Application shows only in small area in portal..how 2make it appear in full

hey guys,
we created a new IVEW using template (SAP TRANSACTION IVEW) and linked that to page..
the problem is in portal the desired window is shown only in small part of screen,one has to click in OPEN IN NEW WINDOW to see the full screen...how to make the screen visible in entire space...

I don't know what happend to my Centro. My son was playing with it (yeah I know mistake #1) and when I had gotten it back I went to log onto espn.com and none of the pictures would show only a small picture frame with what looks like a sun set over blue waters with a red sky. I went to other websites (cnn, flickr, and so on) but no pitures will show up. What could be the problem?

Check your settings in Blazer. Sounds like you've changed it to "Fast Mode" for displays.
Tap the Lightning bolt icon at the top of Blazer, and see if it's set to Fast Mode. Change it to "Normal".
Pictures should load now.

I have looked onlime at several threads and there are no real answers as to what I need to do or am doing wrong.

I am also having this issue.
I've just spoken to someone in the Apple Support Centre who advised me that since the product is in beta, he is unable to assist. I wanted to find out whether someone was able to delete the data for me, or 'reset' the photos app somehow. This apparently cannot be done. He suggested I provide feedback via the feedback page, which I will do, but to be honest doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in the issue being fixed.
I also deactivated the service and waited the 30 days for the pictures to be deleted - this should have been completed in mid-January. Instead, my iCloud.com Photos page is now showing the photos that should have been deleted as grey squares, just as you described. I am also unable to delete these photos; every time I try, I get the same message about a server error.
I am also unable to disable the service by enabling and then disabling it on my iPhone. Each time I have tried this it hangs on uploading for several hours, with the progress bar not moving at all. When I disable it on my iPhone, the web app remains unchanged.
If anyone has had this issue and has managed to fix it, PLEASE share your wisdom. I am out of patience!

Design Studio 1.3 applications shows only white screen on Mobile BI App (iPad)

Hello Design Studio friends,
after upgrading or BI platform (4.1) Design Studio Add-On from version 1.2 to 1.3 we could no errors, everything works fine. But now we have the issue, that all of our Design Studio Applications do not work on iPad.
All mobile Applications are listed correctly in the overview in the Mobile BI App. But after starting one application the loading screen is running and after loading only a white screen is displayed. No data, no components, no variables screen etc.
Do you have any idea about the reason of our problem?
Here some additonal information, what we have done:
After upgrade we restartet the BIP and checked that all services are running.
We saved new Design Studio 1.3 Applications on BIP.
We run the Design Studio Applications local (everything works) over BIP on Desktop clients (everything workds), via Mobile BI App (iPad iOS7, newest iOS Version and newest App version) (only white screens are shown).
We deleted all metadata on iPad and reconnected to our BIP.
Our DataSources, integrated in the Design Studio 1.3 applications, are based on SAP BW Queries of a BW 7.4 system.

I deleted the mobile BI App from my iPad and installed it again (newest version).
No changes, after loading the Design Studio Application only a white screen is shown.
I cannot find a relevant Part in the App protocol (Debug Mode).

ACE Implementation - Want to show only opportunities which are associated

I have read the article by Boris Dingenouts - The concept and implementation of CRM-ACE I am able to understand the concept but dont know how to use this concept for my requirement.
My requirement is to show only those opportuinties which are associated with the accounts which are associate with the logged in user.
What will be the Object here - whether I have to treat opportunity or Account as the object. What I have write in GET_OBJECTS_BY_FILTER.
GET_ACTORS_FROM_USER will remain the same as article.
GET_ACTORS_FROM_OBJECTS what code I have to write.

Hi Jaya,
1) I think you should treat account as an object and in Objects by Filter, you will select all objects as per you requirement.
2) All objects selected above would pass into Actors from objects and then you select actors as per your requirement for these objects. The actors determined as per logic would be then mapped with the corresponding objects in tables.

Why does Thunderbird 31.1.2 see .url files as text documents? As a result, opening with any browser shows only text that are properties of the .url.

I have an email with .url attachments. When I click on them I get a messages similar to this:

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
There have also been fonts with a Chinese name reported that identify themselves as Helvetica, so check that as well.
Use this test to see if the Helvetica font is causing it (Copy & Paste the code in the location bar and press Enter):

You should reset the network.http prefs that show user set on the about:config page. 
Not all websites support http pipelining and if they do not then you can have issues with images or other problems.

HT203171 Only a small area on the right side of my magic trackpad is working after using a USB mouse temporarily.

I have been using my trackpad for several months with no issues. This week the bateries died and I had to use a USB mouse temporarely.
After installing the new bateries and connecting the trackpad only a portion on the right side of the trackpad is working (about 1 inch band from top to bottom).
Does anyone have a solution to recalibrate the trackpad?

I reported the issue last week. I have no idea what in the world is going on with the support pages.
Right now none of them work!
Anyway, luckily the Spanish support page for your model works (when the general support site comes back up).
You should be able to figure out what driver you need for your USB3 controller...
Enter your model number on the english support site and then change the country at the bottom.
Don't bother trying the Australian or UK english sites because they don't work either.

Screen Sharing authentication fails or shows only a small black box

I've been working on a issue and as I found a solution only by collecting bits of help from all over the web, I thought I could help somebody else by posting it here, where I found lots of help on other issues myself.
Here's the topic: I couldn't connect to my 10.5.7 OS X Server via Screen Sharing anymore. Everything else worked fine, i.e. I could login to all other services (AFP, LoginWindow, VPN, etc.).
I saw some strange errors in my Kerberos-Server log. As I thought of an OD or Kerberos problem, I tried different things concerning these services. Running "kinit <yourusername>" got me to the point where the authentication didn't fail anymore, but all I could see was a little (i.e. ~ 100x200px) black box instead of my server's screen.
The problem finally turned out to be NOT connected to my strange log entries but with somehow having turned on "Remote Management" in Server Admin. Here's my solution to it:
1. Turn off "Remote Management".
Server Admin -> Settings -> General, tick off "Remote Management"
2. Turn on Screen Sharing.
2.1 ssh to your server.
2.2. cd /Library/Preferences
2.3. echo -n enabled > com.apple.ScreenSharing.launchd
That's it after that I was able to log in again. Thanks goes to a lot of folks out there in the web, not to me.

Ios6 when asking Siri to find me a cinema it shows only 2 that are about 50 miles away

Connect the iPad to your computer that will be used for syncing, be sure you are running the latest version of iTunes (10.5) and follow the onscreen instructions.

How to show only Indexes in Search Scope

Is it possbile to allow users to choose only Indexed in search scope.
I tried editing the Search Options set, there i found that I can enable and disable search scope, but whn search scope is enabled both the Indexes and folders are visible.
I want to show only Indexes to the user. How can I hide the folder options alone in the search scope?

Instead of using the Search Options set in the KM Search iView, use the Search Component Set.
Create your own Search Component Set by going to System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge management > Content Management > User Interface > Search > Search Components
While creating the Search Component Set, Specify Component for Search Options as search_input_indexes.
This should help you.
Or you could do the following.
In the Search Options set, Do the following.
1) Uncheck Enable Search Scope Selection.
2) Provide the various index names in Search Index IDs (csv)
The above option would by default search the selected indexes for the search term and would not provide the user with the functionality of searching in folders.

Authorizations BW: Show only data authorized instead of authorization popup

Hello World!
I am having troubles setting up authorizations in BW queries:
Some users only have authorizations for seeing some 0salesorg at roles, but when they execute a query, instead of showing only data related to their sales organization a popup appears saying that they do not have authorization enough.
The objective is that all queries behave as if data from all other sales organizations did not exist!
Any idea on how to solve this issue? thanks in advance!

I already solved my problem.
Asking around in my job somebody told me that this is an expected behavior called "all-or-nothing", meaning that if you only have authorization for some of the data you requested none will be shown.
The only way I found to simulate the behavior I was trying to achieve has been using two variables, the first one is normal and ready for input, the user will fill this one in the query selection, the other is a customer exit which will be filled with all values in authorizations in case the first variable is empty. Authorizations values are found in tables.

Is it possible to filter a grid to show only quarters which are certain time before certain date?
Example- grid displays sales per quarter (for all years) filtered by customer.
I would like the grid to display only quarters from a quarter before the customer's birthdate (which is a customer attribute).
