Application outside screen!

I am a complete beginner, but Eagle 5.1 (from www.cadsoft.de), THE application I am dependent on is located outside the screen, meaning that it is visible from using Exposé. All I can do is Force quitting it, but it starts back at the same location again.

1. Nope, there is only one item under "Windows".
2. Found "EAGLE.plist" and moved it to desktop, started Eagle again, same behaviour.

After starting and quitting Eagle, there is no new file in Preferences, but on the other hand I couldn't do anything from inside the invisible program so there should be no info to write back.
And about cmd-Q, well thanks, the first thing I wrote was that I was a complete newbie, the learning curve is rather steep and the manual supplied with the computer is not the fattest I've seen.
I did migrate from Windows to ubuntu Linux abt 18 months ago and that was also a lot of new things to learn, although it was rather straightforward. I suppose there will be a lot of sudo here in the Mac OS community before I get things going as I intend.
Compared to anything alse I've tried, the functionality integration between the OS and the computer is the best I ever saw so far.

WD application-selection screen - Parameter passing error

In my WD application selection screen I am using a parameter(COSP-VERSN)
When i read this using read context i am getting an error saying "Could not find attribute KOKRS"
In context I have created a node with COSP-VERSN. My Kokrs will be contstant everytime.
For getting my version I need to pass KOKRS values.How can overcome this issue?

Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

Application outside oc4j home

Hello,
Could anybody help me to configure my application outside the default <oc4j home>. Suppose my application is "myapp" located at c:\project\myapp then after creating Web-inf\classes for the servlets and JavaBeans where do I keep jsp, static html, images, stylesheets, javascripts so that I can access my JSP pages in the browser as - http://<host>:<port>/myapp/welcome.jsp
and servlets as - http://<host>:<port>/myapp/WelcomeServlet

You might want to check these logfiles:
D:\product\10.1.3.2.0\OracleAS_10\j2ee\home\applications\demantra\demantra\logs\collaborator.log
D:\product\10.1.3.2.0\OracleAS_10\j2ee\home\applications\demantra\demantra\logs\integration.log
These logfiles should give you more clues. Seems it is missing some "objects", but what these objects are is rather undefined.

Possible to anchor applications to screen similar to Notification Center behavior

Is there way to anchor applications to screen similar to the way Notification Center anchors itself to the right edge of my screen?
Sample use cases:
- Anchor Messages app to the right side of my display during active chat sessions
- Anchor Calendar app to the right side of my display during planning sessions

As far as Messages is concerned it depends which window.
The Main Messages window (Window Menu > Messages or CMD + 0) will stay anywhere you put it for the tabbed chats and Interface actions.
The same with Buddy lists if you prefer the "iChat way" of starting Text Chats and Video or Audio Chats.
Outgoing Video chats and Audio Chats will also be remembered as to where you put them.
However incoming Invites are preset and you cannot change them.
Video ones are always top centre (where most people have an Internal Camera)
The Audio one tend to be Top Right below Spotlight in the Menu bar.
Text Chat invites used to also be here in iChat.
I don't use Calendar myself.
My understanding is that it has less windows.
It too should stay where it is put.

Blackberry stuck on Application Permission screen...anyone help?

So my Blackberry is stuck on the "Application Permissions" screen. I have tried a battery pull and it does nothing. I can not use my phone for anything as of now. I have Verzion Wirless as my carrier. Will have to take the phone to a Verzion store or can i fix it somehow?

I had this problem - even the shop where I got the phone was useless! But eventually found the solution here:

If the link doesn't work, the solution is below:
Remove the battery. Then insert the battery while holding the back key (right of the trackball) while the device starts up. When you see the boot screen you can release the button. That should boot the device in safe mode. If it boots up, remove the app that is causing the 'blockage'.
Once you get back out of safe mode, I've found that the phone has reset some of its settings to factory default, like the menus and the screen theme, but at least all the data seems to still be there AND you can now use your phone again!!!

Accessing Web Dynpro application outside portal

Hello alles,
Our customer wants to display a Web Dynpro application result on a regular hmtl intranet page, i.e. without showing the portal.
We have tried with html frames, but end up with a flickering or empty screen. The problem occurs both with a quick link to the application within the portal, an SSO link, a link to the iView, a webdynpro/dispatcher address ...
It seems as if the problem occurs with all WD iViews, but not with e.g. a regular News iView.
Do you have any suggestion on how we could solve this? Reasons?

Application off screen - Mac OS X 10.7

Application is off screen. Happens after using 27inch display. Clearly a resolution issue. Tried everything including playing with the resolution, etc. After looking at several discussions and forums the one that works on my Macbook Air https://discussions.apple.com/message/8012940?messageID=8012940#8012940 does not work on my recently purchased (2 weeks) Macbook Pro 15inch.
After running applescript editor I get this error: error "System Events got an error: Access for assistive devices is disabled." number -25211
Anyone else getting this too?

It sounds like you were running a second display in extended desktop mode.
If the adapter and/or cable for the second monitor is still attached, it can fool the Mac into believing the second monitor is still present. Detaching that cable/adaptr and then restarting should fix it.
You can also try going to System Preferences > Monitors and change the setup from extended mode to mirror mode.

Air application full screen error in Mac OSX 10.7 Lion

Hi
   We have an air application built using Flash Builder 4.5 with 4.5 SDK.
   The air application no problem to run on Windows and Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leapard. However it has full screen issue on Mac OSX 10.7 Lion. When change to full screen mode, the whole screen disappear, press ESC and turn back to normal stage without any issue.
   We then use Flash Builder 4.5 with SDK 4.6 to compile and release, install the air application to Lion OS but still no luck.
   Air 3.1 installed on Lion OS
   Can some one please help?

Accessing HTMLDB application outside of firewall....

If I develop an HTMLDB application on my database server that is inside my corporate firewall, how do I have people outside the firewall access it. Do I need to open one or more ports on the firewall? Using the same situation, is it possible to access this application externally from a Portal page?

As already mentioned this issue is not really an Apex issue, but an issue between your webserver ports and your InfoSec firewall folks. You also want to consider whether the data is sensitive enough to warrant HTTPS with SSL encrypted traffic rather than straight HTTP. At our institution we generally require HTTPS for corporate data but since the encryption requires a lot of processing it affects your application server performance. We have gone to a BigIP switch for all our HTTPS public ports, then from BIgIP to the app server we are behind the firewall and run http. So the Public Portal URL is https to the BigIP which then negotiates with the App servers. Our Network BigIP engineer works out the fiewall rules with our InfoSec folks. This approach offloads all the encryption processing to a dedicated hardware switch rather than to the app server. BigIp also allows for additional rules that can be set up to force certain URLs to require a VPN, for example.

CS 4 Mac Bug? Pallette opens outside screen

Hey!
I'm stuck with this problem:
When I try to render a file from the queue and chose an output format which opens another dialogue-pallette (eg Adobe Clip Notes), this palette somehow opens outside my screen, so that i cant either access the dialogue, nor continue working in AE because I cant click anywhere else. When I switch between Spaces, the pallette shows up for the blink of an eye while switching. I'm working with my MacBook and a second screen so I thought its a multi monitor issue. But when I try all the suggested actions which are availble on the net, i still cant move the palette to my screen. Even when I turn off Spaces the pallette wont show up.
Plase help, I totally lost ont this one!

I allready tried those actions, they didnt work for me. Meanwhile I found a solution. When I have my second screen connected, turn off Spaces and then run a script to bring all windows to the screen... then the pallette comes back to the screen!

Hiding things outside screen in full screen

I've already finished my flash presentation and now I'm
trying to enlarge it to full screen. The problem is that when I do,
it shows some objects outside of the screen on the screen since my
presentation doesn't happen to fit my monitor. How can I make it so
that the presentation enlarges without cutoffs or extras and shows
a black background in the areas outside of the screen when in full

all others - make a ery large rectangle and cut a hole the
same size and shape and position as the
stage. This will hide everything outside of stage and you
wont have the overhead of a mask to worry
about (masks use ram).

Create radio buttons. OnSelect event of radio button write your code to display interactive form.
If you want you can create three veiw for e IF forms. so only one view visible at one time
OR
Create your interactive section in 3 TC container or in TRAY, for each section one TC or TRAY.
Crate on 3 atributes of type WDUI_VISIBILITY and bind this to visible property of container or tray.
In onselect event of radio button based on your selection, use SET_ATTRIBUTE to visible your interactive section bye
passing '01' or '02' values.

Imagine you have a camera and you are taking pictures of your computer screen. You can take a picture of the whole screen or you might zoom in and take a picture of just part of the screen. Panning allows you to move around an application and take pictures of a smaller part of the computer screen.
For example, you open Windows Notepad and you have panning enabled. You move the mouse around and take screen captures. You click four times.
With Panning enabled, you end up with four different areas of Notepad captured. (Four Captivate slides) Similar to the image below.
Each of the slides in Captivate would correspond to the area that was clicked in Notepad.
No panning says to ignore the panning options.
Automatic panning says to follow the mouse automatically.
Manual panning says to allow panning, but only when you (the Captivate author) request it.
