Application over 20MB.

Help please. How to use iTune  on my computer to download games over 20Mb? Iphone did not do it. App appeared on iphone screen but show that loading all time.  In computer I opened iTunes and connected iphone. Next I checked available downloads but nothing. What I have to do? Step by step, please. Thanks in advance.

I bought the Navigon app a few months ago and when the new version 2.0 waqs downloadable, I kept getting the Item is larger than 20 MB message.
Finally, I figured out you needed internet access by turning on WI-FI access. That allowed me to download 1.32 GB of maps.

    My iPad is stuck.

Pressing the OK button does not help.
iPad is unusable as the touch screen does not work because of the pop-up window.
Cannot turn it off - because I need the touch screen for the red slider.

  • Display "Application over 20MB" when I type OK button, the appearance will not go away and make me unable to open other applications, what to do and whether it must be restarted

display "Application over 20MB" when I type OK button, the appearance will not go away and make me unable to open other applications, what to do and whether it must be restarted?

The 20 meg message is the download limit for 3G. If you can't get rid of the 'OK' message then you can do a reset by pressing and holding both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You should be able to download the apps by switching to wifi on your iPad or downloading them on your computer's iTunes and syncing them or dragging and dropping them over to the iPad device.

  • This item is over 20MB. You must connect to a wifi network or use iTunes on your computer to download it.

Verizon wireless network - unlimited data plan.
    iPhone 4 - iOS 5.0
    "This item Is Over 20MB
You must connect to a Wi-Fi
network or use iTunes on your
       computer to download it."
This message was given when trying to update an app I already had installed on the phone. My question is why? Is this a problem with the programming making you connect to the internet via link or Wi-Fi. Or is this a limitation on the Verizon network? Or perhaps a limitation set in place by Apple to prevent long downloads? So I came here hoping to get some hard cold facts. (since Verizon associates would not or simply could not help me)
Personally I could care less if it took 6 hours to download an update. I do however have a problem paying a telephone service an insane rate to get "unlimited data" and not being able to receive unlimited data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have Wifi in the countryside and theres no DSL, only 3G and 4G. why should I have to buy another 3G service when I already have one? This is one of the problems of globalisation, because AT&T cant handle the volume, the whole world has to suffer.
I pay per gigabyte, so dont need these restrictions Apple! Its mine to use.

  • Is there a way for me to "purchase" an app that is over 20mb but free when wifi and home itunes is not accessible?

I wish to purchase an app that is free for a limited time but it is over 20mb.  There is no wifi here at work and I cannot purchase as a gift, as I normally do with discounted apps to lock in the low price, because it is free.  I cannot access my itunes to purchase as I am stuck at work.  I hate to miss a good deal because of these conditions so any suggestions on a way around this so i can lock in the free price would be appreciated.  Thanks.

No there is no settings to do that.

  • I want to download movies on the ipad2 but it says that it's over 20mb and I need to connect to the computer!!! Why is this??

I want to download movies from iTunes on my ipad2 to watch but it keeps coming up " must use wi-fi which I'm pretty sure I have because the size of the movie is over 20mb which I'm not sure what that means please help!!

A 3G iPad will only allow download smaller than 20MB. You need WiFi to download movies.

  • Can we run 32 bit application over 64 bit windows server 2012 ?

Can we run 32 bit application over 64 bit windows server 2012 ?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your question.
Since the two cases that you posted are the same, I will merge them so that you can get a better assistance. Thanks for your understanding
    and support.
In addition, according to your question, it depends on the applications. Some applications designed for the 32-bit version of Windows
will work on the 64-bit version of Windows, but some are not. Before you install the application, you’d better check if it is compatible with 64-bit version of Windows Server 2012.
    Best regards,
    Susie

  • IPhone 4 randomly notifying and over 20MB message no longer appearing.

Hi I have been having a few issues with my iPhone 4 since I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1. First and most annoying is that my iPhone now randomly and for no reason at all, makes the notification sound and vibration (or text message sound). It has happen at all different hours of the day and night with no message or notification appearing afterwards. The second problem I have is that I normally keep wifi off, so normally when I try to download or update an app that is over 20MB, the iPhone notifies me that it won't download those files unless I connect to wifi, but continues with the smaller files. After the upgrade this no longer happens. Instead the iPhone tries to download the file, fails, and no longer notifies me of the over 20MB message nor does it continue to download the smaller files unless I individually select those smaller updates to download.
I have tried a full restore and have tried a setting reset but nothing has worked so far. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to correct it?
    Thanks

I have an iphone 3GS at 5.0 and it does the same thing. For no reason a notification sound will be heard without any notifications in the menu. This has started when once my alarm sound for 1 hour before stopping by itselft. I don't know if it is related...

  • How to put email contacts on IPad2 and update apps over 20mb

I cannot see any of the contacts and need to send emails from Ipad.   Is there anyway to get these.   Also when Trying to update bejeweled it states over 20mb connect to wiifii or use itunes on computer to download.   What does that mean   Will I be able to update the Ipod?   What would wifii do.   My cell phone has internet and states the same thing

Downloads from the iTunes or app store over 20Mb are limited to use only a wifi connection.  So you cannot download them over a 3G connection but would have to wait until you have a wifi connection.  This is supposedly at the behest of the cellular networks so as not to clog their bandwidth, but honestly, they should be able to handle it.

  • Why my apple write the item is over 20mb when i want to buy item? What shall i do to download?

Why my apple write the item is over 20mb when i want to buy item? What shall i do to download item over 20 mb its a new problem

It usually means you're connected to a 3G network and the cell provider won't allow a download that big over the network. Try to download it when you are connected to a WiFi network.

  • Connect to wifi, app over 20mb

Is there anyway to disable the feature "App is over 20mb, please connect to wifi" so I can download large apps in 3G? I have 6GB/month and don't care if it is over 20mb!

    fvlew65 wrote:
I pay for the bigger download option but I can't use it! Any ideas?
No, you're not paying for a bigger download option, you're paying for more data overall for each month.  The data limit per-file is set by your carrier and/or iOS, neither of which can be changed.
