  • App.Manager: Memory Full. Close some Applications ...

    Hello Frens,
i got an Irritating issue.  when i try to change
the SUITE SETTINGS for some Games in Settings - Installed apps. , i get the Issue "App.Manager: Memory Full. Close some Applications and Try Again."
I close all apps i have opened via JBAK Taskman and it shows free RAM as 51MB.
Still why i get the issue and i cant change via suite settings ?? any other way to change the Suite settings??

Which phone do you have. Assuming it not to be an S40 device.. you may try a Soft Reset by dialing *#7370# followed by the Security Code. Default code is 12345 unless changed by you. Be warned that the Reset will wipe all data from the phone memory so back-up before going for it. You will have to restore the data and MAY also have to re-install a few applications.

  • TO NOKIA SUPPORT: Application Manager Memory issue...

There is a STRANGE memory issue with Application Manager and Nokia N80 device. It's present in both N80 and N80IE and tried with Firmware versions from v3.x to lastest v4.x one.
When you have installed many programs, tested with more than 150 counting SIS plus JAVA, Application Manager gets unusuable reporting continuosly "Memory Full - Please close apps..." and you can't do anything with it...
This issue happens even after starting device without any resident app loaded and 14 Mbytes of free RAM so I think this is a limited memory issue available for Application Manager
A curious thing is that you can Run and Enter Application Manager and installed App list is showed but not complete, it list all the SIS files installed (I think it start to list that type) and then the JAVA ones is cutted and dont appear the full list of installed apps of this type.
Another curious thing is that if you uninstall a SIS app and Run again Application Manager the list is filled with one more app of JAVA type so this sound like a MEMORY ISSUE or deliberating restricting number of app listed?
Perhaps app listing could be stored in a temp file and partially loaded in pages so memory don't get overheaded... :-?
Today with 1 or 2 GB memory cards, this is a SERIOUS ISSUE.
Please, could you confirm this and point me where to report this issue so it can be solved in future firmware updates?
    Many thanks in advance.

So hope i.I'm preparing a bug report to post here.Maybe with our reports the new firmwares will be even better...if some Nokia guy is looking at what we're speaking

I get this "Memory full. Please close some applications and try again" error message when manually entering the "Help" menu on my E51 and browse the help entries.
If I choose the Help option from within an application, it opens without problem.
I have about 35 MB left on c: and 5.5 GB/8 GB on the e: so what could be the problem?
I also get this error in the Application manager sometimes. Do I have too many apps installed?

I get this error message sometimes on my e65 when browsing. Just happened now and there is about 45MB of RAM free and with running applications taking just over 1MB.
What gives ? Getting the battery out is not exactly a solution to see the rest of the web page if you see what I mean :-)

  • Fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and ...

    Hi,
    I am using 4 e-mail accounts:
Three imap accounts for which i am syncing e-mail every 15 minutes
One Mail for Exchange account i am syncing google calendar with
After a while (sometimes already after a few hours, sometimes after a few days) i get the error message “fsmailserver: memory full. Close applications and try again”. This happens whenever new mail gets in and whenever i am sending a new e-mail.
This N8, however, has plenty of memory left! When i close all running applications via the task menu and i also close the e-mail application, then restart the e-mail application, the error message is still issued. It also doesn’t ring the normal new-email sound anymore, but gives two short error clicks.
Very annoying because now i am not even notified of new e-mail any more when this happens. So that makes the N8 very unreliable for e-mail, which is one of the main aspects of a smart phone anyway!
I can only fix the error by switching the N8 off and on again.... But after a while it will happen again!
    Regards,
    Jan

  • Application Manager Full - e71

    Hey guys,
I installed some themes from the nokia site and when I went to the application manager to delete some i keep getting the prompt "memory full, please close some applications and try again later". The thing is that I don't have anything else running. And how can I free space on the application manager if it won't even allow me to open it? Before the application manager became filled I was able to delete installed themes. I know that both my phone and memory card memory have a lot of space, so I don't understand. Please help.

You might also try this app called RAMblow pro.

You might need to sign it with your cert and key for it to work..

  • Application Memory Full - how do I stop this?

Running LabView 3.1 on a 386 machine. After several minutes of running get the following: "Application Memory Full: Saving and closing VIs can free memory. You may need to increase the Total Memory allocated to LabView from the Preferences Dialog." I gave it the entire 32 meg and still the same. What to look into? remeber it's an ancient 386!

Shift registers accumulating data with Build Array or Append String functions inside!
Bad calculation of For loop count with autoindexing output on foor loop boundery.
Or simply an autoindexing output on a while loop. The CPU may be slow but 32 MB is fast depleted in a loop when you create an array of double precision values.
PS: You should have also a math coprocessor 387 installed or things get a little difficult in LabVIEW.

  • Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 won't launch - system application memory full OSX

    Running on Mac OS 10.10.2
    16 GB memory
After I try launching Dreamweaver, a warning about system application memory full forces me to quit Dreamweaver.
I've tried uninstalling Dreamweaver from CC and reinstalling, deleting my Dreamweaver preferences, restarting computer - all to NO avail.
    Please help.

Update: Appears to be working again - Updated Java to 8, uninstalled Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 (also deleted permissions), restarted computer, reinstalled Dreamweaver CC 2014.1, and now it finally works again.

  • I subscribe to the full ver of CC but application manager does not show lightroom

I subscribed to the 30 day trial, but now has expired. So, I have subscribed to the full verison of Adobe Creative Cloud, but I am unable to download Lightroom as it is not shown up in the Application Manager.  I currently run OSX 10.8.3 so according to your records, I meet the requirements needed.  Wondering if there's an alternate way to download it? What steps should I take?

Please try solution 2 in Creative Cloud AAM lists Applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html.

  • Application manager full???

I know it is a bug but can we get around the annoying problem of all the installed stuf not showing up in application manager?
I have 2 delete 5 apps, so i will gain room and see 5 others that won't pop up before!
    This is so lame......
I have mega ram and a lot of spave left on c: but still this stupid bug!
    Anyone?

Remember that dynamic memory means that the available memory is shared between dynamic memory functions.... When any of these functions is used,,, there is less available memory for other functions which are also dependent on dynamic memory. Try to delete some data like mp3, video, images, messages, themes and some applications. Dont wait for the time your memory is corrupted.. just a friendly advice,,,

  • What does the application memory full box mean

I keep getting the Application Memory Full message. How do I resolve the problem permanently other than temporarily by closing applications?

    Hey there FJRodgers!
I have a couple of articles that should be able to help you address this issue. First, take a look at this article which describes the issue:

  • Map Loader keeps saying memory full!! (Nokia 5230)

i was trying to download map for Hong Kong which takes 44.9MB
and i tried so hard to squeeze my phone's memory, which has 49MB free now
and also memory card, 76MB free
also i chose memory card as the default memory for storage
yet when i click download it still says memory full
    can anyone please help

That is a bit of a tight squeeze. I would advice against saving it in the phone memory.
Now, there is a setting in Ovi Maps which limits how much of the memory card you can actually use for map data. Even though there mioght be space on the card, you might still have exceeded this setting. To increase this setting. when in Ovi Maps, goto Settings>Map>Maximum memory use. Increase this as necessary.
