"Application not found" error after deploying

Hi,
I am getting error as "Application not found" after deploying.
When I depoly the project am getting Finished Deployment message in the Deploy Output View followed by a popup message "Application not found".
Please help me in solving this error.

HI,
Enabled application is much different than started application.
When you deploy an application then by default it is in enables state.
under general tab you can see whether application is started or not?
and in reference tab you can see. all the referred application and components. and there you'll know which components is giving problem to your application
so check these tabs and let me know

USB flash memory: "application not found" error

When recently trying to use a USB flash memory stick I was getting an "f:\ application not found" error. I tried all kinds of fixes from Microsoft. Turns out it was caused by Lightroom.
Since the memory stick had photos on it, my computer's Autoplay was trying to launch Lightroom. Problem is, Lightroom is listed as "Lightroom 4.0 64" in the Autoplay menu. I have Lightroom 4.4. As far as I can tell, there's no way I can fix the incorrect "Lightroom 4.0 64" listing. The solution is to remove Lightroom from any Autoplay options.
This is the second such problem I've had with Lightroom. The previous problem was right clicking on a photo file and trying to use the "open with" menu. It worked fine when I had Lightroom 4.3. After updating to Lightroom 4.4, it didn't work. Another Lightroom user found a workaround, which was to rename the Lightroom 4.4 folder back to Lightroom 4.3.
These are both lazy Adobe oversights. You have to realize all the Windows functions that will be affected with an update and make sure they are updated as well. I spent half a day solving this latest USB flash memory error. Get your updating act together.

You don't mention your OS or which version of Outlook you're using.

PCUI Application Not Found eRROR

I would like to use the PCUI, so I was advised to go to transaction se80 select BSP Application from the drop down,type in CRM_BSP_FRAME, click the display button and then click on Pages with Flow Logic. Right click on select.htm and click on test.
This is suppossed to open a browser window where I can find list of BSP Application. Unfortunately whenever click on test I get an error "Application Not Found" together with the url whihc was meant to lead me to
the BSP.
Could anyone help me on this one, we are implementing CRM 4.0 and need it for case management as as other pcui business processes.
We also are implementing the Enterprise Portal, just letting you maybe you caould advise on how best to go about this scenario.

Thank you so much Manuel, Frederick, and SAP Addict for the assistance, you know what I think its my computer that has a problem, because I decided to login from another machine and fortunately when I tried to open the PCUI it did not give me the No Application Error Found message. Instead it is giving me a Network Access Message Error.
On the other hand when I use the machine upon which the Enterprise Portal is being developed, I receive the following error:
"This browser is not supported"of which the default browser is Mozilla. We changed it back to Internet Exp, and the error this time after I logged using my GUI user name and password was a RABAX30 error.
So with regards my error "Application Not Found eRROR" what could be the possible cause, could it be that there are some GUI componentes missing or what???????

Time machine fails backing up with a "backup disk not found" error after upgrade to Lion 10.7.2

Time machine fails backing up with a "backup disk not found" error after upgrade to Lion 10.7.2. I've erased and reformatted the drive; reconnected Time Machine(it saw it) and began a new backup. The backup starts again but fails before completing with backup drive not found error. I used the 10.7.2 combo update. Any help on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

After waiting since October for a fix, I have now upgraded the firmware on the Time Capsule and installed the new Airport Utility, released yesterday, and the situation is even worse.
Up until now, the Airport Utility had an option to disconnect all drives manually and the Time Capsule would then work until the next reboot – a temporary (?) work-around.
Now that option does not exist in the new-look Airport Utility. And the Airport Utility installation can’t be rolled back and the old utility won’t restore.
The sparesbundle is still not accessible. Anyone worked out a work-around in the new environment yet?
I have another Time Machine backup working fine to a trusty old Lacie Drive so erased the one on my Time Capsule to see if that works. I have renamed the Capsule and the Time Capsule Drive. But to build another full backup will take at least two days and I shall be away from tomorrow and am reluctant to leave the Capsule and computer up and running for a week. And I’ll bet the sparsbundle will still be nowhere to be found.
How can Apple screw up so badly when they are to become the richest company in the entire world and – soon – will have more cash in the bank than the entire United States? Can’t they afford someone who really can sort this out? Especially when a Firewire connected hard drive – my trusty and simple LaCie – works fine.

"Page not found" error after 5 minutes of see "processing" on the screen

We are using WebLogic 8.1 server and also the WebLogic proxy as our front end. When a user runs a process that takes over 5 minutes using the Proxy URL they receive an IE "Page not found" error after 5 minutes of seeing "processing" on the screen. If they run it on none Proxy URL (directly on WebLogic server) it works fine.
We have looked into the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter and set in the web.xml for both the HttpClusterServlet and HttpProxyServlet, but this had no affect.
Is there another timeout that controls this 5 minute timeout? It seems if one uses Apache and sets the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter to a higher number than 300 seconds there is not an issue.
Did this parameter get omitted for the WebLogic Proxy and if so, what does one use?

But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
Kernel parameter: rdisp/gui_auto_logout
Kernel parameter: rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.

404 Not Found Error after 5.2 SP04 Patch04 deployment

Hi,
Today I did an installation and deployment of the 5.2 SP04 Patch 04 to one of our standalone
SAP ME Application Servers. The installation and deployment worked without any error.
However afterwards I could not login to SAP ME on the patched server.
I get a 404 Not found error page after entering my site, login and password. The page I am being redirected
to is http://<appserver>:50000/manufacturing/j_security_check?VALIDATE=true
The real funny thing started right after when I discovered that my other SAP ME Application Server (Which has
not been patched and is on 5.2 SP04 Patch03) started showing the same error message.
Anybody has an idea on what is going on?

Yes both my SAP ME Database servers (WIP and ODS) are up and running.
After restaring my patched server this morning I found that before I get the 404 error during login I get a
message saying License file corrupted 11904.
On my other application server I don't get license file corrupted. There I get the 404 error but when I try to login again right after I am already logged in to SAP ME and can run the application.

File not found error after log on to ADF application

I just took over an ADF application, after clicking on log in button, in the application_log, there is always a login.jspx -- file not found error message, the directory is not even exist. somehow the application had 'registered ' an directory for the login page, common\skin\login.jspx, the actural log in page is under common\login.jspx.
there is a loginfilter.java created and has a entry in web.xml. the login Filter has let httpServerRequest object to know that the login file directory is ..\common\login.jspx
so why the app server would be looking at the wrong directory? how should I do to correct it?

Error "Error ERR-1014 Application not found. " after Installing APEX 40

i have installed apex 4 to an existing apex 3.2 installation (oracle 11g windows) with oracle http Server.
i follow the installations guide and install the full version.
I try to call "http://dmsapex:7777/pls/apex/apex_admin" and it works and i can admin my application and see my existing workspace
i try to call "http://dmsapex:7777/pls/apex/apex" and it does not work. i get follw error message in the browser (IE8):

Thanks mo**** . I executed @apxdvins from my extracted oracle directory using the followin procedure and it was working properly.

You need to change your directory to the directory where apxdvins.sql iis available. Mostly this is Apex extracted directory.
$ SQLPLUS/NOLOG
SQL> CONNECT SYS AS SYSDBA
@apxdvins
This will take some time.
If you want you can also do this extra steps in SQL mode:
shutdown
startup
alter user anonymous account unlock;
ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = APEX_040000;

I am trying to install itunes on my computer (Windows Vista). After initial instillation I got an error 42404 A required itunes componenet is not installed; please repair or re-intall itunes and error 50, cannot access itunes store at this time. Please try later. I have done that multiple times; uninstalled all components, reinstalled all components, repaired all components, restarted my computer. I have changed firewall settings to allow acess to all of the apple components. I have made sure the required ports are open. All of the components are showing on the installed programs section of my control panel.
I am now getting an error message that says that Apple Support Application is not found error 2 (windows 5). It is listed in the installed programs and I have repaired it.
I am out of options. And help would be appreciated.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

404 page not found error after upgrade to 4.0 from 3.x

We developed this application in 1.6 and a couple years ago upgraded to 3.2. We've just upgraded the Production version to 4.0.0 (that's what was on the Dev box). I understand that the template we used when developing it is now obsolete and I added some stuff to make it work properly (found tips here). In Dev it seemed to work correctly but now that it's in production we're getting a 404 Page not found error which "seems" to only occur after a search returns some results and you change the search criteria and try to rerun the search with this modified criteria without first leaving that page (if you click to a different tab and back before changing the search criteria you don't get the error). It doesn't matter which criteria field you change (date, text, LOV) the error comes up consistently. The criteria is submitted via a button (Go request). It's a PL/SQL function body returning SQL query. The only processes that are run is a Reset Pagination on the Go request.
Is there some quick setting that can be changed that causes this? Or something in 4.0 that is different that I need to change when submitting a page, etc... I can't see anything in the debug & all the variables do have appropriate values.

A column in the search results was changed to a Simple Checkbox when we upgraded to 4.0 (it has always been a checkbox in the older APEX versions). When I put it back to Standard Report Column I no longer get the page not found error.
Is there some additional/different setting I need to do in order to use the simple checkbox option in a search results set?
ETA: I see now that Checkboxes are not intended to work in standard report regions so I'll change them to LOVs or something and my problem should be solved.

Page not found error after logging into oiddas

Hi all,
I have configured reverse proxy setup for my application server. from external portal is accessible( with proxy hostname externally and internally after login from internet) and also sso server administration site (same as portal ) but when i am trying to access oiddas page i am not able to login and i am getting page not found error. for ssocfg.sh i have given proxyHostName and proxyPort with https and i can see external name and it is redirected with external name for sso authentication but when i logged in i am getting page not found with http 404 msg and i have followed many docs in metalink w.r.t this error but couldn't resolve after too many trials and registrations. could someone help me on this. let me know if you need any information my internal address is http://localhost.localdomain.com:7777/ external(proxy)- https://portal.localdomain.com/

But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
Kernel parameter: rdisp/gui_auto_logout
Kernel parameter: rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.

Application not found error while runing webdynpro application

Dear Experts,
I have created one simple web dynpro application but it is not runnig. It is giving APPLICATION NOT FOUND exception. Only internet explorer is installed in my pc as a webbrowser.
I cannot set internet explorer as default browser becz i dont have rights to do that.
Is there any option available in SAP NWDS for set internet explorer as default browser. I m using SAP NWDS 7.0.13 version.

thanks Anil..i read and did all recommended...removed back slash from dbc file, checked connection, the database connection is alive, i can see apps objects,created a new apps user within the application with my name and the framework resps assisnged...

File not found error after database migration

Hi experts
I recently decided to create a test environment for SharePoint 2010 production server but after
attach the content database using power shell successfully I get “ file not found “ error when I try to login the top site collection
I think it’s because of customized master page in production site which I don’t know how to apply them to my new environment.I even tried to copy the master pages from cataloge throught SPD but it didnt work.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Application not found error message

Everytime I try to download a purchased or free ebook (e.g. from Digital Editions site) I get the same error message: it lists the folder name of my temporary internet files\Content.IE5\Y9BKTFY\URLLink[22].acsm then it says Application not found. The code of numbers and letters changes but it is always the full address of the temporary internet folder and then acsm at the end. I have have reinstalled digital editions several times and I have 1.7.1079 version. I could download e-books before Christmas. I turned my firewall off but it didn't make any difference. I tried the bookshop I bought the books from but they couldn't help. I managed the first four from the free page of Digital Editions but not any more. I've tried searching for answers on-line and even opened a web case with Adobe but haven't heard anything. Can anyone help please?

Try following the steps in that article, which will have you remove iTunes, Apple Application Support and the other bundled software. Make sure to follow the steps under Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled too, then download and install iTunes again.
