Application icons not showing in console

Does anyone see application icons in the Configuration Manager console? There's an "Icons" column as if this is an intended feature, but it always shows the generic application icon. This is really annoying as I can't check applications icons unless
I find a machine the application is deployed to and check Software Center.
Is this a known issue? Is there some way to resolve it?

KDE 4.8.0 upgrade - application icons not showing in system tray

I updated to KDE 4.8.0 through pacman yesterday, and I noticed that system tray is not working as it should. Icons for some applications do not show, while other work OK.
For example, Akregator icon appers in tray, while icons for Skype, AppSet or the Java application I'm developing do not. I notced that notification ballons for these apps pop up at upper left corner, instead of lower right.
Anybody got some idea what might be wrong? Maybe QT version issues?
One more question: how can I bring up these application windows when they do not show in tray?

App-V 5.0 SP1 application icons not showing up

I've set up clean App-V 5.0 SP1 environment (Server, Sequencer and Clients). Published applications works when accessing them from %Localappdata%\Microsoft\AppV\Client\Integration\... folder, but for some reason the application shortcut icons are not showing
up correctly either in start menu or in desktop (defined desktop folder for shortcuts in App-V Server settings just for test).
So, there is this shortut on start menu, but it's not showing application icon and when opening shortcut properties it does not show application, it only shows "start in" folder (which is %localappdata%\etc..).
I've tried this now on Windows 7, Windows 8 and on 2008R2 server (rds client). Same "error" appears on all machines, and application icon is not showing up correctly.

That sounds very strange. Have you checked out the event viewer logs? You should enable the Advanced view and check them out. Also may be worth while making a copy of the .appv file and renaming it to zip, opening up and looking for the shortcuts in the
AppXManifest.XML file...see if you notice anything a miss there. Also the most obvious would be to take a copy of the package, open it for upgrade and ensure the shortcuts appear under Shortcuts and FTAs.

Application icons not showing in a stack

I have dragged my Applications folder to the doc, so I can use the stack feature. However not all the application icons display in the stack, anyone know why this would happen?
It's not all of them just Delicious Library and Fetch (so far).

Does the icon in the lower-right corner say "2 more in Finder" or something like that? I think a Stack can only show a certain number of files; then it directs you to the Finder to see the ones that were bumped off. For instance, my Documents stack displays 62 files, with a link "55 more in Finder" in the corner.

Application Icons Not Showing

When I install new apps, the icon just shows the default blank paper with a "NO" sign. After a restart, the correct icon for that application will replace it. Why does it do this, and is there any solution for getting the correct icon other than a restart?

Those icons can take a bit to link, especially with large numbers of files. I'm fairly sure if you waited a bit longer they would appear on their own (it's a spotlight related thing).
Try restarting the Finder; waiting; logging out and back in.
Also, try deleting the com.apple.systempreferences.plist
~/Library/Preferences/...
Also ~(yourUserName)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist & com.apple.recentitems.plist

New application icons not showing in Mavericks?

I've recently re-installed Mavericks on my iMac.

I installed the following tools :-
Weblogic Server 10.3.6
SE JDK 6U35 64bit
Oracle Portal,Forms,Report,and Discoverer Services (11.1.1.4.0)
1. Create a "icons" folder and place all gif images in there :-
C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Form1\forms\java\<icons>
2. Within icons i made a jar file of all gif images :-
C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Form1\forms\java\icons\jar -cvf frmicons.jar *.gif
3. Copy this new jar file into :-
C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Form1\forms\java\
4. Edit formsweb.cfg file:
imageBase=codebase
archive=frmall.jar,frmicons.jar
5. Edit Registry.dat file:
default.icons.iconpath=/forms/java
default.icons.iconextension=gif
After doing above configuration i create a form and place an icon on the button.
Set button's icon property = Yes and give name of icon without extension.
When i run the form not display icons who configure icons.
Please give the solution how to set icons on button.

Application menu not showing in preference pane

Have brought some games for the iphone and ipod touch but have no application menu not showing in preference pane to upload them to to ipod touch. All software is current both itunes and ipod touch

If you go to Preferences, General you should be able to see the "Applications" check box, below "Audiobooks". Check the box, this will show the Applications icon in your library.

The ID Program folder will be relevant to your OS...
I took a shot and right clicked on my Scripts Samples, choose reveal in Explorer and opened up the ID Program folder.
As shown, there is a Fonts folder.
Drag/Copy/Paste fonts to this folder.

After upgrade ios 7 and itune 11 iphone icon not showing up on itune

SP2013 Workflow Service Application is not showing up only WF Service App proxy but the WF is working...

I configured Sharepoint Workflow Manager 1.0 in Sharepoint 2013 App Server running under Windows 2012 R2. The Workflow manager is working properly - I tested using Sharepoint Designer and Sharepiont Workflow 2013 is listed. But under Service Applications,
only Workflow Service Application Proxy shows up NO Workflow Service Application.
I followed the troubleshooting steps on this - I have re-registered WF many times but still only proxy is coming up.

I also run IPConfig /FlushDNS, rebooted App and WFE servers.

Hi John,
I recommend to click Configuration Wizards in the Quick Launch of Central Administration site and then click Launch the Farm Configuration Wizard.
And then make sure that the Workflow Service Application is selected and then click Next. (You can uncheck the other service applications if you do not need them)
After that, the Workflow Service Application will show up.

Copy of Application does not show " My accounts" in search show

I have copied the application CRMM_ACCOUNTS through blueprint application builder using save as
The new application does not show "My accounts" in search show
It is just showing "My favorites"
Can somebody please tell me the reason for it or how to bring "My accounts" in search show

May be while copying the application "My Accounts" is not copied.
But you can create one by saving the Query.
Seelct "My Account" in the Find DDLB while in adv search and save the query as "My accounts".
It will be added to the SHOW DDLB.

App icons not showing up after downloading?

Why do my app icons not show up on my iPad2? I have purchased the apps on my iPad directly. Also, I know they are there because when I search it finds them and then I can open and run them.

Could the Apps be on the second page of Apps? From your Home page, wipe across from right to left to scroll to page 2.
If that is the problem, press and hold on the icon. When it starts to wiggle, you can drag it back to the first page. This can also be done from iTunes when the iPad is selected.
