Applications only for root are displayed even with user login

I am using MBP Pro with OSx 10.7.3. I use admin account. Recently I enabled root account and then disabled it back again. Since then I am seeing applications only for root and not for admin even with admin login. If I go to /Users/<admin username>/Library/Preferences, I can see that the applications has relevant files over there. When I looked more carefully I observed that, I am able to see the applications installed for the root only and not for the admin user. Is there any way to corrrect this?

Adobe Photoshop CC + Lightroom CC are displaying blacks with a green tone.

We did a monitor calibration a couple days ago with an EyeOne, same we have used many times and all went well. But now we have noticed that Photoshop and Lightroom are displaying blacks with a green tone over them. If the image is saved and viewed in it's folder it looks fine. All the settings in both programs are fine, both set to sRGB to match our camera profiles. It seems as though they are actually correct, just displaying wrong on the monitor. Has anyone else had this problem and know what we can do to correct it? Thank you

i cant believe this problem is still happening. same exact issue here. photoshop cs6 and CC run like **** on my macbook but run smooth on windows 7 on the same exact hardware, macbook pro 2.5ghz core i5, 16gb ram and intel hd 4000. ive talked with applecare about this, adobe support (who hasn't called me back twice now) and no response on how to fix this. its absolutely ridiculous that we are having to go through this much trouble to get this problem fixed. ive brought it up over 5 times now and no solution except for the usual suggestions (turn off hardware acceleration, delete your preferences, yada yada). same hardware, mac osx photoshop cc lags, windows photoshop runs fine.. something is wrong with the mac version of photoshop cs6 and CC adobe please fix this as soon as possible.

If we can't send a notification to an other user FormsCentral doesn't make sence and will cancel the account... That would be a pity, because otherwise everything would work very well.

Solution - only productive system are displayed in DSWP

Dear all,
I have created 4 Solutions.
In each solution - which has a "Productive System" as Leading Role of the Solution,
only productive systems are displays when I start my DSWP transaction.
Example :
1. Solution Name : Sol_ER
2. 3 logicals systems are assigned to this solution :
Z_ER_CRM_SERVER_50 ==> D12 - Q12 and P12 are assigned to this logical component.
Z_ER_ERP_60 ==> D11 - Q11 and P11 are assigned to this logical component.
3. When I start DSWP and I choose Sol_ER as SOLUTION, only P12 and P11 SAP systems are display.
I need to have all SAP sytems - D12-Q12-P12 and D11-Q11-P11 display in my SOLUTION.

Dear CP2009,
Only productive systems are "Put in Solution" automatically.
QAS, TEST, DEV systems need to be explicitly "Put in Solution".
If you go into the solution, in change edit mode, and right click on the systems that are not showing up when the solution is used, and select "Put in Solution", then visually the SID should be highlighted green, and now available in the solution.
I hope this information has been helpful and resolves this problem.

Fllooded with user login alarms

Hello: Now that I have snmp somewhat setup - with lots of
help from this forum - I am getting flooded with user login
alerts (alarms). The biggest offender is our FAXserve_User
account which logs in and out every 15 seconds as part of
its "scanning for new work" process. I really don't care
about know every user loggin / out event.
What is the best way to disable this behavior (short of
deleting the alarm type)?

either change it, delete it, or configure the mibs on the server correctly.
Honestly alarms is the best ROI on this part of the product and the part of
the product which is switched off the fastested again.
The reason: To many alarms ;-)
If you read through the docs you will find how to configure when and what
the server will report on. You need to do that based on your environment.
Also you need to configure the alarms corespondigly.
And thats be major part. And thats also the most complicated part as all
environment are different. Some environments don't need login alarms, some
do .. yaddayaddayadda..

Webconsole - menu only for root

I can only log into my webconsole with root. If I use another user the webconsole permits to log in but no applications (ZFS, Sun Cluster, ...) are available.

Some applications only allow you to administer if you log in as root. It all depends on the application itself. Check the document of the ones you feel you can log in as a non-root user.

Android and mtp - only for root

I''m trying to access my Android tablet via usb cable. I read the wiki page on mtp and I tried mtpfs, go-mtpfs and simple-mtpfs.
Each time I have the same problem, it doesn't work as user, only as root. As user mtp-detect doesn't find anything. As root simple-mtpfs works ok.
I uncommented user_allow_other in /etc/fuse.conf and added myself in fuse group (that didn't exist) as archwiki suggested.
Any idea what's the problem?

FWIW, if you are trying to transfer files between your android device and computer, I have found that using some kind of network file service on your computer works great. So I have a file server that runs a samba service (for my family), ssh/sftp (for me), and nfs4 (also for me). Unfortunately, I have not found a decent nfs application for android. But using either samba/smb or sftp seems to work great over my LAN. Then it can all be handles wirelessly as well.
I have noticed that there are quite a few file manager applications for android that also include clients for sftp, ftp, smb, and some of the online syncing services (like dropbox). So I use my file manager application, which I think is called Solid File Manager. Of course, you could also use bittorrent sync to handle this as well, though on my device it seems to eat away at the battery rather quickly.

I have a scenario where we does STO and then delivery against outbound and performs goods receipt. in MMBE the stock is still displaying under schedule for delivery and also in MD04 even the stock is deducted from supplying plant and performed goods receipt at receiving plant..also stock is displaying at receiving plant..why the stock is still displaying in stock for del at sending plant..in general what happens when we does goods receipt against outbound delivery or when we does against STO?

Following is the scenario:
User is got access to all Contacts and can see only owned SRs.
User Role - Can Read All Records = YES
User Access Profile
Contact - Readonly
Related Information under Contact:
Service Request - View (Inherit Primary does not appear in the drop down)
When I login, I am able to see all Contacts (as per Role set) and also all SRs related to that Contact.
Problem: Only SRs that are owned by the logged in User should appear. Other user's SR should not be displayed under the contact.
I have seen examples of using "Inherit Primary". This option is not available.
How to achieve this functionality ? (Contact - Read All Records and SRs related to Contact should show only logged in users SRs)

P0 - indicates the no. of parameters to be passed
P1 - indicates the operator to be used.. in my case it was equal
P2 - field name... get the exact name from the report designer by clicking Formula in the column. (I missed this part and struggled to get the right data for couple of hours)
P3 - the value for which the data to be filtered. (Get this value from the drop down in Custom Web Applet)

Displaying pictures with user messages

I was wondering if there was a way to display pictures with custom error messages to inform the user about the reason for the error. Is there a way to do that or can these error/ user messages only be displayed in the form of text?

If the image for specific errors is known during development time and static (e.g. error 100: image of connector with note: "check here"), you can create an error handler selecting images in a picture ring.
If the images are "dynamic", you have to change the error handler to load images (path has to be known!) and display the image in a picture control. You should use JPG or PNG files.

In order to solve this, ensure you have maintained the correct password, which MUST be the same, for all the service user on XI and ensure it has eight (8) characters in length.
You may check all the places it should be maintained, such as Exchange Profile, SU01, SLDAPICUST, etc..

I am trying to boot the application server, but the operation fails with the error message:

I installed the database with the setup program and come to think of it, I don't think you can specify whether to create a system or demo database. So I probably didn't install a demo, which is what I wanted. I also ran the SQRs and everything showed the database was correct, so I thought I did it right.
If I could install a demo with the setup program, I would do that because I think I could run through it pretty quickly having done it once. I've read in this forum and other places that it's much better to install the db manually, so maybe I'll just do that.
