Applications Badge still showing 1 to update - but nothing to update !
This has been going on quite a while - in the left hand pane it will say "Applications" and have the number 1 next to it - but yet when i go to have a look, there are no updates
Does anyone know how to remove it ? I don't know why it thinks it's still got one left !
I finally got rid of my phantom number 1 by selecting all my applications and deleting them from iTunes. When the option to "keep files" or "move to trash" appeared, I selected "keep files". Then, I restarted iTunes, selected File -> Add to Library and selected all the applications in iTunes -> Mobile Applications. Got them all back in the library without the mysterious number 1 that had refused to go away.

Hey everyone,
I have the usual number of apps to be updated next to the Apps Icon under Library in iTunes, but when I click "X updates available", there's nothing to update.
Any thoughts?

Go into your puchased tab and download each update (you'll find the app icons with little update banners on them.)
Alternatively, if you sync with a computer, you can use the iTunes on your computer to download the updates then sync them onto your device.
Or you can be patient and wait for Apple to fix the issue -
Getting Angry Bird App updates, but nothing is updated after updating
I got the notices that there's updates for Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio, and Angry Birds Season. I download the updates, go to the apps, and NOTHING has been updated. I remember there being some type of message saying something along the lines of "you have already downloaded this app but has not been updated. Please connect to computer......" i clicked on update, they've been updated! I went ahead and connected to computer and still, nothing! Whats the problem!?
I faced the Same Issue. It is resolved by changing the language at Settings-->General-->International-Language. Change the Current Language ( I have changed it from British English to English). Then after a succesful change, Go to Appstore- Updates. The Issue is resolved. Now go back to your original Setting (if required)

My iMac seems to have frozen during the update- how long should I expect the update to take? The 'installing software update' bar is still showing itself working but has been stuck in the same position for over an hour. Any thoughts?
Update2: There is something very wrong with wireless on mountain lion recovery. I don't know what the problem is, but this link may explain:

Wireless recovery would start out with over 25 hours estimated and kept on failing. It turns out to be a two step process of downloading a few Mbytes then a 4Gbyte .dmg file, but I couldn't even download the Mbyte file. I bought the thunderbolt to gigabit ethernet adapter, plugged it in, restarted recovery and download of a little more than 4Gbytes took less than an hour. My limiting factor was probably comcast home internet rate of 12Mbps. The wi-fi wireless connection should be able to do over 100Mbps, so wireless shouldn't be much slower than wired, except wi-fi wireless is broken. Now that ML is installed and updated, wi-fi seems fine now, as I am using it right now, but I haven't tried downloading a big file yet.
Don't use wi-fi wireless for Mountain Lion recovery. -
I get a notice that says a security and stability update is recommended for Fire Fox 3.6.15. When I click to update a bar appears showing attempt to contact but nothing ever updates.
Sometimes the updater gets in a funny state - Go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and download the full installer. Close Firefox and run the installer

Inbound idoc status 53 but nothing is updated in transaction level
Hi All
I am using we19 test tool to process routing idoc LOIROU02 (inbound processing)with some test values. After executing using standard inbound function module in R/3 4.7, I am getting a status 53 ( application document posted). This idoc is used for changing routings in PP module to allocate operations for BOM components in a master BOM material and Group. After processing, I went to routing transaction and checked but nothing is updated for operations. Do anyone knows why then the application document is successfully posted and giving status 53.

I am using inbound process code ED00 ( Display using workitem) , Identification TS30200088, with/o Ale service, Processing by task. I get the idoc in my business work place when I execute it through we19. From the business work place inbox, I got to edit idoc and End process for gettign the status 53. I am not sure why it is not updating the DB?

In the download assistant it shows download complete but nothing happens. attempted a few times but same results?

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

I try to open iphoto and it comes up with You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto. I have downloaded photo manager and it's telling me to update but it wont update...
iPhoto is Apple's included program to manage your photo's and pictures.
It receives updates over time with Software updates and new machine or iLife purchases.
When iPhoto gets updated or a newer version is used, it may alter iPhoto support files, but newer iPhoto versions usually always compatible with older files which it then updates.
If you used a newer iPhoto on your iPhoto support files, then they got altered to the newer format, older iPhoto versions can't read the older format.
Somewhere along the line you somehow got a older version of iPhoto on your computer, you need to fine the newer version of iPhoto (not this photo manager, sounds like another program)
Or somewhere along the line you used a newer iPhoto version (like on another Mac) and it altered the iPhoto support files on your older version of iPhoto.
So the key here is to find the newest version of iPhoto and use that to access your iPhoto support files.
If you didn't access your iPhoto support files from another Mac, then you should have the newer iPhoto version on your computer.
Once you find it, and get it in the Dock, you should remove the older iPhoto version from your computer to prevent this from happening again.
Lastly, if the newer version of iPhoto is somehow gone off your computer, you should be able to get a copy off the latest OS X install disk or iLife using a free program called Pacifist.
