Applications not appropriate for store location?

I'm in the UK and I've seen a huge number of apps appear that are traffic cameras for US cities. While they are free and I'm not dumb enough to download apps that are only any use in the US, I wonder if users in other countries are getting the same issue. Traffic cameras would be great if they did them for my country - maybe the UK ones are only available in the US? There also seems to be quite a number of apps that are not in English which is a shame as they look good but there is no way of telling what they do.
Given the problems that some location-based apps are having finding where I am, I guess I shouldn't be that surprised that apps in the iTunes store are having location problems!

our first product reacts as a game except it doesnt kill any enemy and dont leech any points.
we wont focus to grab points and kill.we just want IOS native apps as an user interaction enabled books.
so its not possible to sell other platform something like kindle etc.

this is what we focused.not just book kind.but also integrated educational sectionas are being under development.

What type of software would be unsuitable for AIR? Would
hardware or CPU intensive software be better developed using

Visual Basic to interface with Adobe's products than you are with
Adobe AIR development tools to interface with their own
products.

I have setup sequence for A/R Invoice, Incoming / Outgoing Payment and Excise Register, and created a few document successfully (with sequence number). But when I go to u201CTax Payment wizardu201D, in the 2nd stage on selection of any location give the following error and even the u201CSeq. Nameu201D does not show any sequence name.

the receiving with locator works only if there is a valid default locator defined in the system.
There is no option to enter the Locator manually in the receiving pages of iProcurement.
Locator and/or serial controlled Items must be received in the Core PO Receipt Form and not in iProcurement.

Error importing new version of our app "Application not available for edit"

Hi,
We are trying to import an app and get the error: Application not available for edit
thats it on a clean white background - Application not available for edit shows up at the top left corner of the screen.
Any clues?
We tried a new id, tried a custom id.
Then we tried deleting the existing app so we could insert the new app.
We can't delete either.
Help!

I'm going to hijack this thread and ask a follow up question to Scott (or whoever reads this).
When we export our application out of DEV it gets exported as Run + Build. When I have the DBA import into test or production on the Import screen I have them set it to Run Only and Reuse the Application ID. After installing it just forwards you to the same white screen with the "Application not available for edit" message on it. Now I understand the actual message since its Run Only, but its not clear that the import actually worked correctly or not.
So although it does seem to import correctly, they always get nervous when they see this that it didnt import correctly. So is it better to have them import as Run + Build and then go change the build status through the admin front end rather than the way I'm doing it now?

"Application not available" for every application ...

I'm hoping this is an easy one...
I have a Lumia 710 with the latest software. I reinstalled the OS on my laptop, and reinstalled Zune. I connected my Lumia and change the sync partnership type from Guest and everything looked OK.
Since then, when I connect to the App Marketplace and irrespective of what application I select, I get the message "Application not available. This might be because your phone software needs to be updated..." message.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you go to Microsoft store on your PC and you sign in with your Microsoft account you should be able to select apps and install them to the phone without the need of Zune. If this works and you can also install apps directly on your phone I'd contact Microsoft Store Support for further assistance.

Document library open in client application not working for img,pdf,txt files

In an office 365 sharepoint site i have enabled open in client applicartion for document library but it is not working for image/txt/pdf files for word and excel files it is working fine. I have even turned on the feature open document in client application
by default from site collection features also but there is no change.
Please advice.

Ios6 maps: Directions not available for India locations

Just updated to ios6 from ios 5.1 on iphone4
Built in maps app is not able to find any route/directions for Indian locations.
Tried a lot of permuataion, but every time it erros mentioning" Directions not availabel"
Although for US locations it is correctly showing directions
Let me know how to fix this

I should have never done the Grave mistake of downloading Disastrous iOS6. The maps are not working at all. Also, they have moved YouTube Icon from new version.I am using Iphone 4S.

There are probably dozens of "notes" applications available for your Mac. The only one from Apple that looks like the Notes app in iOS comes as part of OS X 10.8, but if you search MacUpdate.com for "notes", you may find something else that woudl suite you.

Help please-"Application Not Responding" for Safari and Mail

I read in one discussion that if Safari is slow, you can go to Font Book and select the fonts with a bullet to get rid of duplicate fonts. I did that, and then decided to disable some japanese fonts I don't use.
Now Safari and Mail don't work. Mail won't open at all, and Safari launches but doesn't load and I get the spinning wheel.
I used Disk Utility to fix permissions, and that didn't solve the problem, and now my Disk Utility also says "Application Not Responding".
I also went back to Font Book and enabled all the fonts I disabled. Still nothing.
( I can use Netscape-so it's only Mac applications I guess)
Any help is very much appreciated.

Wow- i fixed it! I remembered that when I was in Font Book originally, there were some fonts disabled, and I enabled them.
I couldn't remember EXACTLY which ones, but I disabled some I thought were the ones, and VOILA!
Mail works, Safari works...what a relief!
And it only took me HOURS...oh well.
If this might help anyone, here are the fonts I disabled again-

We developed a custom game engine app and put our first story via animated characters into it.
A fairy tale;user touch interaction functionality educational progressive reading game for kids age 5-9.
posted to be review 1st category as appstore>book and 2nd category(optional) as appstore>education.
in conclusion:
Our first app posted and rejected.that response issue is 2.21: as I understood; refers me to to delete app and post is as a pdf in ibookstore.am I right ? I suspect if I understand correct.
I believe reviewers didnt review enough.and referred to wrong section guideline.(is ibookstore)
it is not applicable to ibookstore because have touch user interaction to story characters and custom actions that is not degratable to an ibook.
simply its an educational app and we wantto distribute it in appstore>books or appstore>game>kids.
as I see in ibooks; they are books.
but our app is about reading book but everything is touch interaction in scenes, and story continues with user interaction plus many materials are animated.
My Question is this:
What do you prefer for me ?

SAP Mobile app Stock photo not work for network location

Hi Experts
I found if we use network location path (e.g.
servername\pic folder\) in SAP Business One General Settings -> Path, Picture Folder, then if we logon SAP B1 Mobile app from iPad/iPhone, and try to open stock photo, we will get error:
Processing Failed
Internal server error: contact your system administrator
It looks like it only work for local path, e.g C:\pic
Even we put path as :
local pc name\pic folder, it is also not work.
Any idea about this?

The first link is a temporary fix for a machine that only one or two people will use. This will not fix the Library Machines that some 3000 users can use at anytime. I can not pre-add all these users every time we image a machine. We also loan out laptops and I need these machine to wirelessly login dynamically to the domain. But I also need these machine to allow access if these machine are removed from our campus and the wireless access is not available.
Thank again for the help and I hope someone at Apple can fix this soon. I going to have a hard time telling the client that thay can not use the OS that came with they're machine.

I was looking at the new NEW Nintendo 3DS XLs being released soon but noticed that shipping was the only option on the website and not store pick up. Will this change once it gets closer to release or is shipping the only option now?
