I'm using applications and some of them are been displayed off my screen, allowing me to see only part of the application.

Try booting from your OSX installation disk and use Disk Utility to repair permissions on the drive.

Import dialog box displaying off screen

When I'm in the office, I work in a dual-monitor environment.
However, when working at home, I have only my laptop monitor.
If I need to import something - html file, template file,
etc. - the dialog box is displaying off screen.
I've shut down and restarted, but still the same result. When
I try to resize the RH window, it resizes off screen.
My display properties indicate only one monitor.
How to fix?

Sounds like you need some multiple monitor managing software.
Try these:
MultiMon (Free)
click here
UltraMon (Paid)
click here
Other than that, you can try flying blind and navigating
using the keyboard or maybe bump your resolution to the highest
possible setting and perhaps that will bring the dialog either
partially or totally into view.

Application monitor node display off

Hi All,
I am using SRM 4.0. Strangely I am running into lot of troubles in SRM since yesterday as there was a mess up in the batch jobs.
Now, we are having an issue with Application monitor. It is not showing any error message in ITS, but I could see some error messages in RZ20. In ITS, when I click on "Display all" under purcashe order or confirmations in application monitor, it used to show the errors or it will say no error. But now it is showing GUI - RZ20 screen with a message "Node Display off".
I have tried by restarting the Application monitor, but it didn;t help.
Could you please help me to fix this?

Applications are not displayed in CMC

Hello, Experts,
One simple question, have you ever encountered the problem that the applications cannot be displayed in CMC? And advice to fix it?
I just upgraded my system to 4.1 SP3 Patch1 (from 4.0 SP4), and when I go to "CMC >> Applications" I get below windows, no application are listed. Cannot configure anymore.
The system itself works find, I executed some tests and the results are positive.
It seems a silly problem, but I already tried reposcan; repaire intallation; re-deploy all web apps; re-create SIA with default servers, didn't get it resolved.
I upgraded my sandbox before, and didn't have this problem. So it's not a defect of this version.
I'm opening a ticket at support site. But maybe I can get some valuable advice from you also.

Thanks for the indicative advice.
I'll try my luck to repair patch1 installation right away. (Have to uninstall and install again, as patch cannot be repaird, that's about 4 hours to go )
Recreate SIA doesn't help. In the worst case, I have to rollback and re-do the installation today.
DFO issue
If the DFOs are the root cause, I have to say they are so unpredicable and it's a nightmare no workaround to fix them.
The installation completed without error, I never thought it's might related.
I had similiar lesson learn when upgrading to BO4.0, some DFOs got lost during the installation, and the only solution is rollback and redo everything.
Hopefully support team will provide me a lighter solution. I'll keep it posted here.

My laptop meets minimum display resolution for Lightroom 5 but bottom of windows display off-screen

I installed Lightroom 5.3 on my older Lenovo laptop with 1280x768 native screen resolution. When I open Lightroom and try to set up preferences, the lower part of the preferences window is displayed off the bottom of the screen and I am unable to move it up to make changes. The same thing happened when it asked me to download the update to 5.5; I could not get to the bottom of the window to say yes.
The Lightroom 5 specs say the minimum display resolution required to use Lightroom 5 is 1024 x 768 display. My laptop exceeds that.
I am using Windows 7 64bit and LR 5 64bit.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Any chance you have set display scaling to Larger - 150% in Windows 7 display settings? It is possible that that is affecting the display size of LR.

HELP! I shut down my macbook pro and now after applications have been in full screen mode for awhile they automatically minimize and it takes me back to the desktop. How do I fix this?

I should add that this has happened before and I feel like it was a quick un-toggling of a box in my settings, but I can not remember what to do.

Cannot get Month and Year display off screen

In Iphoto 6 I have photos that I imported. I cannot get the middle dark oval in the center of the screen to stop displaying on the photos.
It makes it very difficult to edit the photos when I cannot see the center of the photo.
How do I stop the display of the month and date

In iPhoto Preferences, Appearance, uncheck "Show scrolling information."

ITunes displaying off screen

No matter what I do, everytime I open itunes it will display in such a way I can' resize the window to reach my options at the bottom. Even moving the dock to the left doesn't give me what I need.

Everything the bar on the top, and the dock have been pushed off screen. Everything is larger. It's an easy solution, what is it please? Thank you.

Or, Zoom (not mouse zoom) may have been activated. To check for that, go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing and ,ake sure Zoom is turned off.
Note that there is a keyboard shortcut to enable and disable that Zoom. To prevent it from being accidentally activated, you can go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts, select Universal Access in the left pane, then uncheck the applicable items in the right pane.

... AFAIC Location Services is a joke.
With both devices sitting side by side on my kitchen table, Location Services has NEVER shown the devices to be any where close to each other, and at times Location Services has been as much as a 1/4 of a mile off between the two devices.
Your iPod Touch has no GPS receiver so determining its location relies upon wireless routers whose location is known. Its "location" is actually that of a wireless router. Your iPhone 4 can use GPS, cellular triangulation, and Wi-Fi. One would think GPS would be most accurate but urban areas have a greater density of cells and GPS signals are easily obstructed so cellular triangulation is often more accurate.
Therefore the two devices' locations can be expected to be different. Differences of a quarter mile are easily explained if you understand how location services works: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1975

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall chargerLeave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display doesRemove the batteryWait 15 minutesInsert the batteryWait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display doesThis has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happensObtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happensThe results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.  If possible, you could also attempt to boot into Safe Mode:KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe ModeIt may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. How to get back windows that are off screen?

I use my macbook at work with one attached display, and then at home with a different attached display. The two extra displays are different sizes. A lot of times when I plug it into the smaller of the two displays, some of the windows come up off screen and I can't figure out how to drag them back on. For example now I have a Microsoft Word window where the bottom half is on the screen, and the top half is up above the top of the screen. The only way I know to move a window is to grab the top edge and drag it, but the top edge is off the screen so I can't do that.
Also sometimes a window is bigger than the screen height, and the only way I know to make it smaller is to drag the bottom right corner, but the bottom right corner is off the screen and the window height is bigger than the monitor height.
Is there a way to get these windows back all the way onto the screen? Thanks.

This is one of the most serious flaws of the Macintosh, and in many instances there is just NO answer. You could resort to writing a script using the Script Editor, but this seems a tough way to get round what is essentially a bug in the OS - it has been there for over 20 years and I don't think Apple are about to realise that the age of multiple screens and changing screen sizes is here NOW and it is time to change so we can resize from any border like all other modern OSs.

No problem.
This is a user forum so you are not addressing Apple. There's nothing to fix, that's how home-sharing works. There would be no way for the ATV to recognize your library and display content if the computer is in sleep mode.
You can always airplay from an IOS device or use icloud if you don't wish to keep the computer on.
