ScriptBundles and application relative URLs

I'm having trouble coming up with a way to bundle javascript files in my environment using .net's scriptbundles. My environment is setup with one website and about 30 applications configured in IIS under this one site. I also have about 20 or
so different custom javascript libraries that provide various features or "widgets" to the applications. The widget's .js files are located in folders at the root of the site. Each application may use some or all of these widgets.
While I have gotten the bundles to work for .js files that are local to each applcaition, I'd like to bundle together the .js files that are external to the application. This would allow me take advantage of the minifying and help resolve any caching
issues.
Is there any way possible to not have to use application relative URLs?
I have looked at trying to use the CDN option, but that doesn't work, because while in debug mode it tries to use a local version of the widget and there will never be a version local to the app, but there will always be one at the site root.
I also noticed that you can override the .Include function of the ScriptBundle class. Maybe there's an answer there, but I couldn't figure it out.
It seems to me that constraining the files that can be included to just the files located in the application is poor judgment.

Hi all
Iam new J2ME. I need to develop applications related to Digital TV. I have gone through some of the pdf's but iam not understanding from where to start. Firstly i need to know the steps to develop such applications. How do i setup the configuration for these kind of applications?

go to Help --> Check for Update and get the SOA extension (it will download and install automatically). This then extends JDeveloper with all teh SOA editors

Oracle application related target not show in grid control 11g (11.1.0)

hi all
i insall grid contrlol on r12(12.1.1) and it work very fine detect all target r12 database plus oracle application server all target...
but my problem is, when i connect it to another system r12(12.1.3) by agent silent installation...it detect oracle r12 database but not detect any target related to oracle application server such as oracle ebusiness suit,http server or any target related to application server...
os linux 5.4.
acutally i want to configure plug in 4.0
i follow metalink doc 1224313.1( i apply all the patch that are mentained in this document..)

LabVIEW 8.0.1 Runtime Crash w/ Application.exe - Urgent!

Hello All; here is a strange one for you...
I have LabVIEW 8.0.1 Professional Development System installed on 2 PCs, one running WinXP and one running Win2K. I have a particular application that I have created (quite large) on my WinXP version, compiled into a .exe. The application runs without incident on my WinXP LabVIEW Deveopment environment, and also under the Runtime.
When I try to run the application on my Win2K machine, the exe crashes immediately after loading (every time). However, it will run just fine under tdevelopment system on the same PC. I make no changes from the WinXP to the Win2K machines, and both LabVIEW installations are identical (i.e. LabVIEW 8.0 with 8.0.1 patch installed with mass compile; IMAQ Vision 8.0, and Application Builder).
I have run a thorough Windows Update on both machines. An older version program (compiled using the same system) will work, but not my latest. The latest will run fine on WinXP and Win2K Development, but not Win2K runtime.
I am at the point where I may need to start with the older rev code, and add pieces one-by-one until I find the error (assuming it is code related and not some DLL somewhere), but due to program size, that could take days.
Any insight would be much appreciated, as I am under a tight schedule! Thanks in advance.

It maybe the account does not have the correct permissions.
Maybe the web server has not been configured last.
If you are really struggling and need to set up an application quickly you can go direct to planning

or
Reconfigure workspace(Web Server only not data base) it will come workspace also

I am not using OID. I am using only JAZN. I copied is_config.xml and wf_config.xml to classes folder where i am running standalone application and also i referred this to the classpath. Kindly do the needful.. I am struggling with this issue for past 3 days.
Another thing is if i am giving the user name as "jcooper" it is throwing the error. If i give "oc4jadmin", then the issue resolved.
kindly tell me what should i do inorder to login as jcooper instead of oc4jadmin

Reports Server and Reinstalling Oracle9i Application Server - URGENT!! Please Help

I have been experiencing problems while trying to reinstall ORACLE 9i AS - Unlike the first time I installed it, I was not prompted to enter configuration details for the origin database (host, port etc.) and portal settings!!!! etc. It doesn't even appear to install the products either. (I have uninstalled the previous installation prior to attempting reinstallation.
- If anybody has any ideas please explain in detail what to do.

Java and Partner Applications - EXTREMELY URGENT

i'm trying to register a single sign on servlet application as a partner application.
i followed ths steps as mentioned in the SSO SDK version 307 and when i try to run the application i get the following error -

Thank you very much once again for your prompt reply and suggestions. I tried the later solution using Developing Statically Protected PL/SQL (or j2ee) Applications described in Oracle® Application Server Single Sign-On Application Developer's Guide 10g (9.0.4).
Protect the servlet(or jsp) by entering the following lines in the mod_osso.conf file:

When this particular application added inside the portal (try to web clipp, it redirects to SSO login page.) In this case users have to login twice. Once to the default portal page, and another to this stand alone out side application. Defeats the purpose of SSO using Portal.
Your question "is it an app that you want to be able to invoke from a link within Portal?" hits the nail right on the head. The difference here is, I do not want to add as a page link, ideally I want this web application to be able to web clipped inside the portal.
Now, this is the external application (and not developed as a portlet). I have not completely understood how any web application developed as a portlet can get the user information (user/groups/roles etc) when user logs in to portal default page. And, the authorization is implemented inside this web application. They(users) do not need to authenticate once again since that is done when they login to the portal. I hope I am making sense.
I am not clear on the web application developed as a portlet. Can users, groups, and roles be implemented inside this application? If it is developed as portlet. The problem here is you have to rewrite all of your existing applications as a Portlet (either PL/SQL or J2EE). Not all applications are developed using this technology.

Are you using sapgui for html login as you have said there is no need to install the gui. As far as i know they need authorization for that report to execute.

One option is to use 9iAS InterConnect. InterConnect provides a database adapter for integrating database applications. You would have one database adapter per application and use the iStudio GUI tool to create mappings between the objects in the various applications. What is the best way of persisting Web-application related data?

My web-application needs to persist some data (a set of XML documents), i.e. save them so that they can survive server or application shutdowns. Saving those documents as files in server's filesystem does not seem to be convinient to me because the container may run the application directly form WAR and it is impossible (maybe I am wrong?) to modify files inside WAR archive. Forcing WAR extraction requires container reconfiguration and is container implementation dependent, which is not acceptable.
What would be ideal is some individual persistent storage bound to an application which does not require any external enitites (external databases etc). And this storage should not depend on any particular implementation of servlet container.
So is there a way to do something like this?

Saving it to disk seems like your only alternative.
Presuming you have at least some control over the machine where it is deployed to, you could specify a directory to save the xml documents to (ie not one under your web application structure) This would get around the limitations of the WAR file not being extracted.
Make the directory an environment variable/init parameter in your web.xml file.
All you need then is a directory on the server that you have write permissions to.
Ok it requires more setup when deploying the web application, but I thinks its about the only way to accomplish what you want to do.
