Application icon has vanished

My Tunein radio app is on my phone; I can search for it; but its icon has vanished from my screen. I mounted my phone and its not in the 'grey section' of iphone windows. Tried resetting the home screen. Any way to get its icon back on my screen?
thanks

Is it in a folder?
Connect the iPhone to your computer, select it in the left column of iTunes, click the Apps tab, find the app in the left column, drag it to the desired window, and click Apply.

  • Hard Disk icon has vanished

The Hard Disk icon has vanished from my Desktop, and the sidebar of the Finder window.
If I use the little path tool in the toolbar of a Finder window the Hard Disk name is greyed out and I can't select it.
I can navigate to it using the Terminal, or the Go To Folder... menu item, but I can't get it to appear back where it belongs on the desktop.
    Any ideas?
    Phil

Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and run the following:
tell application "System Events" to set visible of alias "name of hard disk" to true
    tell application "Finder" to quit
    delay 1
    tell application "Finder" to run
Insert the name of the hard disk between the second pair of quote marks, and press the Run button.

        Hi Samsothermom!
It seems your email icon is playing hide and seek, huh? Well, let's win this one OK? Since the email icon is a default icon that can't be deleted, please follow these steps to get it back:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. Let me know how it goes, thanks!

  • My calculator icon has vanished, how do i get it back?

My calculator icon has vanished, i have restored my ipad etc. how do i get it back. very weird? please help as i use it often.

The Calculator app (plus Weather, Stocks, and Clock which are on the iPhone) have never been part of the built-in apps on the iPad. I don't think Apple have ever said why they weren't included, but there are many similar apps in the App Store (which may be why they aren't included) .

  • My safari icon has vanished?

Safari is no longer on my phone?  It is missing in settings also.  How do I retrieve it?  Do I have to reset my phone?

Check if under the General tab in the settingsa app, if you have restrictions on. If so check if it turned off Safari, if so problem solved. But if not the first thing I would then try would be to hold the home and lock button down for about 20 seconds, allowing the phone to restart, and then see if the icon comes back

  • My launchpad Icon has vanished how do I get it back ?

My launchpad icon has just vanished how do I get it back ?

I take you want the icon on the Dock?
Navigate to the Applications folder in your hard drive. Look for the item called Launchpad. Drag and drop it on the Dock. The icon is usually placed immediately after the Finder Icon.

  • Mail dock icon has vanished

Hi, I have a strange problem with my Mail dock icon. It is completely transparent. It is still there, but I can't see it, I see an empty space, with only the 'Mail' text on top of it. I still can click it to open up mail. I already tried to remove it and add a new alias - and rebooted the computer. The Mail icon in the dock has vanished...

Have you tried trashing the mail.plist file from your Home Preferences folder?
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run _*Repair Disk*_ from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
    Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
    Select *Disk Utility.*
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click *First Aid.*
    Click _*Repair Disk.*_
    Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop

  • Dynadock V system tray icon has vanished

I have had a Dynadock V since February, 2012. Recently, the system tray icon vanished. Because it's not there, I can't undock to take my laptop somewhere else. I have to shut down the laptop and then I figure it's safe to unplug the dynadock. I've searched for help on the Toshiba website, and all I get is the statement that the icon won't be present unless the computer is connected and a monitor is attached to the dynadock. Well, the computer IS connected and I'm right now watching the monitor connected via the dynadock. But no icon that lets me undock. The users manual clearly says not to disconnect the cable without undocking, and suggests clicking the "show hidden icons button." I've done that, and the icon is not there. Does anybody know what's going on and how to fix it?  Thanks in advance.

Solution. After messing around with this for way too many hours, I've found a fix. Maybe it can help someone else.
In Windows Explorer, I found the application that puts the icon in the tray. In my case (Windows 7) it was located at C:/Program Files/TOSHIBA/Dynadock_II/TosDockApp.exe.  Double clicking that put the icon in the tray, but it would be gone the next time I rebooted.
It needed to be in the Startup folder. I'm guessing that once upon a time it was there and got removed for some unknown reason. (a Windows update?) Right clicked on the application, clicked "Create Shortcut," clicked Yes to placing it on desktop. Then used the Start button, All Programs, and found Startup in the list. Right click, Open. Maneuevered the window so I could see the desktop simultaneously, and dragged the shortcut from the desktop to the list of files on the right side of the Startup window.
This solution has survived one computer restart, so I'm hoping it will last.
By the way, copying the application and pasting it in the startup folder didn't work. I had to make the shortcut.
And Toshiba, if you're listening, I'm still ticked off. Someone in Customer Support should have been able to help me with this. Or it should have been on a troubleshooting page. I've been struggling to find a solution to this problem for months. It wasn't hard -- just not obvious to someone (me) who doesn't work with this software everyday.

  • The "House" icon has vanished. How do I restore it?

My search bar now has no house icon on it. I have no idea why it vanished and I have no idea how to get it back. I want to continue using Firefox as my search engine. So, when I'm traveling around the internet, I can not get back to my homepage anymore - I have to type it in the search area. I miss the house. Please help.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
    *"3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars (Windows/Linux)
*View > Toolbars (press F10 to show the Menu bar)
    *Right-click empty toolbar area
Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
*"3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
*check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the "Restore Defaults" button to restore the default toolbar setup

  • Email set up icon has vanished

I had asked for assistance about my BB 8830 which was no longer re-charging over the weekend. It turned out that the USB port was damaged but because it was under warranty, I received a replacement today. While I was waiting to get home to my PC to "restore" the databases through Desktop Manager, I configured what I could, including the 5 email accounts I use. After I restored the data with Manager, 2 out of the 5 email accounts vanished but worse, the email set-up icon is gone. I checked to see if by mistake it was hidden but I cannot find it anywhere!! I would appreciate any advice, suggestion.... I am completely baffled! Of course, the 2 email accounts are my work accounts............

And you are under BES (any exchange server) or BIS (your carrier data plan)?
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.

  • The safari icon has vanished & is missing in settings

Has anyone ever heard of this?  safari has just left my phone...

You might have did some security thing. Go into settings then general then restrictions set it to no restrictions.
Or if you held onto the icon you could have moved it to another page. You can't delete it.

  • Application link has vanished from left menu bar (used to be under Podcasts

    Hi,
I opened iTunes last night to synch my iPhone and it acted very oddly. iTunes installed a bunch of songs I had throw in the recycling bin and re-imported a bunch of album artwork. Small problems that I quickly resolved.
iTunes also gave me a weird message about applications (I didn't realize it was a big deal so I didn't read it, something about saving over new applications with older applications) so I said no.
The big issue - my applications link is now missing from the left menu screen (it used to be below the Podcasts link). I don't know how to update any applications or manage my applications without that link.
    Help!
    Thanks in advance.

    iTunes prefs -> General.
    Under Show: tick Applications.

  • The internet radio icon has vanished

Have they dropped it? Is anyone else's missing? If not, how do I get it back? Already rebooted, no luck.

Go to the iTunes menu and select Preferences.  In the Preferences General tab, put a checkmark next to Radio (and whatever else you wish displayed).
