found an old post that suggested the cache might be corrupted and that it would be a good idea to trash it.
The link you posted notes that the deleted cache could cause that problem, but I would think a new cache would be created and it would be resolved. Is it possible I have a setting that's erasing it? How would I change that? It also sounds like in the link you posted that theMacMac's problem eventually went away without explanation.

  • Known Issue while running Adobe Story desktop application for the first time on Mac OS 10.8

You may encounter the following error message while running the Adobe Story desktop application for the first time on Mac OS 10.8:
    For resolution, please go to:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/story/kb/run-story-app-mac-os.html

The /Developer directory contains the compiler(s) and various tools and libraries.
Does your user account name really contain a single quote? If so, it looks like the quote is getting eaten by one of the build scripts, which is resulting in a file path that doesn't exist.

  • Can I use the SDK on a PC to develop applications for the iPad, iPhone, etc

I was thinking about paying the $99 a year to join the developer program because I want to download the SDK and try creating applications for the iPhone and iPad; however, can you download the SDK and use it on a PC or does it require that you have a Mac in order to do development work? The xcode4 and interface builder feature looked rather nice but I didn't know if I were to sign up and download if it would all run on my PC (Windows 7)or not.

It will not run under windows, and you need an Intel-based Mac running Snow Leopard to use it. Have you looked at the Mac Mini?

  • Has anyone submitted a successful application for the up-to-date program?

has anyone submitted a successful application for the up-to-date program? I submitted my application 2 days ago and when I log on it's still under review.  Has anyone had difficulty with this? When they finally get back to me am I likely to be offered iworks? - I've fulfilled all criteria, I just wonder whether they expect me to jump through any more hoops

Change your Mac's System Preferences to English and go to the Mac App Store and you should see it for free.
Otherwise see the Apple Up-To-Date Program:

  • I used my iPhone maps it works very well. Is there an application for the iPad that could be used on a boat?

I used my iPhone maps it works very well. Is there an application for the iPad that could be used on a boat?

    Indeed :-)
This forum is riddled with questions by users that cannot get their computer to do what they want, *despite* the fact they use a very precise and (usually) unambiguous method of telling it want they want it to do -- a programming language. Making it comprehend *natural* language is, by any way of measuring, a number of degrees more difficult.
That said: in what way would a computer program (advanced or "dumb") be able to help the OP? Spell check is one -- but it's not a *fact* that anything written *badly* equals nonsense. In politics, for example, the most eloquent speakers still manage to make a fool of themselves :D The same goes for "grammar". Of course, bad grammar is more difficult to understand -- EVEN for a human. So a computer is bound to fail on that as well.
Fact checking then? I usually can't even find what I want in one go with Almighty Google (which seems to turn things around: if it cannot find "enough" web pages with the exact phrase you asked it, it automatically assumes you are interested in synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, and other *unrelated* stuff! Yeah THANK you but I want to find what I typed in!)
A good starting point would be to define in more detail what this hypothetical software *ought* to do -- that needs to be a bit more concrete than "I want it to do my job for me."

  • Missing applications for the SharePoint Web Services site in IIS

We have SharePoint 2013 server farm and in one of the server missing service applications/virtual directories.
Under IIS, “SharePoint Web Services" site including an Application Pool and SharePoint Web Services Root is available, but no applications for the SharePoint Service Applications, all applications (security token service, topology ..) virtual directories
    are missing/removed/deleted.
Can we re-provision only service applications on local SharePoint server, local server only not in any other servers in the server farm?
    Thank You.

    Hi RK,
Please check if services has been started on this server via CA > System Settings
    > Manager services on server > change server to the current one.
Is there other application server in your farm? Please test the issue on other servers.

    Hi,John,Thanks for your quick reply.
I think after install Hyperion Planning,at first time can't create application in this address:http://localhost:8300/HyperionPlanning/ ,usually create it in workspace.
Is the address you said different from http://localhost:8300/HyperionPlanning/?
thanksI gave you the address to create a planning application directly - http://localhost:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp
Notice the AppWizard.jsp on the end.
If it version 11 you will be able to create your datasource from that location, if it is version 9 then you will have to create a datasource first from the configuration utility.
    Cheers

  • Is it possible for the posting COGS another price then standard price

< MODERATOR:  Message locked.  Please post this message in the [Controlling forum|SAP ERP Financials - Controlling;. >
Is it possible for the posting of the goods sold (delivery sales order) to use another price then the standard price when the price control of the material is S.

Yes. Is it a third-party scenario?
In a typical Third-Party sale (where the vendor delivers the goods directly to the customer, with no/notional GR in our books), the system uses the PO price and not the Std Price from MM.
    Cheers.
