Application Services Not Starting After Oracle Apps 11i Clone

Hi All,
Can any one help me out on this ........
EBS: 11.5.9
Database: 9.2.0.3.0
After the cloning oracle Application Apache, Concurrent managers and other services are up and running perfectly but my forms and reports services are not coming up.
It is showing time out when i tried to start the services. Please find the below

But it is not default ORACLE. Checked in dbc , xml and fnd_user table. Changed it to default ORACLE in xml file and ran the adautocfg.sh

Certificate Issue in web services Using j2ee in oracle apps 11i

I am working with web services integration in oracle apps 11i. I used j2ee technology. I installed j2eesdk-1_4_03 and test with j2eetutorial. I have to integrate third party payment system with web services in oracle apps 11i. I run following commands in putty
build: asant build
packing: asant create-war
deploy: asant deploy-war
client java:
compile: asant build
run: asant run
While i run the "asant run" command, i got below the error
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found
I added third party certification but i got same error which i mentioned above.
Is any certification or settings need for run the web services in ebs.

I do the settings according to your advice, i got below error when i run below command to add certificate to keystore.
command:
keytool -import -keystore /usr/j2ee/jdk/jre/lib/security/cacerts -file /usr/Class3G2.cer
Error:
keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 certificate

Oracle and Instance Service Not Starting After Win2K Service Pack 4 Install

Please help
We are running Oracle 8.1.6 on Windows 2000 Server and everything ran fine. Our Network Admin installed Windows service pack 4 and now after a reboot we have to manually go in and start Oracle because it does not start automaticially.
I've looked everywhere and cannot find any documented resolution to this problem.

CRS not starting after Oracle 11g Grid was succesuflly installed

Hi:
Have 2 node RAC. My Shared storage is on openfiler.
Oracle 11g Grid was successfully installed and all the services was working fine. When i restarted the system I found CRS was not coming up. Remaining processes were up and running.
Let me explain what I did: (O/s RHEL 5.4 & oracle 11g R2 grid)
I have a partition in shared disk /dev/sdc1 (I have other partitions, but thought of using only one for OCR and voting disk). (did not define it as raw partition as I used to do in 10g RAC).
While installing Oracle grid and when it prompted to enter the Diskgroup for OCR and Voting disk I gave a name DGDATA and choose only one (external redundancy) disk “/dev/sdc1″ (it does not ask for one for OCR and one for Voting as it used to do in 10g clusterware installation). As per my assumption both OCR and Voting disk were created within /dev/sdc1 (after installation when I queried I got the same info)
The Oracle grid installation has gone through successfully. when I restart the system I find CRS not starting.
The log says: “Error PROC:26: Error while accessing the physical storage ASM……..
ORA-01034: oracle not available...
Could not init OCR, code:26….
Linux permission denied".
For your information….ASM instance is up (check in both the nodes) and I find the diskgroup mounted.
Can anyone help on this.
Also let me know how to uninstall Oracle 11g Grid software and configuration. If I have to reinstall the Oracle 11g grid software and config once again is it possible without reinstalling RHEL. Let me know the steps or any link please. don't want to get into a mess again.

Jorg, I even tried to nomount the DB instance using initDBRAC.ora pfile. Then tried to create spfile still got the same error.

The demo BPEL application does not start in Oracle AS...

I'd like to try out the OrderBooking BPEL demo application (what can be got from "http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/webservices/index.html" page), but I cannot, because when I try to launch the webapplication (which will start the BPEL process), I get the next error message in the Mozilla Firefox:
500 Internal Server Error
Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
The application an EAR file, which consists of 2 part:
- productEJB.jar
- soaui.war

Listener service not starting after installation (10g on WinXP)

I installed 10.2.0.1 on a Windows XP machine, but for some reason the listener service does not start up. If I start the service from the Windows service control panel I get:
The service "OracleOraDB10g_home1TNSListener" on "Local Computer" could not be started. Error 3: The system could not find the specified path."
The path for the servicing exe is "G:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\BIN\TNSLSNR", which is the correct path.

Hi Florian,
my understanding was that on Windows ORACLE_HOME is stored in the registry.
I have a correct path to my Oracle home directory under "HKLM\Software\Oracle\KEY_OraDB10g_home1\ORACLE_HOME".
Following your suggestion, I added a Windows environment variable "ORACLE_HOME" that points to the Oracle home directory, rebooted and tried to start the service again, but nothing changed.

HP dv3-2000 audio service not start after i run uniblue powersuite. event log says can't find path.

after i run uniblue powersuite to clean up my registry, speedup my pc and update my drivers, I cannot start my dv3-2000 laptop. After I updated the BIOS, following the suggestion on the forum, I can get the vista start but no sound. I then checked the event log which says the audio service cannot start because it can't find the path specified. How can I solve this problem?

If the printer is connected USB to the Windows 7 machine, what you can do is share it to the network (assuming the XP computer is also connected to the same network). This way the XP machine can see the printer on the Windows 7 computer and install it. The only drawback is that the Windows 7 computer will need to be powered on for the XP computer to be able to see and print to it. Exchange replication service not starting after installing Rollup update 3 v3

Hi,
I have installed rollup update 3 v3 for exchange 2010 sp1 on my mailbox server. This mailbox server is a DAG member. After installing update rollup, Microsoft exchange replication service on this server attempts to start & show status started for couple
of seconds & then gets stopped. This behaviuor continues untill i uninstall this rollup. I have installed the same rollup on other DAG member as well with no problem. The following errors are generated in the application logs,

I hope you are following the best practice to install rollup on DAG.
Suspend activation for the databases on the server being updated.
Perform a server switchover so that all databases on the server are passive copies. There will be a brief interruption in service for the mailboxes hosted on the active databases during the switchover process.
Install the update rollup.
Resume activation for the databases on the updated server.
Perform database switchovers as needed.

Services not starting after a node crash

hi
We have a 3 node cluster and one of the nodes crashed today, also the services did not get relocated to the other node and when we try to manullay stop/start/relocate the service we get the following error
srvctl stop service -d BCB -s BCB_J2EE -f
PRCD-1085 : Failed to stop service BCB_J2EE
PRCR-1065 : Failed to stop resource ora.BCB.BCB_j2ee.svc
CRS-2533: Server 'bcb528' is down. Unable to perform the operation on 'ora.BCB.BCB_j2ee.svc'
Would anyone has seen this before

OBIEE 11.1.1.5 presentation service not started after fresh installtion

hi all,
we have installing OBIEE 11.1.1.5 64bit in AIX machine. after fresh installation all the services are up and running.
once we restart the OPMN services, all the services are up except presentation service..
System Environment:
OS : AIX 7.1 TL03 64bit
OBIEE : OBIEE11.1.1.5 64bit
Installation type : Enterprise
DB : 11gR2
kindly guide us to find out the root cause..

we have already done what u suggest and reinstall whole OBIEE include DB also ...but still we are facing this issue..
any other ways to start presentation service....

Services not starting after upgrading the secondary acs 4.0.1

Hi
I upgraded 2 ACS ver 3.3.2 servers to ver 4.0.1 the upgrade worked perfectly fine but when I restarted the secondary acs, the ACS services are on starting status and CSlogs service shows stopping.
any idea why?

Applications crashing/not starting after update to Gnome3.6

So, I updated to Gnome3.6 two days ago and since then serveral applications aren't working properly anymore:
Pidgin crash when I try opening a conversations window (only tried with ICQ) - interestingly deleting and readding the ICQ-account works as a temporary solution (until the next reboot).
Winefish shortly shows that it is starting and then disapears.
gnome-tweak-tools and gnome-control-center don't start.
audacious crashs when I try opnening the settinggs as well as tring to access the details for a song.
Nautilus crashs when opening the properties of a file or directory.
GIMP crashes when opening an image or creating a new image.
I suspect that all these actions invoke the same troublesome funktion...
I tried deinstalling gnome and reinstalling it, but that didn't change anything.

I have successfully resolved this issue on my PC by allowing updater.exe through the firewall. This updater.exe is located in the folder where your Mozilla Firefox was installed. The default folder is "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updater.exe"
