Where can Ifind Application Loader for Mac OS X 10.5.8. The latest version of AppLoader is cannot be installed to this OS version. Help please. Thanks.

Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
If it's a Core Duo Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update.
If it's a Core 2 Duo or better Mac, upgrade it as if it was a Core Duo Mac, and once done, if desired, open the Mac App Store and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, go to the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC software such as Microsoft Office 2004. If you upgrade the OS, back up the computer first.

As you noticed, standalone MacOS distribution of application server is currently not available, but what you can do is to download NetBeans with J2EE bundle or Creator (for free) and install bundled Application Server on this platform. Download URLs are:

Also, you can install and run Glassfish (which is open-source version of upcoming Application Server 9.0) on MacOS X:

Uploading ipa through Application Loader on Mac

Hi, everyone I am new to Flash ipad development and so far I have followed through many steps and tutorials supplied by Adobe and online contributors. Long story short, I arrived at a problem when I tried to upload the *.ipa I exported from flash cs5 to Itune Connect through Application Loader. Below are the steps I did so far on my mac;
Publish ipa with Apple Distribution Provisioning Profile, certificate, and password... in flash cs5
Tested the ipa on my ipad
Added my application (details and thumbnail) to Itune Connect
Installed Application Loader v1.3 on my mac
Then I got lost trying to unload the file....
I tried to...
Compress the ipa
Change the extension of the *.ipa file to *.zip
Put the ipa file inside a Payload folder and compress that folder
Re exporting the ipa files
Anyways Application Loader would always say "No application found in the archive". I tried to look for InfoPlist.cass file mentioned on other threads but couldn't find it.
PS. This is unrelated to my current problem but I would like to say thank you to all the people who have posted so far on different threads and discussions. I would not have been able to make it this far without reading these many posts before.

Can I download a version of application loader for Snow Leopard?

I'm not able to upgrade to mountain lion at the moment but I need to upload my app. The only version application loader I can find is for 10.7. Right now my operating system is 10.6. I've seen that you can use xcode to submit using the archive but another complicating factor here is I'm using Phone Gap Build to compile my code. It generates an IPA file which isn't recognized in the archive folder.
The only possible solution I can think of is finding a compatabile version of Application Loader. Is there an older version somewhere? If you know of a way to get xcode to recognize and submit an IPA file, that would work as well.
Help?

Why not get an external drive, install ML on that and boot into it when you want to submit your app?

Native Application installer for mac

Hi all,
I am using Flash Builder 4.5 and adobe air 2.7
I want to bundle Adobe Air Installer along with my application(.app file ) for mac. I followed the instructions mentioned in the link

But with the .app file, I am getting the message
"The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
then i checked with .air file and it works fine.
Is there any limitation with .app files? If yes, then what we should do to bundle the .app with adobe air installer.
Any suggestion in this regard would be great.

Unfortunately we don't have support for sidecar installs with native installers at this time. I've seen this come up before but when I searched the ideas.adobe.com site I couldn't find a specific feature request. We are aware that there is interest in this feature, but I'd like to encourage you to add a post to the ideas.adobe.com page or over at bugbase.adobe.com and let others know so we can vote on it.

As of Firefox 4.0 and newer a Intel and OSX 10.5+ is required.
For the old OSX 10.4.x and also PPC Macs the last version from Mozilla to work is the 3.6.* as the current version can be found at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Since you are using PPC there is a third-party option for Firefox 5.0 at http://code.google.com/p/tenfourfox/downloads/list as the tenfourfox.com is down at moment. There is no actual 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 releases and the 6.0b1 are test builds. I suggest to use Firefox 5.0

Regarding java application bundle for Mac OSx

Hi,
I made a java application to distribute on Mac osx. I created folder .app structure according to mac application.
The application is being successfully launched by double click on Myapplication.app on Mac Osx which contains Java5.
Its not launching the application on Mac with Java6. I searched for the problem then I found that the current shipped JavaApplicationStub file is for Java5. I copied the JavaApplicationStub file from the Mac (which have java6) from /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Resources/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub" and replace it in my application bundle. Now application is being launched in java6 with double click.
I am looking for a solution which works on all Mac with different jre versions. I search for this.

Video Converter Application/Software For Mac

I would like some recomendations on there types of apps.
I plan on mostly converting .mkv and .avi to .mp4 or any format that is compatible with the iPhone 4 and/or AppleTV 3.

Error while uploading an ipa(zip) file using Application Loader

I have created an iOS application with Packager for iPhone
on a windows machine and tested it well on my iphone. But I am unable to upload the app with Application Loader in MAC Book.I have tried a lot to solve this problem.
This is the error message displayed on the Application Loader, after it finishes verification (zipp/unzip and code sign verificaion was succesful) and nearly finishes uploading:

Application Loader - Can't login

Hi, anyone encountered issues trying to login to Application Loader app? My app is ready to go - all the documentation etc is setup and the app has been added in iTunes Connect. So all I have to do now is upload it. Easy eh? NOPE!
Each time I attempt to start the Application Loader I get the following response..
There is a problem with your login information.
Please click Back and try again.
An error occurred talking to the iTunes Store.
Now, you're thinking - 'you entered your credentials incorrectly'. I've done this so far about a dozen times. I even copied & pasted the credentials from the login screen for iTunes Connect (which I can access). Still no joy. Should I be using different credentials to gain access to the Uploader than those used to access iTunes Connect or the dev centre? Is there a known issue with the uploader? Anyone want to buy a Mac?

Version of XCode is 3.2.6 Version of Loader is 1.4.1.
In any case never mind - found the resolution. While attempting to start the Application Loader the Mac was on the internal network - which has a firewall. This is fine for accessing Dev Centre or iTunes Connect etc, but the App Loader does not seem to like this. Moved the Mac outside the firewall and everything works.
Still selling my Mac though.
